  4. They are made right here in the good old USA. Kennesaw Georgia. They are hand fit by one gunsmith. It is tight! No rattles. 3.5 lb trigger. I haven't shot it yet.

  8. Precision Reloading is offering free Hazmat on orders over $149. They have a variety of primers in stock and are "reasonably" priced at $80 or $90 / thousand. I remember complaining about $30 primers....

  9. This new season of Lioness was even better than the first one. Several times the shootouts put me in mind of Sicario. Huge shoes to fill, but almost as good.

  10. Giving this another shot. Have the gun listed on consignment but want to move it…I have a 1908 DWM Luger “first issue” that is matching minus the magazine (which the magazine numbers are so obscured that if you stare enough it could appear to match the rest of the pistol but I will leave that up to your own interpretation). 1908s in this range did not have chamber date and some parts were marked in the commercial (hidden) style of placement. I did not fully disassemble to take photographs of all parts but a serious buyer can have their look over it in person. The pistol is unit marked to the 107th Infantry Regiment of the 24th Infantry Division. I purchased this pistol from a long-time serious collector who was downsizing their collection. The pistol has some pitting issues and finish issues, as seen in the photographs, but for being 116 years old and likely fighting in at least one World War it still presents well. Asking $1400, meet around Murfreesboro. Trade interests would be: KAC Rifles, LMT, and WWI/ WWII firearms. Will entertain other offers.

  12. I have a 4” Springfield Champion from the 1990s. This is an all steel 4” 1911 built like a GI model. This uses a traditional bushing system. The newer Springfield Champions use a bull barrel. I have a Wilson Combat 47D magazine to include but isn’t pictured. Unfortunately, there is no box. I am thinking $450 on this one. Pick up in Chattanooga and flash TN ID. Not really looking for trades.

  14. I'm looking for load data for sub-sonic 45-70 rounds. I know sub-rounds are usually 400+gr, but can I load plinking subs with 300gr bullets (I have some). I have read Trail Boss by Hodgdon is a good low velocity powder, but it doesn't seem available. I am also curious about 30-30 sub loads.

  15. Lowered to $400 firm. I have for sale a Canik TP9SFx for $400. It comes with the original box, 2 20 round mags and 2 18 round mags, various plates for mounting an optic, and a FreedomSmith trigger installed, that is literally the nicest trigger setup I have ever shot. I cannot find the original trigger. I got this four or five years ago for competition shooting, but lost interest in the sport. I shot it in one Shoot-n-Scoot and have taken it to the range a couple of times. It's clean with a low round count, though I am not sure of the exact number of rounds. I even have a left-handed OWB holster if you want it. Thanks for looking.

  19. You may have more luck selling this if you post it in the TGO Trading Post (Classifieds), Gear subforum. And then correct Flask Hider to Flash Hider in your title. I thought you wanted to discuss hiding whiskey flasks.

  28. I guess I am stuck in the 70s, I was thinking I paid about $250 for a S&W revolver back then. The new ones are way out of my price range.

  29. Ok, so they eliminated the lock. You still have a two piece barrel, MIM parts, a frame mounted firing pin plus the QC problems that have plagued S&W for the last 20 years or more. So what's the big deal? I do admit, I am digging the looks of the new Model 10. Damn fine looking gun there with some nice older features. Very nostalgic. But I already have several older Model 10s and M&Ps. I'll wait until they've been out for a while and get some real world reviews before spending any money.

  36. On the last head doctor visit I was shown the MRI taken that morning. The tumor is gone. I can't do much since the wife keeps the house cold. Only 2 places I can stay warm is the bathroom and bed. With the weight loss and chemo I stay cold all the time. I'm sleeping in fleece pants and flannel shirt, on an electric mattress pad set on 5 and under an electric blanket set on 3, sometimes I wake up cold and increase their heat. My son bought an electric heat throw on the first chemo treatment and it help a lot while taking the drugs. My hands stay white and cold, my feet stay cold.
