  1. Remember this great quip by the " Father of the Gunsite Academy ", the great Jeff Cooper:.... They ( the SAA, DA Revolver, or 1911 ) are all the same til the first reload. Armed citizens rarely find themselves in " reload gunfights. A finished revolver man, nomatter the flavor of revolver, is a thoroughly dangerous man, and is quite capable of stopping multiple threats. The " high capacity spray n pray approach is overrated. leroy...

  7. Had this for about a year. I prefer a full size grip so I'm going to sell this or trade for a DR 920 (the full size version). Comes as seen with all accessories.

  8. I have always wanted an 1897 Winchester, because nothing says “Get out of my house!” Like a slam fire capable, 12 gauge Shotgun, loaded with 00 buck, and a 19 inch bayonet

  9. Back to your original question....the Beretta 300 is very reliable and about as good as it gets for the money. It can be had in a tactical model. Also can easily take care of a coyote at 50 yds. As far as ammo, 00 Buck in federal flight control, 8 pellet is regarded as one of the best. Same thing can be had in the Hornady Black and low-recoil Remington. 2 3/4 " is all you need and this will help with mag capacity. Be aware, as shells come from the factory they can be a little longer in comparison when unfired this again can cut down mag capacity by 1. Preference for VanComp side saddle velcro cards. PS: if you have your gun, I recommend training with Randy Harris, known on this forum as Cruel Hand Luke. This is a class relatively close to you:

  12. Yes it is all real , LOL. He is here in my town and I see him all the time when I am in court. All the rings and jewelry and flashy clothes. It is quite a sight , but he has always treated me nice. I've known him over 28 years. When I am in court on my court days , It is funny to watch the older folks stare and look at him as he enters the court room. Most the time there is one ring on EACH finger. And every ring is real and not fake. A dark colored suit and some bright white snake skin boots. I saw an elderly lady's jaw drop as he entered the room and it was hilarious . The commercials and videos are funny I admit LOL.

  24. Right, but I don’t think a holster would have made a difference. At least not one like the jackwags OCing around here use.
