Im seriously thinking of biking my 11 miles to work. I just dont want to do the 11 miles home.

Yesterday was my day off exercising, aside from 5 miles on the bike. Today I rode 2 miles and now I have no motivation to do anything... a guy I work with is trying to talk me into the Country Music Half Marathon thing. Im not to into that.

I find it pretty funny that you guys keep saying that teachers lean to the left. My wife is an elementary school teacher. She votes conservative every time. She is not alone. I have met alot of the other teachers. I dont know but maybe one that would be a democrat.

I would not set your own IP. I would leave everything auto.

I find it funny that people think its their job to teach their political ideas to their kids. Same thing with their religon. Why not let the kids think it through themselves and come to their own conclusions?

You (not literally you justme) can buy MRE's by the case at the Commisary I believe. I know they had them at the Commisary at RAF Alconbury in the UK when I was there as a teen with my father.... I havent looked on Ft. Campbell. I do know that they cost the Army like 7 or 8 bucks a pop so if you can get them for less I'd say you are getting a deal. Verbal said they were good. I dont know if I would go that far. Some are better than others for sure but if you ever have to eat them for every meal I'd like you to come back and tell us how long you liked them. They have changed the menu quite alot. The 24 different MRE styles we had when I came in 8 years ago is not the same that I had with my dad growing up. Neither is it the same as what I get now. Not everything has changed since I have been in but quite a bit. Realistically they are still pretty bulky. We always field stripped them down to just what we would eat and then tape it back up tightly or stuff the things into pockets.

The issued MOLLE ruck sack can not be used without the frame to the best of my knowledge. You wouldnt want to either. It has no padding and no rigidity without the frame to hold its shape. The assault pack was supposed to be a three day pack and comes with a thin plastic backing along with a foam insert to help keep shape and comfort. It still isnt the greatest imo. We had blackhawk assault packs that were better and held more (I am comparing the USGI AP vs the BH AP only) just not MOLLE as it wasnt out when those packs were purchased by the unit for Kosovo. Joe is making a bag that is very much like blackhawk's three day assault pack but it is superior IMO and costs less. I dont think its in full production yet though. It is around 100 dollars. I am not sure of the total costs on a USGI MOLLE ruck but Id imagine it is well in excess of 100.

Before this though I was on a 17" Samsung monitor with a P4 and like 2.5 gigs ram with an AGP card. When I built that one it was pretty damn awesome. But 5 years between comps puts you behind lol.

Its great imo. I also have a Samsung SyncMaster 2233 21.5" ws hd monitor.
