Today it is hard to say goodbye to the best little dog ever….Bella, our toy maltipoo crossed over the rainbow bridge yesterday afternoon after church. Sweet girl, you were such a good girl, and you will always be in our hearts. I know we gave you the best life we could, and had 15 long, wonderful years with you!! I can honestly say, I don't cry very much, but I cried hard last night. She was our first baby, and gave comfort on so many nights when things were rough, not to mention we grew up together. My wife and I were 21 when we got her, and she has been there through so many up and downs. Hug your pups extra tight tonight.8 points

A lousy plan that worked. He came in undetected, he eliminated his target and then he got away. His subsequent actions suggest prep, planning and purpose. While he is no James Bond, John Wick or Frank Moses, his plan succeeded. As far as not getting apprehended later....who knows.3 points

I’ve been rolling through his Twitter feed and I gotta tell you, do not believe the reports that are describing him as an “anti-capitalist leftist“ because they are way off base. His vastly critical of corporate power, but to conflate being anti-corporate monopoly with being anti-capitalist is disingenuous at best. I see no inherent conflict between being anti-government central planning of the economy and being anti-corporate Monopoly control of the economy. They’re both coercive authoritarian means of exploiting the wider population for the benefit of a relative few. it appears that he suffered a really gnarly back injury, and I would expect went more than a few rounds with his insurance. This seems personal as well as political.2 points

Someone wanted him caught. They maybe even paid him to be caught.2 points

He wanted to be caught. Otherwise that pistol would be at the bottom of the Hudson River.2 points

I'm not absolutely sure. I know the live ammo was marked, not sure about the empties. They're saying the words were written with a marker pen. Good chance it was wiped off the empty cases by being fired. Hell, we're four pages deep into this and the only thing anybody knows for sure is that CEO dude is dead. Everything else is just rumor and speculation.2 points

The video seems to show a Glock or similar running a suppressor minus a Nielsen device, which would cause the failure to cycle properly. I would pose the idea that maybe the shooter planned it exactly as it happened, opting to run a cheap burner/disposable setup with the minimum needed to do the task at hand. Glock with threaded barrel and an inexpensive suppressor minus the Nielsen device. It would also explain why he didn't seem ruffled by the failure to cycle. He may have practiced it and knew full well that the gun wasn't going to run smoothly and accepted that to keep things simple.2 points

I'm not sure if you are like me, but my favorite handgun I currently have is a Les Baer Mono, beautiful gun in every aspect and it shoots so smoothly. Since I prize this gun so much, I only take it out for special occasions. Not wanting to over use my favorite gun I bought a SpringField TRP and it has now become my second favorite and most used gun for me when I go out shooting. Are there people out there with the same mind set? If so, let us see what it is1 point

I love Sako's. That is why I bought this even though I don't shoot this caliber. Since I never shoot this I thought I would pass it on to someone who would actually use it. It is a 1967 L61R Sako Finnbear in 338 Win Mag. Overall it is in great shape. The bore is nice and shiny. Another reason I bought this is because it had all of the original paperwork from when it was first ordered. Just made it a little more cool in my eyes. It also comes with period scope bases and a box of Hornady Precision Hunter ammo. Not really looking for trades right now. $1000 $9001 point

It’s being reported that what I said they were going to find, was exactly what they found on him. A self manufactured weapon. “A ghost gun”1 point

Hmmm. It’s almost like he wanted to be caught. That, or he isn’t as smart as he thinks he is. you aren’t keeping a Station6 or VP9 in your pocket.1 point

Words or marks written with a Sharpie, if allowed to dry, will absolutely stay intact during firing. A lot of .38 Super shooters mark their brass with a Sharpie to know whose brass is whose.1 point

Paint them your self. Tons of videos on youtube or elsewhere that show the process. The spray part is easy. The quality of the finished job depends mostly on prep and finishing (wet sanding, cutting, buffing) anyway. From the work you have shown so far you are more than capable of tackling the job.1 point

For sale is a Kimber of Oregon model 82 that comes with the factory sights. This was a rare upgrade and an option that was normally reserved for the SuperAmerica guns. Gun comes with one factory magazine, and is a ‘one hole’ gun. I’ve shot it a few times and it shoots like magic. Makes somebody’s Christmas really special this year or just buy it for yourself… This is a collectible gun at an excellent price. It has beautiful wood with a few very slight safe bumps. Take this girl home today. Prefer a local meet at my office in Brentwood, or I do travel towards Smithville on the weekends. I would rather sell it here than at auction so I don’t have to ship it, but I’m not gonna give this one away. 1000 obo1 point

Any man who hasn't known the unconditional love and friendship of a dog is missing out on one of God's greatest creations. I'm sorry for your loss.1 point

I took care of mine about 3 years ago, I do my best to stay in the BBT Bad Santa spirit 365 days a year.1 point

Since the live ammo found was marked with "deny," "defend" and "depose", there's some speculation now that the rounds were dropped on purpose to spread the message.1 point
