  1. The feature of a removeable trigger module I like. Being able to swap out the grip for a different size or brand without having to go through an FLL is very convenient.

  2. Got drawn for a tag this year. Was hunting just outside Dayton in Rhea county. The birds were flying great this morning. We all limited out by 9. We would finished earlier if we didn’t suck at shooting. lol. You would think such a large bird would be easy to hit.

  3. I am putting my CZ 75BD (decocker) for sale. It’s like new. I put 32 rounds (2 mags) through it to make sure it functioned and it ran flawlessly. It also has after market grips which I like much better. It was to be my bed side pistol, but I have something else now for that. Comes with the box, two 16-round magazines, all the goodies, aftermarket grips and the original grips. Asking $525. For sale to Tennessee residents who can legally own a pistol. TN DL or HCP flash. Located in Nashville.

  4. Ended up with this on a trade deal, and thinking about moving it on. This serial numbers as S 1111xx, and from what research I've done, that would be a 1954, first year Highway Patrolman. It has some honest holster wear, and at some point has been ported, appears to be a Magnaport job but I don't know for sure. Grips are nice later Magnas, but are not the orginal diamond stocks. I haven't shot this one, lock up is good and tight and it has an excellent trigger like most old Smiths. Asking $950 in Knoxville, Oak Ridge, Lenoir City area. Trade interest would run towards a .44 mag or a nice pump or semi auto 12 gauge shotgun. I prefer wood stocks but I'm open to most stuff. Just let me know

  8. I don’t get the point of the removable trigger module. Everybody thought they were the future when Sig put it in the 320, but they seem kinda gimmicky to me.

  13. Glad to see more things going the route of modular with serialized FCU. Makes so much sense in a Glock with all their frame and slide combo variations. I bet Glock isn’t thrilled to see this! Reputable company making a quality piece at a substantial savings which is superior to the prior low end faux glock option. First real threat to Glock's sales.

  26. I haven't fired one but did get to handle, dry fire, and take the slide off of one and "look under the hood" yesterday. The range was busy, so just a quick look. It's very "Gen 3 Glock" like. The grip feels good to me, but I long ago shortened and modified my well worn G19 and this Ruger is very similar. The trigger is good for a Glock-like trigger, Smooth and no glitch, moderately short reset. ETA. I shoot factory Glock triggers fwiw. A lot of the parts looks interchangeable with Glock. I definitely like the sights. All metal instead of the Glock placeholders, good sized and clear to see with my aging eyes. Definitely like these sights. The slide has plenty of holes to accommodate a RDS. From what I've seen online with various RDS mounted there is a need for a quality adapter as the slide does not support a RDS fore and aft. (My slides are milled so I'm biased). Hopefully one will go into the rental rotation soon and I'll get to shoot one. It has potential. But I've been disappointed before LOL Time will tell.
