  1. I’ve decided to sell my Winchester Model 70 SUPER GRADE 7mm Magnum - W/Scope & Mounts, due to my inability to make myself take it to the woods. This rifle was setup with a Nikon Monarch UCC 3.5-10x50 scope, in Leupold mounts. There’s no bluing wear etc as it’s never been hunted, but having been shot to sight in it’s used.. so I’ll call it 98% condition. Absolutely a magnificent piece that I’ll never end up taking to the woods for fear of beating it up. $1500

  2. I wonder when AI will start getting hands correct? These are not too bad, but why is the girl being rescued wearing a fire fighter's glove on her left hand?

  4. This is my Springfield Armory Mil-Spec 1911 .45acp. Only had a few magazines through it since new. It is all stock , has the factory stainless steel barrel and parkerized finish, and comes with an extra set of Springfield Armory grips and factory magazine. It came in a factory cardboard box new but its lost in my attic. I am in Clarksville and can travel up to 50 miles to meet a well established TGO member to buy it. If I know you or have traded with you before then I could travel a bit farther to meet. $560. Thanks for looking.

  7. Stand by for date, original date won't work. So I want to put together a big event where we can all show off our bbq rigs, eat some good smoked meat, and bang some steel after the meal. I'll smoke ribs, chuck roast and a pig butt on the smoker. Feel free to bring sides and non alcoholic drinks to contribute. Open carry of fancy leather and engraved pistols is encouraged. Bring out your best. After a big meal of smoked meat and sides we can retire to the back field to bang some steel with pistol and rifle. Address will be posted at a later date or sent via PM. It's in Oliver Springs. Please no alcohol or drugs, they have no place around loaded firearms.

  8. Bump for a beautiful rifle ... but ... Kimber, if you really like it, use it! Quick story, my dad bought a beautiful new German made .300 Weatherby Mark V in 1967 for a hunt to Alaska that never happened. It sat in his gun cabinet sighted in but unused for 24 years until he passed in '91. My older brother got the Weatherby and hunted hard with it, with great success, from Ky to Colorado for the next 33 years. There are scuffs and dings on the stock, bluing rubbed thin on the barrel and bolt, that tell stories of many great hunts and downed game. I always thought he gave justice to a rifle that was built to hunt ... no matter how pretty it was.

  9. This is the bottom line right here. Safety is paramount. Legal or not, if you endanger others, you're wrong. 20 years or so ago I was at a group shoot up in Missouri. We were on one guy's private property and using a large hill as a backstop. One of the neighbors came over and complained that bullets were flying over his property and were dangerously close to his house. Frankly, we thought he was full of it and just wanted to be a PITA. That hill was huge, no way it didn't stop every round. But, just to be sure, one of our guys went over and took a look. 10 minutes later he came running back yelling "Cease Fire!" The bullets were ricocheting off that rocky hill and were indeed landing on this man's property near his house. There was never the slightest doubt among any of us. We immediately stopped shooting and never used that area as a range again. Safety has always got to be the first consideration.

  10. I could not agree more. I can see, however, that Plaintiff doesn’t even realize that Defendant isn’t even a member of this forum. She just found this thread in a google search and couldn’t help but sign up and jump in.

  14. Like new Canik TP9 Elite SC. Great ergonomic shooter and perfect for conceal carry. Shot about ~40 rounds through it before deciding it wasn't for me and opted for something smaller. Comes with three 12 round flush fit magazines with pinky rest, one 15 round extended mag, and all of the typical goodies a Canik ships with. Put $486 into it. My loss is your gain. Will also throw a box of CCI Blazer brass 115gr with purchase. Located in Fairview. Asking $380. Must be a resident of Tennessee, 21 years of age or older, eligible of purchasing a handgun, and able to sign a bill of sale. Would consider trading for the following: Tisas 1911 B9 Carry or Duty (single stack) 9mm M&P 2.0 full size 9mm, CZ P-10C 9mm (OR preferred) Savage Axis 2 XP (.223, .308)

  16. I have a 610 and a model 686-6 + with locks- I have had zero problems with either revolver and think I probably never will- I haven't actually talked to anyone that's had a problem so I kind of wonder if the whole lock thing is because of some butt hurt over the S&W caving into the feds a couple of decades ago-

  17. It's a start. I'm actually kinda digging the Model 10 Classic with half-moon sight, tapered barrel, pre-war style ejector rod, and smooth stocks. They are built on modern frames designed for the lock so they still look kinda goofy. I won't be a customer, but glad they are making them for those interested. Maybe it will start a trend of getting away from those locks. 19. Started watching Landman last night, and I'm really enjoying it. It's another Taylor Sheridan (Yellowstone) series, staring Billy Bob Thorton. Speaking of Billy Bob, his series Goliath from a few years ago was pretty good.

  26. Updated 12/13/2024. Just got a text from Kathy and Jim passed away this morning. AuEagle (Jim) has been fighting some serious health issues for the last year or so. He fell recently and broke his hip. He has not been able to bounce back from the fall and surgery with everything else going on. He went into hospice last week. He hadn't responded to my texts the last couple of days so I knew something was up. I just spoke to his wife this morning and he doesn't have long left. Please keep him and his wife Kathy in your prayers for a peaceful passing. Jim and I have been friends for many years and I was at his house just a couple of months ago. He told me then he was at peace and ready whenever God called him home. The fall was unexpected and basically just moved the timeline up some. It's been a tough couple of weeks. Another dear friend who was my office manager for years and a 2nd momma to me found out she had brain cancer 4 months ago. She went into hospice yesterday. I visited with her this morning. I am always amazed how fast an illness can move. This is a reminder to tell the people important in your life what they mean to you now. Things can change in the blink of an eye.

  28. The only reason the court is hearing the case is because he is getting money from Youtube videos. They could settle it by making his videos demonetised. This would preserver his First and second amendment rights. It would also circumvent the new county law that further restricted the state law that said this was not a public or commercial shooting range. So no case after that.

  30. I had the same problem about 15 years ago. Someone down the road was shooting and bullets occasionally bounced off my neighbor's house and mine. He found a .40 S&W bullet in his driveway. We called BCSO and an officer stopped by to talk to us. He told us to call anytime we heard gun fire. If they had someone available, they'd come investigate and let us know the results. Maybe a month or so later, the deputy stopped back by and told us he'd found the source and they were using an unacceptable backstop. They were required to correct the backstop. They did and it hasn't happened since. We still hear gun fire occasionally, so the shooting hasn't stopped. Every time I've been shooting on private property where houses are within earshot, a sheriff's deputy has come by to make sure we're being safe. Our interactions have always been pleasant.

  31. Maybe it would make more sense to just make a calm explanation of the situation. I think that most of us here are very interested in SAFE firearms use. I shoot on my own property, and so do some of my neighbors. But I definitely expect that my neighbors will be sure of where their rounds are falling, just as I am. It sounds like you have a legitimate concern, but stating that we should "fire on your neighbor" is gross hyperbole.
