I can do it with pistol but its way eaiser with m4. stick the muzzle on teh lip of the clearing barrel and and just pull hard with the ejection port pointed skyward. not hard.

bklem, i didnt know you worked at the zoo. I did community service there when i was about 15 for a curfew violation i had.

generally what i do. go to the clearing barrel 4 -5 times or more a day for a year its alot easier.
