  1. If you plan to buy a bit of ammo this year, this may be a deal to consider. Normally I dont do subscriptions, but could rationalize this one. TargetSportsUSA is offering a $50 gift card for signing up for their membership @ $99 and buying a case of ammo from a list of specified brands. This membership gives you 8% off and free shipping. The discount almost nets out the TN penalty. So after the gift card, you can make back the $49 membership cost diference pretty quick. Up till today there weren't any really good deals on the qualifying ammo brands. But they just put up some Blazer brass 9mm for an additional %12 off when doing the above, so drops it to $211 for 1000 before tax (free shipping). They email the electronic gift card after the transaction enters, so no real wait. At least that what happened for me.

  2. I probably wouldn’t get back online either if I created an illegal AOW and posted pics of it on the internet…without the birds head grip there no way it makes 26” overall

  3. No trypod is as accurate as a bench. We have killed coyotes at 500ish yards at night in Texas though.

  5. Winchester Model 1903 Rifle for sale. The Model 1903 is the first Semi-auto rifle made by Winchester Repeating Arms Company. They were made from 1903 to 1932. The first 5000 guns were made without a safety (no safety button) and were advertised as "automatics", but were semi-auto design. It is a blowback design with a ten round tube magazine. The serial number and consultation with the Winchester Arms Collector organization indicates this one was made in 1903. I got this from a Winchester collector in Cookeville, TN. It is in excellent condition. Buyer must be legal to own a firearm and willing to show ID for my records. Price is $1200 cash with pick-up in Manchester, TN. 7. Hey folks! I moved to Maryville earlier this year and finally got around to creating an account here. I love reloading and medium range shooting (someday I'll work up to actual long range), and I have a love of roller delayed guns, and general tinkering. I'm looking forward to some good discussion!

  14. That was my thinking. I have a bench for when I sight in my rifles but this will be nice when I just need to quickly check with a shot or 2 before I hunt after I travel. This saves me from having to bring the whole other setup which is more of a day of shooting type thing and takes up a ton more room in my truck in comparison.

  15. I have a Maverick 88 12ga with an 18 1/4" barrel and pistol grip. One-handed with slugs is a shade more than "invigorating"

  16. Staccatto trademarked the 2011. So they theoretically are the only 2011 makers, everyone else is a doublestack 1911. https://trademarks.justia.com/855/56/2011-85556563.html

  17. Thanks for the feedback. There’s a few pretty sweet deals going on right now with Christmas so I think I’m gonna try to get out this weekend and pick one up!

  18. I'm guessing budget cuts came into play. Networks are burning cash, and the talent density on Blue Bloods couldn't be cheap. I'm also wondering if all the older, conservative tilt of the audience limited advertising revenue to offset the costs of the show. Great ratings only matter if you can tell companies the people they want to buy their products are watching.

  19. Bump. FYI, someone on here was bugging me about finding it for cheaper somewhere else and how my price point would "make it hard to resell them in this economy". If that's you or your line of thought, keep walking. I am not here to facilitate your ability to maximize the value of these items. Also, good luck explaining to the alphabet boys your not-business strategy. And to boot, according to my research, you CAN'T find it cheaper anywhere else. Occasionally they show up on GB for less than $3K. These are extremely rare. And if you can find it IN STOCK cheaper somewhere else, I'll be happy to negotiate that with you. I am not unreasonable, but I am short on patience when it comes to the scheming little parasites in this community.
