  3. Bought this new in 1982. It's in really nice shape considering its 43 years old! Used it for metallic silhouette matches and challenging squirrel hunts. It has an 8 3/8" barrel, factory target grips, target hammer and target trigger. As all older Smiths, a really clean, light trigger pull. It has a recessed cylinder and partridge front sight. There is slight holster wear near the muzzle which I tried to show. $1000 for me to part with this safe queen, sorry, not interested in trades, shrinking my collection.

  6. A lot of people just show up and shoot their first match. That's what I did way back in the 1900s. While that is the "traditional" way of doing it, we can make an argument that doing an "intro" class makes sense to familiarize you with the rules and "how to play the game" type info. That would be a more structured way to familiarize yourself with the game and the rules. Having said that people are generally open to helping new folks and if you just show up at a match and tell them you are a new shooter they will take care of you.

  7. Why not post in the TGO Classifieds? You can list any stipulations you want. You can require a buyer to have been a TGO member for a minimum amount of time, must be a Benefactor, have X number of positive iTrader reviews from long time members, meet at your local police station for the deal, require an HCP and a bill of sale, must communicate via phone call instead of texts/messages, etc. Whatever you want to require. It might limit your buyer pool a bit, but my experience is that folks with a positive history on TGO are on the up and up.

  9. Hmmm....those cars are uncommon and AIUI need someone who knows how to work on them, especially if you have the active aero bits and 4-wheel steering. That's one reason I've stayed away from them though I've been tempted more than once. You might check out some forums specializing in the 3000GT / Dodge Stealth and see if there are any Mid-TN folks who could direct you. A quick Google search turns up: https://www.3si.org/ https://www.3sgto.org/forum.php https://www.mitsubishi-forums.com/forums/3000gt-gto-forum.33/ What makes you think you need a full rebuild?

  10. I bought this truck at a repo auction for $2700. I’ve driven the hell out of it for seven years, and sold it for a profit. Pulled tractors, lawnmowers, and a bass boat all over everywhere. It’s been a great truck. I sort of miss it already, but the two of use don’t really need 4 vehicles when we rarely leave home.

  12. A "services offered, services needed" with locality. In these troubled times of woe and want, it might be nice to support fellow members of the board with their projects or if one were to be a practitioner of said Trade or vocation, might be amenable to providing services for fellow members. Ad example "Wanted in Tullahoma area, well driller for water well". Inversely, "well driller available Tullahoma and 150mi in any direction, call for TGO prices!" I've found this a great way to get good deals, finish projects, avoid taking chances on Facebook flakes, and most importantly SUPPORT FELLOW GUNNIES! Just a thought. In my previous vocation as one of the nation's premier FAL, AK, HK, GALIL, AR builders and firearms refinishers i was able to trade all manner of needed services for my labors, from legal representation to dentistry, BARTER remains untaxable and a great way to exercise independence from the ever-intrusive State. 16. ***SOLD*** I have a Holosun EPS Carry in green 2MOA dot. This is not the model with the solar panel or multiple reticles. It was mounted to a weapon and test fired for zero and is fully functional with "shake awake" function. The glass is clear and undamaged (see pics) Includes the original factory box, manual, sight tool and screws and a rubber scope cover that's molded for the EPS Carry. The only flaw is cosmetic as I found a single minor scratch to the housing on the front/lower edge. I captured it in one of the pics, but it does not impede function or integrity of the case. NO TRADE OFFERS, cash is king. No lowball offers please. Asking: $250

  19. Parts gun built on a pre-1913 Luger. You can tell it's early because there is no stock attaching lug on the back of the grip. What are the markings on the top of the chamber? How is the bore? Probably no value to a real collector, but any complete Luger in decent shape is worth at least $1000. Go shoot it and have fun!

  25. Since DataRepublican found out about all the Federal money being sent to liberal organizations, and DOGE put a stop to a lot of those money transfers, there hasn't been as much money to hire protesters and bus them around the country.

  27. And when they or anyone else does, I’ll laugh at them for calling it an “insurrection”. Was it wrong? Yeah. But it’s silly to claim that it was substantively worse than sustained nightly attacks on cities during the previous summer. There was a months long nightly siege of federal buildings like the federal courthouse in Portland where they repeatedly attempted to burn it down with people inside of it. They set fire to St. John’s Episcopal AKA “America’s Church” across the street from the white house. So no, I’ve never gotten too worked up about what was mostly an unguided tour where the only person who died was shot by Capitol Police.

  30. Dragontargets.com 4", 6", and 8" AR500 1/2" targets for $29.99. I bought a set of these last week and they arrived quickly and seem to be your run of the mill steel targets. They also have several other good deals right now. Shipping was $15. Can't go wrong if you are in the market for steel targets.

  32. Recently purchased one of these. It's a nice shooter. I have "medium" hands and the default backstrap is fine for me. Strangely mine had trouble with Monarch brass ammo however Winchester white box works fine. It may simply be a "break in" problem I haven't put that many rounds through it yet. When field stripping the slide does not come all the way forward as you might expect. It lifts up and off when about an inch or so from its normal position. Worth noting. Excellent pistol

  33. After actually handling the Canik TTI, I put the smallest backstrap on and it was still too big for my hands. So I have decided to go this route instead. Fits my hand perfectly.
