I really like this series. Good characters and interesting storyline. Season 1 was pretty darn good and if these 2 episodes are any indication this season may well be better. Surprised me as well to see Taylor Sheridan. Good stuff! He's got "skills".2 points

It doesn't stay put, but i like seeing it there until it flies off under fire. I like your gun safe idea! I'm a single issue voter - whoever is the PRO GUN candidate gets my vote. No other issue matters more. If we can't elect someone who believes in, and follows, the Constitution - what's the point? Glad everyone is getting out to vote.2 points

Safety Reminder for Buyers and Sellers This is an automatic reply meant to protect you as a buyer and a seller on TGO. Use the Buyer/Seller Feedback feature to research who you are dealing with. Please come back and leave feedback for each other after the transaction is complete. Your experience will help others. Never agree to use an electronic form of payment to buy or sell a gun! None of the electronic payment services will protect you against fraud in a firearms transaction. They all have terms of service FORBIDDING the use of their services to buy/sell guns. DON'T DO IT. Be very wary of anyone who insists on brokering a deal in private or outside of TGO. Scammers almost always prefer to operate out of the public eye. The complete Trading Post Rules and also some more helpful suggestions can be found by clicking this link. Everyone should read them at least once! ~~~ This was an automatic reply ~~~1 point

I finished streaming “Industry” on Hulu. I had to see what all the hype was about. I thought it was exceptionally good. A cross between “Billions” and “Succession” with a nice pace. I must warn, this series is not for everyone. It’s has lots of cursing, verbal abuse, sex and gay sex inside of the London financial industry.1 point

The second season of “Lioness “ episodes 1 & 2 are out on Paramount+. The first episodes are great, and Taylor Sheridan surprisingly shows up as a buff, smooth and calm Delta operator. It’s a must watch.1 point

Does the rifle have or had fixed sights before? Bolt gun or Lever, or Shotgun? I have replaced the front blade on a few lever guns, not to hard as long as you take your time and adjust the new sight to fit the rifle, not make the rifle fit the new sight.1 point

@Fishwang My first instinct is to say, "Take it to a good gunsmith & ask them to put open sights on the rifle." They'll probably ask a few questions, quote you a price that'll make your eyes bug out a bit, then they'll order and fit the sights to the gun. But...maybe you're fishing for info on how to do it yourself?1 point

I don't know of any company making fixed sights for a rifle. Every rifle needs to be zeroed now and then. However, many rifles use fairly simple sights that once zeroed are pretty much fixed. What kind of rifle and why fixed sights?1 point

Remove the magazine and pull the trigger. The gun must be uncocked. Look at the rear of the slide. Notice that circle around the firing pin hole. That's the slide catch. Use a punch, pen, pencil, whatever and push it in. Leave the slide in the full forward position. With the lock pushed in, lift up on the rear of the slide until it clears the frame. It should come off by moving it forward a bit and lifting up. BTW: be careful of that slide catch. Its spring load and will take off like a rocket. Another BTW: Note the direction of the firing pin. If you put it back in backwards the gun will go together, but it won't feed. Yep, its a cheap POS gun. But the darned things are absolutely reliable and go bang every single time. I like mine.1 point
