I used it in cowboy action side matches. It is accurate and an extremely fun “old caliber” lever action rifle to shoot. · In very good condition some light scratches on the right side of receiver I tried to capture in photos. · Has a Marble Arms peep sight mounted on rear and what looks like the original on front. · There is a dovetail for the original buckhorn which I do not have. · Will include the original box, however, it’s in very, very bad shape. Hello, Up for sale is the last (as of right now) of my x39 firearms. This one is tough to part with considering they have become quite hard to come by, but it is yet another gun I have had for years, and just never shoot. I bought it from a good friend who bought it brand new several years ago when they were being imported. He came across hard times, so I bought it from him. Between the both of us, we put a total of about 1500-2000 rounds through the rifle. The last time it was shot was over 5 years ago, and has just been up in the safe since. Bore is very clean and shiny. Rivets are excellent, and sights are straight. We got to inspect several when these were available new, and this one had no production flaws. Action is buttery smooth. Numbers matching. At one point, my friend painted some stripes on the stock and hand guard, but I have removed most of it and only the faint lines remain on the stock, but the hand guard wasn't worth trying to get into each one of those grooves, so it is more noticeable there. Comes with: -Ultimak gas tube/rail to mount an optic (I don't have the original upper hand guard). -Krebs custom safety lever (original included). -ALG trigger (no longer have the original). -Magpul grip (no longer have original) -5 Bulgarian Circle 10 Magazines -1 Korean Drum, -2 Arsenal short mags (5 or 10 rounds?) I have taken lots of pictures so please look through them if you are interested. If you need additional shots or angles, let me know. I tried to show its condition as best as possible. Bolt and carrier are showing appropriate wear patterns. There may be a lesson there about selling multiple guns, quite a bit of value, using an unconventional payment means. I don't mean to imply that one shouldn't accept gold, but for a big trade it might be worth the expense of a professional evaluation.

Here's a pic of my meager Colt collection. I'm afraid that they only pic of the Python I have currently. That's it at the top. I hear ya about the S&Ws. I have a safe full of 'em and there ain't a single lock in the bunch. I only have one with any MIM parts. S&W ain't what they used to be.

For me, the Taurus TX22 wins the best 22LR for the money.
