  1. Selling this wonderful commander size Ed Brown Alpha carry. Looked for an Ed Brown for a long time and finally found one and unfortunately I need to recover some funds from a recent major purchase. Unsure of the round count but it's got to be pretty low, this gun shows basically now wear. At most you can see some slight wear on the high parts of the ambidextrous safeties. Has night sights but they are pretty dim. Two sets of grips, the ones pictured and then a set of solid black frag pattern. Comes with the original EB mag, two new EB mags and a new Kimber mag, EB bag and bushing tool. Feel free to PM with any questions. Not really looking for trades but might consider a commander or officer 1911 plus cash. $2400

  2. Those people are so full of ! Why are they so focused on the gun? If you watch, the shooter uses a standard hand over rear of slide to cycle the gun. The gun is obviously some type of standard 9mm with a suppressor. Is there not one real gun expert available to them? And what Veterinarian uses a 9mm? I guess they need to fill time with something since the cops can't find the shooter.

  3. Both. United Health Group had a net profit last quarter of $8.7B. Last year they paid investors $14.8B in dividends. They deny 1 out of 3 claims.

  4. I agree there are large piles of sewage in the health insurance industry but that doesn't justify execution. I've threatened our insurer with a malpractice suite on occasion for denying my meds. When you have a doctor somewhere I've never been whom I've never seen nor spoken to deciding my doctor I see regularly doesn't know what I need, I consider that malpractice. The threat always gets approval within the day.

  5. S&W Model 28-2 .357 Highway Patrolman 4", pinned barrel, recessed cylinder, original diamond magna grips serial numbered to gun's serial number. Tight lock-up and a great shooter. $1000 firm on this one FTF Murfreesboro

  6. $900 $800 The biggest one they make. 6 inch barrel, double stack 10mm, 16 round capacity. This is in the Pro line, which is Rock Island’s custom shop, so gunsmith built, not factory assembled. Surprisingly easy to shoot, probably because it’s not exactly light, but it sure is fun. would also consider trades on a quality AR or AR upper

  7. I don’t think so. Do you? I expect you’d have more knowledge about modern stuff than I do, but I expect he used a modern 9 with a threaded barrel and can, and didn’t restoring it for subsonic ammo, therefore racking the slide after each shot to ensure he had a live round in the chamber for subsequent shots.

  10. That is exactly what I used to think. I have been having some health issues for the last 6 months. My doctor has been sending me to an IV clinic for 4 hours of IV's with a nurse checking on me every 30 minutes. I just got a bill last week. One week of IV treatment cost $63,000.00. United Healthcare negotiated my bill down to about $25,000.00 and paid it in full. My cost was $0. Now, who is trying to rip me off, United Healthcare or the medical provider.

  16. Up for grabs is a Cz75 compact. Full length steel frame with rail. If you know anything about these guns you know they don't come with full steel rail cut frames. Definitely a rare gem. Research leans towards these being a special order for an overseas contract that fell through and made its way to our shores. B elieve it to have a trigger job with straight blade trigger. Sweet shooter, I just don't need 2 Cz75's as I also have a P01 omega that I carry. Comes with 2 mags Sorry,I don't have the case. $675 May trade towards AK rifles.

  18. Small HF trailer. Never used on the road. Fenders, lights & chains are all brand new, never installed. All hardware is included. 1-⅞" hitch I've used this for 2 seasons as a deer/gear hauler on the back of my bike. There are a couple of tiny scuffs, but it's essentially brand new. Save $100 + tax over HF & you don't have to bolt it all together! $300 Sled NOT included.

  20. The assassin was not new to guns. He cleared the malfunction smoothly, and did so what appears to be several times, while closing the gap and continuing to put rounds into the victim. I work with my church safety team, and help lead range sessions, and I see people's own OODA loops get screwed up badly when we either intentionally introduce a malfunction or they suffer one out of sheer bad luck. If you don't practice malfunction drills, you don't look like this guy did.

  21. Definitely not a Station6. There is more involved with chambering a round than he did. Also with at least the first shot, you can see the blowback gas escape from the top when the slide comes back. The station6 is a bolt action so there is blowback gas. I pro would have walked closer him to shoot. And probably would not have left the witness.

  23. Health insurers remove executive bios, images from websites after UnitedHealthcare CEO killing | Healthcare Dive So... I get why they would do this, but it is an absolute exercise in futility because countless cached copies of those websites exist on the Internet. Archives like Wayback Machine index websites on a regular basis and keep a snapshot of the site contents available. These archives are pretty easy to use and are accessible to anyone and everyone. As they say, the Internet has a long memory.

  26. And they wonder why people don't watch their network or believe what they report anymore. If they had a single gun guy or gal on staff watching the video, they could have pointed out definitively that it was NOT a veterinary gun used in the shooting. But I hope they never get a "firearms expert" on staff as their conjecture is amusing for the rest of us. How is CNN still a "news" network?

  28. Do the infrared heaters use any more juice than anything else?
    1 point
  29. Look for a fair priced "75 to 100" dollar electric infrared heater. Infrared heater will send the heat across the room better than a cal-rod type heater.

  30. The little $20 ceramic heaters amaze me. I wouldn’t be without a couple of them although they seldom get used. I bought a $200 infrared heater at Ace Hardware once when our central unit went out on Christmas, and it’ll heat our entire house. I’ve no idea about the one in the OP.

  31. No picture or URL so I don't know which model you're looking at. For good heating in a space that size, I'd prefer an oil-filled radiator. They take a few minutes to warm up, but are good for long-term heating needs. The little ceramic heaters heat up faster and are more portable, but mine don't heat a large room very well.

  32. It's a great hobby. There are so many directions you can go the possibilities are endless. Here is a graphic of the contacts that I literally talked to just in November. Most were done on a single 73 foot wire I have 25 feet horizontal in the air at my house. But several were done with a 17 or 25 foot whip antennas from my truck. I used radios costing anywhere from $400 dollars up to over $5k. One of my furthest contacts was on the $400 radio.

  34. I found a Yaesu VX-5R Triband setup for what seems like a reasonable price, so I’m thinking hard about buying that. I also found an online study resource with an app that syncs across my iOS devices, so I’m slowly getting serious about my license. I may never get to my dream radio shack setup, but I’m close to actually getting a license and a handheld, LOL.

  36. Providers say they inflate their prices to account for the payors negotiating down the price. Then they should explain why self-insured patients pay the highest price of all for services. It sounds to me like buying a new car from the stealership, only a fool pays sticker price instead of negotiating. On an unrelated note: I work for a very close competitor of UHC. We had a virtual town hall meeting today and the CEO of our Fortune Top 20 company didn't speak. Her mouthpieces told us to avoid saying anything to defend our industry because it might make us a target of violence. In fact, they asked us to stay off social media altogether for the next week or so and that all communications will be scrutinized carefully by AI for the next few months. They offered counseling for anyone suffering from anxiety over our competitor's CEO's the murder. Then in the same breath they said don't worry, it's still perfectly safe to go into the NYC offices and all other sites.

  37. 1990 model JM Marlin. Seems like I always carry my other more well used Marlin 35 into the woods so I decided to let this one go. Scoped has been swapped since pictures for a 1.5x4x20 Leupold VX Freedom. Mount is a DNZ Gamereaper. I will take $1100 for everything or bare gun for $900. Limited trade interest would be older hunting rifles like Remington 700 bdl's, Sendero ect.. in non magnum calibers, Ruger m77 especially bolt paddle stocks, something in 280AI or 7mm-08 with threaded barrel, nice optics, JM Marlins ?? I'll try to get some new pics tonight after we get back from Thanksgiving with the family

Can show you the price tag on photos via text. $1399 new plus another $175 for the threaded barrel. Has little character mark on one side of the rail from a light that was installed. More pics available via text. This Legion, 9mm is an amazing buy. It is for sale or possible trade. Cash is $925, trade is value for value. High end colts, sigs, smiths, lever actions and revolvers catch my eye. Must be a TN resident and legally able to own a firearm. Text is responded to faster. 615-504-1491
