I love compensated guns. When I saw Colt decided to drill ports into the Anaconda, I knew I end up with one. And here it is. I will say I am impressed with the build quality they are now delivering. Some may recall the Anaconda I had posted here a year ago or so which had to go back home for timing and barrel cant corrections. Colt did a fantastic job taking care of it, but left me of the opinion that they still had production bugs to work out. Happy to report this Kodiak is perfect in every way. Not only is the build quality spot-on, but the action is even a little slicker than the Anaconda's was. Very much looking forward to seeing how it shoots

For sale -- nice condition Swiss K31, 7.5 Swiss, with original sling, original bayonet, and two original stripper clips. Matching serial numbers on bolt and receiver date this gun to 1940. Also ask about item or category coverage limits for your homeowners. A minor gun/art/jewelry/instrument/tool collection will likely exceed the coverage limit for those and require a separate policy if you want them insured for full value. Make sure they explain "replacement value" coverage limits. For example... A 2000sqft house burns to the point where it's better to bulldoze it and start over. Building a modest house will cost $200/sqft so $400k. Does the policy cover clearing the site ($25k)? Is that cost included in the total number? If not, then you only have $375k left to replace your $400k house. What about the stuff inside (see above)?

@DL126 I can help you out with this one. I'm not saying I'm a relationship expert, but hear me out. You already know the seed has been planted and you need this rifle. What you need to do is go ahead and buy this rifle from me and a new gun safe too. You can wrap a couple of bows on these items and give them to your wife as an early Christmas gift. I'm sure she wouldn't mind if you had to sell a few of her things that she really doesn't need, like purses, shoes, etc.. in order to make a little space for the new safe and CZ rifle. Once she sees how much you were thinking of her she won't even notice her things are gone.

It's a good looking revolver. Ports should help a bit with recoil. Hopefully it shoots accurately for you. I like to see Colt releasing new products, especially revolvers.

Here's a pic of my meager Colt collection. I'm afraid that they only pic of the Python I have currently. That's it at the top. I hear ya about the S&Ws. I have a safe full of 'em and there ain't a single lock in the bunch. I only have one with any MIM parts. S&W ain't what they used to be.
