2 feet deep next to an old house. I dug this up 11 years ago instslling a waterline. Lost interest and time after awhile and left it in a box in the top of the closest. My boy found it the other day and i thought it might be a good time to clean it up and see if i can figure out what it is and what its worth once and for all. Might even have something worth a bit of cash to turn into a new .357 or .44 lmao2 points

So I pulled this out of the shoebox it has rested in for the last 11 years today. I put it in a vinegar bath, so I may be destroying a priceless relic, but I wanna know what it is. Once I get the rust off and get it freed up, Ill probably oil, add grips and hang it in my study as a conversation piece. Ill update as we go.2 points

I'll let the pros do it this time. It's definitely going to be cheaper!2 points

Purchased this about a year ago for a build that never happened. Kept it thinking I would use it, but my tastes go more towards AR SBR, so imagine how this would look on one of those. Decided today Ill likely never use it, so its up for sale. Included is a Warne Mount for rail. Located in Bartlett, unable to travel now, but may later in month Thanks for Looking...1 point

Up for sale is a really nice 22lr CZ 457 MTR with a 21inch x .9 inch threaded (1/2x28) Lilja match barrel Shim kit included The stock is refinished with Tru oil and has hardware installed for ARCA rail if desired. Area 419 bolt knob Kss thread on tuner (works great) The trigger has been reworked and currently breaks around 6 oz 1- 10 Rd magazine included This rifle is a really good shooter. I just don't shoot it enough to justify keeping it. Sold Pick up is in the Spring Hill / Franklin area. You must prove you are a Tennessee resident of legal age to purchase this rifle.1 point

I can't bring myself to call this a safe. It's a locking storage cabinet and was all I needed since it was in the house and bolted down. I believe it is a StackOn. It is 18"x21"x55". Comes with a dehumidifier (wire through the top) and a battery powered, motion activated, LED light bar. $100 in the Mt. Juliet area.1 point

Who’s running the clock in the TN game? I hope they get it together during halftime. Hope the Vols get it together as well. It’s like they’re bedazzled or mesmerized by KY’s mirrored hats.1 point

I txt'd a couple of friends from my living-in-Huntsville days. One is an Auburn grad, one a huge Bama fan. "Does today's game mean Vandy is this year's Iron Bowl champion?"1 point

I am a huge fan of the LaRue MBT and own several. They aren't quite as cheap as they were a few years back but still an excellent value. Lots of folks like the Geiselle triggers, I have used a couple of their models and they are excellent, but going to be priced higher than the MBT.1 point

Most folks generally love the 2S. I've heard many say its on-part with the SSA-E. And it's extremely unpopular not to rave about them, similar to all things Ed Brown (as I found out). I have a couple of them. I tried the first one. I did not find that one on-par with my SSA-E's. It's fine. It's less than $100, and I think that helps the opinions. Production variation possibly, I understand some can take break in. Absolute improvement over milspec, good price point for a quality made product. Maybe a hair over-hyped (flame suit on) compared to the benchmark triggers folks like to compare it to. I'd say buy the SSA-E during the blem sale or the super sales Geissele occasionally has. Black Friday is coming.... they will likely be around $135ish. Worth it IMO. I admit, I am a trigger snob. All that said, I know where you can get a deal on a MBT-2S. Only installed one and dry fired a few times1 point

You folks never met my Mom. She loved Christmas and the lights more than anything. My brothers wife is the same way. When mom had to move in with them Christmas started before Thanksgiving and he got a double dose. As a matter of fact he sent me a picture last week and his wife already had 2 trees up. You all pray for him. Lol.1 point

Looking to sell or trade my G3 rifle. These are built by PTR with Portuguese FMP kits that are brought in by Century. The rifle comes with a surplus German sling that has seen better days, and 12 mixed steel and aluminum magazines. I put 40 rounds through this rifle with no issues. Looking to sell for $900 for everything, or trade for a Zastava M77, or M1A (plus boot on my end), or milsurp that catches my eye. Knoxville area meet. Reduced to $850.1 point

While I'm not a fan of Christmas, it's been clear since my childhood putting decorations is a post Thanksgiving meal (and booze) activity. Those who practice should respect traditions.1 point

This evening I walk out into my front yard and see that one of my neighbors down the street already has their yard all lit up with Christmas decorations. WTF! Halloween was yesterday, Thanksgiving is in 4 weeks and they're already pushing Christmas?!! I'm nowhere near ready for this crap.0 points
-
My wife was so picky about how the tree went up, where the decorations go, and how they're packed away when it's over that nobody wanted to help her put it up or take it down anymore. So, she had to do it by herself and suddenly she realized what a job it is. The last time she put up our tree was 2020 and she never took it down. LOL0 points

its on my street, but the next block over. I only noticed because it was dark and they have the entire yard lit up. So I guess (hope) there isn't much chance of the contamination spreading any time too soon.0 points

The unspoken rule of Christmas season starting November 1st seems to have affected your neighbor. I'd suggest a quarantine around the perimeter of your house before it gets too crazy. The Christmas spirit is very infectious and most people are likely to have fallen victim by it. If you start hearing Mariah Carey singing, I'm afraid it may be too late...0 points
