  1. I got this one last week, S&W 17-6 22lr 6" Full Lug Bbl. Orginal Box. I'm not sure about the Grips, it has a set of Target Stocks, but every other one I've seen has had the Combat Grips. Here's some pictures.

  7. Recently changed my carry gun so I’m moving a few that aren’t in the rotation anymore. This thing is a sweet shooter, super smooth action. Has some carry wear on the frame but nothing major. Barrel has some normal external wear as well. Slide to frame is nice and tight. Serial number puts this gun around 2004 from what I can tell. Frame is Made in Germany. Night sights are visible in the dark but are pretty dim. Great shooter, classic quality P229. Comes with an Sig box and 3 factory 13rd mags. Has updated E2 grips installed as well. What you see is what you get. SOLD $500 cash FTF in Spring Hill/Franklin No trades

  13. Memphis voters will be voting on a gun control referendum which the Election Commission says is causing problems as it too long. This thing will cover two full pages on the voting machines and could take voters up to 20 minutes to read. The State has already said its invalid and illegal, but a judge ruled that the voters get to express their opinions. We already know the lines will be long and voting will take time. But this BS adding an extra 20 minutes to the process could cause voters to get angry with long lines and waits. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/city-s-gun-control-referendums-stretch-over-2-pages-on-ballot/ar-AA1skxJf

  18. These are great little guns. A miniature 1911 and carried cocked and locked. The locked breech design makes recoil easily manageable and a great SA trigger. I have two of 'em.

  19. I recently within the last 6 months took on a Ruger SFAR in .308- I didn't know at that time how much I would enjoy shooting a larger caliber AR- But I like it plenty-

  21. So I was installing a water line today at a very old, backwoods house and dug up something intresting. Its an 1851 Colt Navy pattern cap and ball. I disassembled it to a degree at lunch, it is complete except for the grips. Just thought Id share the coolest thing I ever dug up. My guess is its a reproduction, but not sure how to tell. It was a good 2 ft in the ground. Tapatalk ate my spelling.

  25. I am sure they want to avoid the overt hypocrisy not conceding would show. She may not want to, but they must in order to keep the illusion up for their followers. The curated statements are probably taking longer to craft than expected. The Trump win means the country is not as delusional as they originally thought, so they have to come up with some new spin.

  31. Springfield Armory M1A SOCOM II (discontinued in name only) set up in a Tanker configuration before their Tanker existed, including NM trigger pack and op-rod. Also comes with over 10 mags fully loaded (I think it's actually 13 total), mil-surp cleaning kit, Sadlak oversized mag release paddle, sling, wooden stock, synthetic black stock, and an UpLula mag loader. Very accurate, handy rifle. One of my favorites. $2700. Not interested in trades. I hate to let this one go but I have not had a good year job-wise and I never shoot it. Call/Text 615-300-3074 or send me a DM.

  33. I just dug my Gen 1 out of the safe. It is stamped 5.56 NATO not .223, on the barrel.

  34. Hey, just be aware that the Gen1 (don't know about the gen2) in .223, IS actually chambered in .223. Not 5.56 or .223 Wylde. If you're wanting to shoot heavier bullets (62gr+) you might run into problems with loaded ammo jamming into the lands. Even though they're a 1:8 twist, Ruger told me that they're chambered for common 55gr ammo. I bought mine specifically to shoot 77gr Sierra TMKs & loaded at 2.26" I was jamming them ⅛" into the rifling! I ended up having the chamber re-cut to .223 Wylde & it'll put 10 into a very sexy little 1" dot now.

  35. So I pulled this out of the shoebox it has rested in for the last 11 years today. I put it in a vinegar bath, so I may be destroying a priceless relic, but I wanna know what it is. Once I get the rust off and get it freed up, Ill probably oil, add grips and hang it in my study as a conversation piece. Ill update as we go.
