  1. Engraved Smith & Wesson Pre-Model 18 22lr for sale. This is a gorgeous piece of functional art. Engraver unknown but the work is well done. Gun is in wonderful shape for a gun over 60 years old. Lovely piece to add to your collection. Local pickup at my Brentwood office or I can ship at your expense since I have a C&R FFL. Gun is also listed on the SW Forum, but I wanted to list it here as well for my Tennessee brethren. 1700.00 Rick

  3. Goodmorning folks. Sorry I haven't checked in lately. Overall, I'm reasonably Ok. Finished cardiac rehab in one piece. Now in physical therapy for my back. This week winds that up. Hasn't helped much. Probably will have to do the shots. Remains to be seen. Have difficulty walking. Legs weak & short of breath. Using a cane to help out..Finally swallowed my ego & got a handicapped placard. As the song said, Im doing pretty good for the shape I'm in. LOL. Hope all you folks are doing well. FYI, spare parts are hard to come by for old folks. See ya, ........

  4. HK SP5K with 2 30 rnd mags and extra threaded barrel for sale. Excellent condition with hardly any use. Has been a true safe queen. What you see is wha you get. I can’t locate the bungee cord sling or the manual, but that’s easy to get. These are ‘made in Germany’ quality. If you know, you know. Comes with threaded barrel and extra handguard. Barrel must be installed by an armorer. Priced accordingly at 2200.00 Local pickup at my Brentwood office. Possible meet towards Cookeville on weekends. Don’t miss this chance. My reputation and feedback speak for themselves. Rick

  5. Does anybody in Memphis have access to a person who would be willing to put their name on the line to be a named plaintiff in a suit against Memphis over the recent ballot measure? I need that person to NOT have a permit to be most effective. I will be signed on as my statue as West TN Director of the TFA gives me standing under 39-17-1314, but I need a plaintiff so that the courts can not dismiss due to lack of harm. Contact 731-217-0134.

  7. If my grandson (9yrs old) wanted to get into any kind of rimfire competition and he tightened up his groups with his Rossi Bravo and my 15-22 to the point a better rifle was needed, I'd go straight for a CZ 457. I've been wanting one for years, but I can't outshoot my existing rifles, so I haven't bothered.

  8. I picked this up at a pawn shop several years ago. I put it in the safe and then take it out and admire it monthly. It seems to me to have never been used or carried. It is a "First Production Run" If that is worth anything to you. Has the black and brown handles and a molle sheath. With box. This is a nice knife, I'm pricing it at 120$. Its just what it is worth to me. Meet in South Nashville near Nippers Corner, not interested in shipping or trades.

  17. Wanted to thank a member for the private message that the owner of shootingtargets7.com gave a shoutout to my post in his weekly email. I’ve actually supported him on another forum and he thanked me then as well. Clearly someone that cares about their small business. I wrote in past posts I go out of my way to support small businesses, give a vet trying to make it in a tough industry top consideration when purchasing steel. They’re built to last. Don’t order from a corporation, give your money to people who actually support your 2A values.

  21. My students always sit down and go through "thorough" safety training, and gun manipulation, before any live fire takes place. Usually takes about an hour with families and 30 to 40 min with individuals. We start live fire with a 22 LR revolver and 22 semiautos then work up in caliber, but don't go over short time with a 38 Spl or 9 MM for first few times. Just want them to feel the recoil from traversing upward in calibers. I feel they need to go home and think about their experience, and then have a good first time out. Always stress they need safe practice upon safe practice afterwards, should they choose firearms ownership. They need to handle the chosen handgun until it is almost like an extension of their hand while always thinking basic safety when the pick it up. I have found most people will not be like the majority here on this forum. It cost a lot to get proficient, as most here know. Depends how proficient they want to become. Gun ownership doesn't make you a proficient shooter. It takes "Time", "Practice", and lots of "Money" now to arrive there. I will submit a few have purchased a gun, and the first time they pick it up use it to "successfully" protect themselves without a lot of training. I wouldn't want to face that myself, so I stress safety and practice with your final choice.

  22. For sale is my M&P 9mm FDE Vtac Special Edition w/ threaded barrel. Great series 1 gun that runs great suppressed. 23. I picked this up from a member over the past weekend. The tube only held 5 rounds and one in the chamber. There is a MOD you can do by cutting the mag spring, I did not want to mess with a good part that you can not buy. I put mag extension tubes on most of my pump shotguns so I had a few springs laying around. Looking at the extry springs I found a OEM Mossberg was the correct compressed length but was short on uncompressed length. So carefully I stretched a few on the coils so it is the correct length and have enough power to push all the shells out. Now I can load 5 in the tube, "ghost" load 1 on the carrier and 1 in the chamber. Next is a birds head grip, pics in a few days.

  24. I shoot the CCI Quite in my old pump actions and it is super quiet. Definitely quieter than a pellet gun. With a can it’s stupid quiet.

  25. My father bought this new in 2002 and has had it till my son bought it this past year as his first car. It has 213000 miles and is still mechanically solid. $5000 Nashville area. The Bad: It's older and has a few dings, specifically in the driver door, rear bumper, and a crack across the windshield. The check engine light is on due to the O2 sensor. Interior is good but is starting to get thin. It's 22years old! The Good: It has new front and rear brakes, new front end including suspension. It was re-painted white (factory color) this summer, new headlights, and new front bumper. Toolbox is in decent shape and everything works. It's a solid work, utility, towing V8 Toyota.

  28. I don’t worry too much about selling them. I’ve got 3 kids and 6 grandkids that know the combination to my safe. They have laid claims to most everything in there. That lets me justify keeping them and the wife don’t fuss as much. I do regret selling every car I’ve ever sold. I’m 66 and my first car was a 1964 impala SS. Probably worth $50,000 today.
