Got m'seat back! Battery's mounted up, moved the reg/rec (I wasn't happy with it hanging below the frame) fabbed up the license plate mount, made a pair of correctly sized rear wheel spaces & started working on routing (mentally) my wiring. To do list: Mount up oil & neutral lights (micro leds) License plate light Front wheel spacers (and maybe a fork brace) Mock up front brake hose & routing Re-route throttle & brake cable (I'm 99% sure I can get both in the handlebars) Mount ignition & light(?) breakers. Then I can pull it apart for paint & powder. I'm hoping to have all that done today (I'm still officially on vacation. Wyoming was a bust so I came home a week early) I still have to get all my stainless bits Tig welded (Handlebar risers, gear shift etc...I'm not good enough to do it myself)3 points

I'm selling my Beretta 92FS Inox "ghost" variant. According to Beretta, it was built in October 1995. 9mm, great condition, original box and manual, 2 original 10 shot magazines, and two aftermarket 15 round magazines (one is marked 15 rounds and is a Ram Line, the other isn't marked). Very clean and well cared for. I actually traded for it on this forum back in 2011. I'm sure I put far fewer than 400 rounds thru it. It looks like only the aftermarket mags have been used as the original SS mags still look almost new. The "ghost" variant has stainless steel guide rod, mag release, breakdown lever, trigger, safety/decocker, slide release, and hammer. The serial number hasn't been tampered with but is partially covered with tape in the photos. The reason for selling is because I'm not shooting 9mm much these days and have my eye on a gun for steel challenge (.22). So, no trades please. If you search completed auctions for "92FS ghost" on GunBroker, these have sold for $800 to $1700. All but one or two have gone for $1000+. I've enjoyed owning it, it's a great shooter, but it's time to move on. Asking $900. I would ask that I see your TN carry permit and I'll show you mine. Willing to meet around Knoxville/Maryville/Oak Ridge area.1 point

For Sale: Czech Vz-24 Rifle in 8mm I got this rifle as a barreled action from a gunsmith who, sadly, is no longer with us (same guy I got the other one from). He did work on the bolt and the receiver and this thing is smooth as butter. I tracked down a stock and various missing parts to restore this rifle to its former glory. Rifle is in great shape and even has the front sight protector. Would make a good entry level rifle for an aspiring milsurp collector. Rifle has its bayonet lug and sling mounts. Asking 450. Would consider trades (or trades + cash) for .32ACP pistols, SxS or O/U shotguns in 12ga*, or a lever action in .357MAG *modern only, no Damascus barrels F2F meetup in the triangle between Goodlettsville, Gallatin, and Portland1 point

You need to talk with TGO member Smith. He knows a ton about AKs and will get you sorted out. Incidentally, he's also a stand up guy.1 point

If you put a pistol brace on it, your good unless they get ban. If you want a rifle stock on it, you'll need to do a form 1 on it and do all the required stuff that goes along with it. I have a 12.5 bolt action sbr and I absolutely love it.1 point

Earlier this month I had a FFL transfer to pick up and that is when I found out the ownership had changed. They mentioned it was a Utah based company that has taken over. I was in a rush and did not spend more time than I had to but it seemed like the selection was more high end items. One thing that bothered me was that they are not going to be dealing with used guns anymore. Previously I could find some really interesting items in the used gun selection. I guess this gives me the excuse to drive further and go to Guns and Leather.1 point

Hopefully the name change won't reflect on the type of service they're going to offer. I can't stand going into a gun shop that has either ex-cops talking about the "old times" and think that Glocks rule the industry or some blow hard who thinks his carry gun is the best and the rest are just junk, and also I hate it when there's a "person" who dosen't know anything except what's going on with Facebook on their phone. Whatever happened to the guys and gals that worked in these shops that actually cared about their customers needs and wants and offered good advice to them. Hopefully when "MODEREN WARRIORS" takes over they don't fill it with want to be "Operators" that have "never been there and done that" attitude.1 point

There used to be a small shop called Guns & Leather on Hwy.327 just north of Lenoir City. It had been there for years and was an old school shop. It had cardboard boxes of old stock/used holsters on the left as you walked in with real "leather" holsters believe it or not. Also had a large selection of new holsters and accessories, a coffee pot for all, a table to sit and have conversation, ammunition, and a couple of isles that might have no telling what displayed that the owner may have stumbled across at a good deal. Oh, and they had new and used firearms...I miss the place.1 point

I've seen several who claim to be "knife makers" that are just reselling Pakistani knives. Years ago there was such a fella on Facebook. I reversed searched the images in his ads and called him out in a group. He blocked me. Actually running a Google image search of some of these images yields some interesting results. I've never heard of John Knives, but I would say he's a fraud.0 points

You're not gonna believe this, but that's one of my best friends, Alex. He took the Black Bike out for a quick spin to Dolly G's and back while he was over here setting up tree stands! Happy Tails is my business!0 points
