Get pictures. Send them to everyone in TWRA, local law enforcement, and Fire department. Make sure his captain gets it. Post it on the fire departments facebook page. Any Facebook page for the local area. Have their truck towed if it's on your property. This is all assuming you have told them not to hunt your property. Cell cameras will be invaluable for this.3 points

22 LR, 6" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1948-made revolver that has matching numbers on the frame, barrel, cylinder, yoke, and extractor. The metal retains 97-98% of the original blue finish with some mild fading at the sides of the muzzle, along some of the high and exposed edges, and a light turn-ring at the rear of the cylinder. The hammer and trigger retain a commensurate amount of their original color case-hardening, with some very mild fading on the edges, and correct original sights are fitted. The lock-up is tight, and the action is fully functional. This is a splendid five-screw K-frame .22, and is in fine-near excellent condition overall. SOLD Thanks for looking2 points

I probably would too, but I wouldn’t be shooting .357s through it. In a small package like a Mdl 36, .38 spl is plenty. Even through a 3” .357 K-frame, most carry .38 rounds.2 points

Personally, would pick this instead: https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/26262/smith+%26+wesson+model+60+.357+magnum+2+1+8+stainless+5+shot2 points

The town the OP has in her profile has about 1300 people in it. This is also part of the problem. The guys probably have been coon hunting like this for 30 years. I think that's why involving people outside of the local area is a good idea. If they a buddies with the local TWRA officer, he will not want to lose his job. There are federal fish and game officers. That town is close to KY.2 points

Speak to an attorney. You know who this tresspasser is, a simple letter from an attorney might do the trick. I agree with what Alleycat wrote, too. Posting a picture on the FD's FB page will get the attention of the chief and the commissioners.2 points

Welcome to TGO. Have you been able to capture them on any of the cameras you mentioned ? If it were me I would obtain solid evidence of them trespassing then seek out a higher authority to plead my case. This may require you to spend more on cameras but well worth it if it's causing you this much grief. That's a lot of acreage to keep watch over, especially in the area you show to be in. Good luck and happy new year !2 points

Selling my Yankee Hill AR 15. Yes, they make full rifles. All Magpul everything including the ACS stock. I had the original quad rail swapped out for this slim Midwest industries Mlok rifle length. Vortex Strike eagle 1-6 is on a Burris PEPR QD mount and has all original box and paperwork. Less than 300 rounds, and it’s lived in a case. I would prefer to sell everything together and not break up the optic.1 point

I love Black Rifle's Beyond black, but it's high as a cat's back, so I usually drink Seattle's Best or McCafe depending on what's on sale...k-cups all the way for me. I'm such a coffee snob that I got to where I can't even stand the degraded taste of the 2nd cup from a pot of coffee, let alone the 3rd. So, I just do one cup at a time throughout the day.1 point

I’m wanting to add a ball head to my old death grip tripod. I’d like to be able to swap the saddle for a screw mount.. I see a few options out there, but then that lead to looking at new tripods in general. Anyone do any upgrades to the BOG tripod and have recommendations? If so let’s hear them.1 point

Don't have the BOG, I went with the Primos Trigger Tripod, but got this for it. Works pretty good with my PCP .22 rifle and backyard squirrels, but it feels hefty enough should take larger caliber as well.1 point

My daughter has had the same problem with hunters on her 89 acers. She has not given anyone permission. She has paid trail rides and has trails all throughout the wooded sections of her farm. In fact close to 4 miles of trails. She has seen spent shotgun ammo hulls all over her trails, but it seems to have stopped this year. The neighbors shooting once bother her horses, but they have shot so much, unless they are close by, the horses have gotten somewhat accustomed to the noise. Trespassing is a problem. She only has no trespassing signs up at her entrance gate.1 point

My favorite single handgun is my S&W Model 18 .22 revolver. This thing is just too much fun and goes along on every range trip. But arthritis in my hands is making centerfire revolvers hard for me to shoot these days. My favorite TYPE of handgun is the good old 1911. Any make, any model any caliber. It just fits me so well. Ok, for number 2, I'll go with the Hi-Power. Another gun that falls into my hand like it was made for it. My favorite 9mm.1 point

Bought new at Harveys pistol and pawn. This has been carried quite a bit, and has had 202 rounds fired through it. It has some honest holster wear but Zero issues and the tritium glows bright in the front sight. Fantastic little revolver, I've just decided I'd rather consolidate calibers for now. It comes in the orginal box, and includes 98 rounds of Lost River Ammo .32 HR mag full wadcutters, an American Fight Revolver pocket holster and an American Fighting Revolver appendix holster. $750 for everything. Thats around what I paid for the pistol, so you get both holsters and the ammo for free. The ammo was designed with this gun in mind, and the holsters are both fantastic pieces. Meet up local to Knoxville, or I'm driving down towards Harrison/Chattanooga tomorrow morning, Friday the 27th of Dec. And can meet along the way.1 point

Me (a Vandy fan) last night. The only thing as good as the rare Vandy win is a UT loss. I didn't think I'd ever pull for THE Ohio State University, but it finally happened.1 point

Unclear as to why you want to change calibers? What is the intended use? For everyday carry I would stay with the 9mm. If you can afford it, hang onto the 9mm as sell.1 point

Did you watch the video? Not really buying they were after his gun. So I should believe that the guys in the truck that had a gun already, targeted him by running him down with the truck and according to him he threw the gun away yet they chased him, shot at him to get his gun. He told someone that he thought they were after his gun. Umm you sure your buying that? I guess if thats all you can find sort of proves my point. lol1 point
-
Sorry there is no data showing this to be true. You may think that but that does not make it true. I have looked and I have asked this very same question here in the past. I can not find and no one can provide an example of an open carrying person to be the first target when things so south. For a criminal getting in a gun fight is the last thing they want. (Unless they are just there to kill everyone anyway) If a bad guy sees someone armed they are much more likely to go find a softer target than to just shoot at the guy with a gun to get him out of the way. That's why most all self defense classes teach to make yourself a hard target. Ever wonder why gun shops are hardly ever robbed? Most conceal carriers are not that concealed anyway. I spot them all the time printing or otherwise showing they are armed to anyone paying attention. There are plenty of good reasons to conceal carry but this is not one of them.1 point

Simple rule of thumb for me, if my gun is not welcome, I am not welcome. Same goes for my wife. let me explain that one, she is blind, has a guide dog and we have been turned away from many well known restaurants, such as TGIF, I do believe in talking to the owners and trying to convince them that no gun signs are a sign of magical thinking. I ask them, do you really think that your sign will stop a bad guy who is desperate from robbing you, or an ex from coming in and shooting one of your employees or customers? if they are honest, they say no, it wont. Then ask, do you think it would prevent me from eating here? spending my money at your establishment? I have been back ground checked, not a felon, and I carry for my protection and my family protection only. Do you have a problem with that? They will probably say no. I have seen signs come down here in OKlahoma because I asked these questions. One response I did get was "I have the signs up to get a 10% discount on my insurance" I now carry a little folder, with the red circle and line drawn through it with a tornado in the middle. I tell them this sign should get you another 10%, and it will be just as effective or even MORE effective than their no gun sign. We cant be silent, but we can be polite. You be the difference!!!!1 point

Now you can say you've seen one. Ultimately it comes down the motivation of an attacker, which is something entirely outside of our control, so we must instead modify our own target indicators to modify the attacker's selection process. Many criminals are doubtlessly deterred, at least temporarily, by open carriers (until the OC'er leaves). They are generally opportunists, and are also some of the most likely to be deterred by the mere presentation of a concealed pistol. Its the one that isn't deterred that is the problem. They will be much more willing to do violence from the onset, so why give them any edge?0 points
