I had to live in Illinois for a couple years recently. No one was enforcing any of that crap. The sheriff’s came out and openly said that they would not be enforcing any of the ban bull.3 points

Ruger 4.25in 1911. I bought this unfired from a fellow member a couple of years ago and have shot 35 rounds through it. It is a great gun, but I just don't see myself shooting it any more, as I am transitioning to all striker-fired pistols. It has a great trigger and well, it's a classic .45 ACP 19111. Comes with the box, a carrying case, two 7-round mags and I will through in a 1911 Left-handed kydex holster if you want it. Asking $850. I live in Hermitage but I'd be willing to drive a little bit on a pretty day. TN driver's license required to purchase.2 points

I was not needed to haul anything to the warehouse in East TN. They limited hard goods to one truck and trailer load and cut it off when they were full. They collected a little over 2,500.00 which they purchased many personal toiletry needs which is what the people in E TN requested. Also had a trailer load of winter coats, bed linens, and winter clothes. I sent 4 jackets and 4 flannel shirts along with a donation. I feel sorry for those people and right here at Christmas time to boot.2 points

Burris Fullfield II 4.5 x 14 x 42 scope in like new condition. Ballistic Plex reticle. Burris forever warranty. I bought 2 of these from Amazon . I put one on a Ruger American and the other on a Ruger 10/22. I decided the scope looked too large for the 10/22 and removed it and replaced it with a 2 x 7 x 33 compact scope. Scope still looks brand new. No ring marks or scratches. Located in Lenoir City. These are $189 at Amazon. Reduced $100.1 point

The only good thing as of now for the 2A in TN is that Nashville may be capital, but it doesn't control the legislature.1 point

I don't remember, it was one of the first targets on the new range 9 years ago, but I did a quick Look on Amazon and this looks like what I have https://www.amazon.com/The-Last-Stand-Target/dp/B00JVX4JB8/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF81 point

You build as time and money allows. I had a much smaller rang at my old house, what few targets I had were the start of this range. It took a couple years to get to this state. The top targets are only about 35 yards from the shooting deck and I can get about 60 yards from the portable shooting bench. I have a public range about 15 miles away for longer distances and really noisy shooting. I'm still mostly on original steel because I try to minimize really high velocity stuff that would damage the steel, partially because of the distance and I want to stay a good neighbor. If I shoot the big loud stuff like .223/5.56/30-30, I try to limit to 10 or less rounds to zero in a scope or site. I replaced the green targets to the left of the top targets when I hit it with .223 remembering it as AR500 steel and it wasn't and almost put holes all the way through. I replace with AR500 steel. I replaced a couple of my early steel targets with thicker when they started to get a little dished. You may not be able to tell but one of the yellow targets part way up is a spinner that a friend made for me. I have thought about asking him to make a couple more. And the big red target to the far right is a spinner with an inner spinner, it is fun to try and spin the inner and not the outer. I have one spot part way up that needs a target but haven't seen what I want yet. I'm thinking another target within a target so you can tell when you hit where you should but still get feedback for near missis. Took me awhile to find good target paint, was just buying cheap stuff and the coverage was bad. Then I found https://www.rangestore.net they have target paint that has more pigment and it covers better, Not cheap but goes further. If you get one of there sampler packs it lets you try a few colors. I ended up splitting a couple of cases of the colors I liked with my son to get the cheaper price.1 point

Grunt 67, I had a heart attack on April 15. Went to Acencion ST Thomas Rutherford and they put 2 more stints in (total 11 now) and cleared a blood clot that blocked my "windowmaker" 100 %. My cardiologist is at St Thomas West in Nashville. I was lucky to get through it. I did the rehab, and it really helped me. I am now having difficulty with stamina. Can only work hard for a couple hours, maybe 3. Takes days to get over the heavy exercitation. Being 76 has some to do with it, however I can really tell a difference after the attack. My daughter has a horse farm, and I go out and help her sometimes. Usually finished in 3 hours and really exhausted for the rest of the day. I feel good and have no heart pain so consider myself lucky to still be here. I give God all the credit for showing mercy to me, and my wife, and allowing me to still be in this realm. I very well could have entered the next realm on April 15th. I am one of God's faithful followers. I have put my faith in His Son Jesus and believe he will do what He has told us in the pages of the Bible. I have accomplished the thing I need to do to put myself into a position to be able to take advantage of God's saving grace through faith in Jesus. Guys, believe me, you should do it also. Our time here is limited. We are not meant to stay in this realm forever. Please I urge you to prepare yourselves.1 point

I also use https://shootingtargets7.com for probably 90% of my steel and would probably go 100% now. I had a few targets before I found shootingtargets7. I color code my targets since the thick steel doesn't ring well when hit with a .22. My Red targets are .22 only, Yellow is for handguns and carbines, Green is for pretty much anything I own. Obvious all of them can be used for .22. I have a hill going up into a thick forest behind the house so my range is scattered on the hill and form a natural backstop. I shoot from my back deck, so I'm shooting down at the closer targets plus all of them are tilled to deflect down. I find the rubber mulch that Aldi's puts on sale most every spring to be good cover for under targets. This is my 10 yard target. I know it seems close but I'm probably 10 feet or more above the target. This is my longer targets. These pictures were taken about 4 years ago so the trees have grown up a lot. I have to keep up with the trimming. I also have a place for paper targets beside the 10 yard target and at the upper Green targets for zeroing in site. I have a portable shooting bench I can setup down the drive away to get longer shots to the upper green targets but seldom us it. I also have a rimfire dueling tree that I bring out once in awhile. Hope this gives you some ideas, feel free to ask questions.1 point

https://shootingtargets7.com I’ve found this site to be the best. Small and vet owned, sends an email only once a week with something heavily discounted. I shop around a lot. Dragon targets has some decent deals every now and then. With all of this stuff getting free ship is the priority. I have not yet bought this from Dragon Targets, looks fun and like the modularity hoping it goes on sale for a holiday and then will buy (if you don’t care about buying “Halloween targets” for Christmas they’ll drop the price drastically after they do special runs). https://dragontargets.com/dragon-targets-tin-can-alley-target-set/?srsltid=AfmBOorWpnz1BKdQf_YvaWmbwWYjs5IuFXKBnWdOtDd08qAR8pe-3FNg I follow spec on all the ratings and my targets are all a few years old and no pitting. Just need to remind people not to shoot rimfires with anything but .22. I’ve had good luck with the self healing hangers and just use tposts. Have used conduit and tones scraps in a pinch but those are more temporary. People swear by fire hoses as well. Also stick welded some conduit just for s&g’s that are small ground level targets, rods I used weren’t right for application but have held. https://www.sbyproducts.com/product/fire-hose-roll-1-5-diameter-2-5-flat-/26?cs=true&cst=custom - good reviews.1 point

To those of you saying, "I dont open carry because.......," I don't think you're considering about people going hunting/camping/hiking, where you're not so much in the public eye. Also, in today's current overall situation, I say it's safe to assume every person around you has a firearm, regardless if you can see it or not.1 point
