  4. Don't do anything until you've shot it for a while. Then make only the changes that will make it better for you. Do you really need a better trigger? Better sights? Optics or add ons? Only you can decide. Making changes just for the sake of making changes in a waste of money. Making the wrong changes is a waste of a good gun.

  5. I recently picked up a Glock 17 classic/Gen 1 remake, and just wanted to show it off! Tupperware box included, just like the originals through Gen 2, I believe. If you want one, Academy has them marked down to $450, so it was like $501 OTD.

  6. Do you already compete? If not, my recommendation is to not buy guns starting out. As long as the Sig doesnt go off in your holster* it should be fine. Go shoot some matches and see what you actually need. I shot 3 Gun for 3 years with my 870 because I already had one and the time on the pump wasnt making enough difference to matter. Once I starting getting in the Top 3 in my division I finally upgraded to a semiauto. That year I won my division for the Season at TSF in Jackson. Another big factor is what level you plan to shoot 3 Gun. If its just local matches theres really no reason to buy extra pistols if you have some that already suffice. I did wind up buying a Glock 34 for competition after a while, mostly due to the ammo costs of competing with a .45. I would recommend buying a couple shell caddies to start off with, so you can dryfire. I really liked the EZ-8 as my first one due to price (it was like ~$40) and Invictus Practical (although I heard they went out of business)

  7. I have watched Dans podcast for several years-and have decided on one thing- He is definitely not full of crap like so many- He calls it like it is and doesn't put any lipstick on the pig- I think that there are a lot of Politicians that should be very nervous about now-

  8. Wanting to sell my like-new Smith and Wesson 460XVR 7.5" Performance Center (model 11626). I purchased it new in early February, and have fired about 100 rounds through it. I decided I want a model with a longer barrel. There are some minor scratches on the cylinder, but it is in like-new condition otherwise. Includes the original box, carrying case, and all other accessories. Looking for about $1,150 (reduced from 1,600) but am open to reasonable offers. I live near Sherwood TN, and am willing to drive about 2 hours (this includes Nashville and Chattanooga). Must be a Tennessee resident to purchase.

  9. Galco Miami Classic II shoulder holster Fits Glock 9/40 Tan/light brown Very lightly used Shoulder holsters are badass, and the Miami Classic II is the most badass of them all. You should only buy this if you want to look cool as hell. I sold my glock, so I don't need it anymore. I still have one for my 1911, so don't worry about me - still looking cool. MSRP $329. You can probably find one on Amazon for ~$250. Asking $150

  13. As most of us know, Walmart used to sell most any gun and ammo that you may want. They have narrowed that down to basic rifles and shotguns and matching ammo. Now, as I'm sitting out behind the auto service area with my dog as the oil was being changed in my wifes car, I went to get on this site and it was blocked by Walmarts WiFi because it was associated with guns. Seems weird to me that you sell guns and ammo, but your WiFi blocks internet access to anything associated with guns.

  17. I want to sell or trade a HK P2000 V2, date code 2022. It comes with the box, 4 mags and tru dot night sights. I've made a few upgrades, HK45C (extended) mag release, 10 lb hammer spring, nickel plated sear spring, light trigger return spring and gray guns short reset. 2 mags have solum tool +3 extenders with hk 17 round conversion kit, allowing for 18 rounds. I'm asking $700 or trade for a CZ SP-01.

  18. Here for sale is a 1960s Manurhin P-1 chambered in 9mm (French made Walther P-1). The firearm is in good condition with a very smooth action and comes with a vintage German holster and two original magazines. The recoil springs have been replaced with brand new Wolff factory replacements. I am most interested in a trade for a Walther PP or other small, vintage, .32 caliber pocket pistols (I can add cash to the deal if needed). I’m located in East Nashville and you can contact me by text as well at (615)925-9979. Please feel free to reach out with any questions and thanks for looking.

  20. I too just picked up my first 2011 styled pistol except I went with the Stealth Arms Platypus. I was looking at the Prodigy, Mac 9 DS, and the Platypus. I did a bunch of research on all 3, but both the Prodigy and the Mac 9 DS I saw a lot of people saying the best upgrade/improvement they made was shooting it and give the contact points a good polish.

  25. It has a gen 1 style frame - no rail on the frame and different grip texture with no finger grooves.

  26. Yes sir. I meant to put that in the original post. The thumb safety and the mag safety parts are still available to be reinstalled if so desired. I have thick hands and I kept knocking the thumb safety on without knowing it. It was easy to remove so I’m assuming easy to put back. If you are not interested in the threaded barrel I will take $250 for just the gun and magazines box etc. good question. Thanks for asking.

  29. It's all about liability these days. Most places with publicly accessible wifi use some sort of web filtering to restrict objectionable or questionable content. To let people access something like hacking or movie pirating sites would open you up to all kinds of liability. The place I work had a guest wifi setup years ago, and we actually got a cease and desist letter from RIAA because someone used it to watch a pirated movie from some sketchy website.

  30. Of course you can always spend as much money as you want, but something like a Glock 34 will be very hard to beat for the money.

  34. Agreed. A New 1911 will need break in time. Try different ammo and see what it likes. Some will not like hollow points and require a competent 1911 gunsmith. I have not personally had any issues with 1911s or with the Para 14.45 I had. I have a nearly new RIA now and can't wait to get it to the range. I might change sights as it is a GI model. Once I'm confident it is running 100% I plan to put all stainless controls on her just for looks. A good 1911 usually needs nothing and most are "upgraded" because they weren't broken in. One thing leads to another until you have a money pit that never really needed anything.

  42. I really like the Samurai Edge look too. Well done. I was curious about the 96/92 conversion. Apparently yes, it’s super easy to go from a 96 to a 92 and Beretta even sold a 96 kit that included all the conversion parts. Just a barrel swap and 9mm mag gets you 90% there.
