Marlin M-1 .22 LR Restored For Sale I acquired this rifle in very worn exterior condition. Although the bluing on the barrel is excellent, the finish on the wood and receiver were poor. I refinished the walnut with Tru-Oil. It came out beautiful. I removed the finish off of the receiver and applied Brownells Aluma-Hyde in Semi-Gloss Black. This product appears to be very durable. No scratches on the gun. I replaced the main spring. The gun is in wonderful condition. One thing that makes this item unusual is it has the original rear sight. Most people removed the sight and installed a scope. Most were lost. The rear sight alone is rare and quite expensive if you can find one. I believe it was manufactured in 1977. This is a great rifle to add to your collection. Although I have more .22's than I can shoot, I am in no hurry to sell this one. $xxx cash. Must have a Tennessee Carry Permit and/or good feedback on this forum. I live in between Franklin and Bellevue.1 point

SPM I bought this new at buds awhile back. Ive put exactly 6 rounds of birdshot through is and it has sat in the box since then. Gun is in perfect condition and has beautiful walnut furniture. Cycles like a champ and points well. Due to some family illness issues Ive had most of my collection depleted and Im looking to either sell this, or trade it on a decent carry gun in 9mm, 45 acp or .357, or a pump shotgun to leave by the bed. I like J frames, K frames, Colt D frames, Compact and Full size 9mm and .45 and 12 gauge shotguns with wood furniture. A S&W 432UC or 442UC would be top of the list. I can add a small amountnof cash if needed. The worst I can say is no. Meet up local to Oak Ridge, West Knox area. Cash price is $550, which is $100 less than what it costed out the door a few months ago.1 point

If you can find a buddy to go halves with I like S&B for 10mm. It’s loaded hot and not to .40 specs like a lot of range ammo. It’s my go to range. Also I wish every distributor would follow S&Bs packaging, takes up far less space in the safe. https://rivertownmunitions.com/product/sellier-and-bellot-10mm-180-grain-fmj-50-rd-box-1000-rd-case/ These guys take a couple days to ship but no tax, free shipping and it’s always taped up and wrapped in discreet packaging. Find a buddy to split a case at a hair under .40cpr. Almost 30% cheaper than buying by the box with tax added. Stings a little less.1 point

Not going to go overboard, but initial shooting impressions of my new Rock 1911 in 10mm are quite favorable. Went through 75 rounds of Federal Champion 170 gr loads like...well...like a Champion. Only cycled 1 mag full of 10mm Hornady Custom 155gr jhp through with no feeding problems. Did have the first Hornady round fail to fire. Re-cocked hammer and it went off. Not sure if ammo or gun. Since the Federal went off fine, will just keep an eye on it. Only problem was I could not adjust the rear sight at the range, Bud's in Sevierville. The screws required a larger handle flat blade screwdriver than my trusty old S&W revolver take down tool. At home it adjusted easily though. Will go out to my sportsman's club when it reopens, hopefully soon. Can't stand indoor ranges like Bud's$ Didn't expect this much quality from a 399 1911. Impressed so far. ps: Oh one negative and it is not the Rock: Bud's shooting stalls often deflect handgun ammo cases back into you or the weapon. It did the latter and put nice brass marks on the slide. Will probably just ignore them as it is a working carry gun for "Barrrs" and "Wherewoloves" and the like1 point

So I bought a GeForce Huckleberry 357 lever action rifle and I’m looking for 38 special ammo. I have plenty of 9 mm 556 or 762 to trade. Let me know if you have any you can get rid of.1 point

I know these are not 50 BMG, so what caliber are they? I did do a bit of googling and found them as 5.56, but a barrel chance and they could be, well 300 BLK.1 point

I'm a child of the 50s. I grew up on comic books and "B" sci-fi / monster movies. Still love that stuff! These last few years I've been having a ball with the Marvel movies. The DC flicks aren't bad, but they take themselves way to seriously. I remember very well seeing the first Star Wars movies/trilogy in the theaters and what a thrill it was. This was way cool in those days. The first trilogy was great. The second was so-so and the third, meh. But at least it wrapped up the story. Rogue One wasn't bad. But as already mentioned, Solo just sucked. I don't have Disney, so as much as I'd like to see it, no Mandalorian for me. Honestly, while I do like Star Wars, I'm really a Star Trek guy.1 point

The last concert I went to was Sonny and Cher. It took years of hypnotic therapy to blot it out so I don't remember what I was wearing.0 points

Years ago my wife dragged me to a Michael Bolton concert at Starwood. Was not happy about it but it turned out to be a really good concert.0 points

Years ago, my wife won tickets to see Wynonna Judd. I think Confederate Railroad opened for her. We watched them and the. Got the hell outta there. We were about the only folks in the crowd who weren’t lesbians. I’d consider that a “worse” concert.0 points
