Why not post in the TGO Classifieds? You can list any stipulations you want. You can require a buyer to have been a TGO member for a minimum amount of time, must be a Benefactor, have X number of positive iTrader reviews from long time members, meet at your local police station for the deal, require an HCP and a bill of sale, must communicate via phone call instead of texts/messages, etc. Whatever you want to require. It might limit your buyer pool a bit, but my experience is that folks with a positive history on TGO are on the up and up.3 points

Selling my Yankee Hill AR 15. Yes, they make full rifles. All Magpul everything including the ACS stock. I had the original quad rail swapped out for this slim Midwest industries Mlok rifle length. Vortex Strike eagle 1-6 is on a Burris PEPR QD mount and has all original box and paperwork. Less than 300 rounds, and it’s lived in a case. I would prefer to sell everything together and not break up the optic.2 points

It's not 100% yet but it's better than it was. Will try to get a better fix in place over the next week.2 points

I will look into it, but it may be Tuesday before I can. The next two days are booked solid for me.2 points

I am not getting notifications either. The ones I am referring to are when for sale items are posted. Not getting those the last couple of days.2 points

Gun stores usually only give you half or less of what the gun is actually worth. Frankly, they screw you big time. However, they may sell it on consignment for you. You set the price and pay them a percentage for making the deal. But be aware that some will even screw you on that by asking way to much of a cut. I agree that your best bet is to sell here. Unfortunately for me, you're too far away for me to be a buyer.2 points

Please read ALL the details! This is NOT a regular American, although it mostly looks like one. Barreled action is from the compact model, so only 20" Stock is from the regular model, with AICS mag well & MDT 10 round mag & adjustable cheek riser installed. I had the chamber re-cut from standard to .223 Wylde & throated specifically to shoot heavier, long projectiles & take maximum advantage of the 1:8 twist. The bolt has been refinished & polished to get rid of the infamous 'zip-zip' noise. I also installed a beautiful Timney trigger that is hands down THE single nicest trigger I've ever tried. Dead on 2lb break with zero slop or creep. I can happily & easily put 30 rounds into a 1.25" 100yd group & it will maintain that accuracy of to 800yds I've got much, much more invested in the rifle than I'm asking, but I also understand that to most folk it's "just a Ruger American" I don't know my exact round count, certainly over 500, but well under 1000. The rifle WILL come with the rings but without the scope. The scope will be available with the rifle, or possibly after it sells. It's an SWFA 6x42 milquad with mil turrets. VERY highly sought after & has been unobtanium for a couple of years now. It won't hurt my feelings at all to keep it. I have 3 others & a spare couldn't hurt. $500 for the rifle, $400 for the scope.1 point

I’ve had a couple PM’s that didn’t generate notifications via email. Verified email settings are active. Anyone else notice any email notification problems the last day or so?1 point

I have one just like that, except all Black. I pocket carry it in a DeSantis G3 every night when I take the dog out before bedtime. We've got a noticeable amount of Coyotes in our area (rural). GLWS.1 point

Thanks. Ky gun Co has an "order" if I understand it correctly on a T.O.R.O. FS with TB, Extra mags, and viridian green dot. Seems like it was 329. I think I'm going to go for it.1 point

I trust the members here far beyond the average gun dealer. I'd sort of like to take a peek too.1 point

I could write a book on meeting someone to buy/sell something, i.e. guns or non-guns in my 50+ years of buying/selling things with individuals. Anyway my 2 cents: If you want top dollar without the parking lot risk, Gunbroker, but that comes with its own challenges. Next is finding a reputable local collector and this site has likely many, next is consignment at a gun shop but make sure you understand the loss risk (fire/theft), next is probably a reputable FFL licensed auction house (farm equipment/antiques/weekly miscellaneous), and at the bottom is gun stores and pawn houses, why is because those businesses are in the business to make a profit off of markup, and like others have said will pay you 50% or less on the dollar because of their time, investment, and knowing the market, etc. However, those are the easiest and you can get paid today. If your parking lot concern is just the general public or being robbed, you can always sell your item(s) at a police station parking lot, I think some jurisdictions have marked safe areas for that purpose. Or if your risk concern is just the legalize of selling a gun, this site offers good sound advice on how to sell, Just go to classifieds and read the stickies. Finally, my last two pieces of advice, never ever sell something from your home address even non-gun related, just the risk you invite is not necessary vs. convenience, and never sell to anyone without a witness (a friend with you), both for added security and needed witness incase of discrepancies.1 point

Starting on Monday, March 31, 2025, members of Tennessee Gun Owners will be required to login using the email address that you registered with. You will not be able to login using your display name. If you are not sure what email address you used when creating your account, you can find it here: Settings > Overview If you want to change your email address, you can do that here: Settings > Email Address Why Is This Happening? The ability to log in using display names will be removed in a future version of our forum software. Allowing members to log in with a display name can represent a security weakness for our community because display names are public information. Malicious users may attempt to login to multiple accounts with common passwords until they find an account for which the passwords work.1 point

Love the Beretta version, I have the 84BB. Liked it so much I got the 81BB in 32. I see BDAs more rarely on Gunbroker, though they can be found there in Used/Excellent condition for around the $6-700 mark. Just in case one doesn’t show up locally. Good luck!1 point

Have you looked at a 48? It’s a 43X with a 4” barrel. It’s essentially a 19 on slimfast and is better than a 19 or 43X IMO.1 point

I say “again” because I introduced myself back in the summer of 2021 and then immediately went dark. Sorry about that. I’m back and hope to get more active in my various communities, both geographically and socially. I’m a long-time gun owner/shooter/hunter/outdoorsman, but now that I’m “retired” I’d like to get more active. I used to participate in High Power Rifle and would like to take that up again (I’ve still got most of my gear); if no such competition exists nearby I’d be happy to help get it going.1 point

I would like to amend this by also stating that as far as I am concerned, this also applies to non-profit 503{c}{3} organizations such as Project Appleseed. A legitimate non-profit 503{c}{3} organization may post announcements about any of their classes or courses without being a Vendor. Thanks.1 point

This rifle is in excellent like new condition. Is perfect for a precision beginner. I have maybe 100 rounds thru it since new. Always clean and maintained. The adjustable trigger is the best out of the box in any bolt gun I’ve ever owned. The Nikon P-22 paired with it is also incredible glass and accuracy for the money. Include are 4x 10rnd box mags. 3 additional that were $35 ea when I purchased them. Also included Allen Company Boulder Baktrak Red/Black rifle sling rubber grip with swivels. Rifle highlights: 22” Fluted heavy barrel Button rifled User adjustable AccuTrigger Black Hardwood Tactical stock Piccatiny & Weaver Combo bipod mount Nikon P-22 Highlights: 2-7 x32 BDC 150 reticle 50/75/100/125/150 calibrated target points 1/2 MOA adjustments Tactical style resettable zero Nitrogen filled / Oring sealed 100% waterproof & fog proof Generous eye relief Nikon Full lifetime warranty I’m open to all trades I respond fastest to text.
