  2. It's the same in most every big name school. I've seen it at every game ive attended. There's always some number of fans who are just nasty. Then they sing in church on Sunday and back to their desk job on Monday.

  3. Marlin M-1 .22 LR Restored For Sale I acquired this rifle in very worn exterior condition. Although the bluing on the barrel is excellent, the finish on the wood and receiver were poor. I refinished the walnut with Tru-Oil. It came out beautiful. I removed the finish off of the receiver and applied Brownells Aluma-Hyde in Semi-Gloss Black. This product appears to be very durable. No scratches on the gun. I replaced the main spring. The gun is in wonderful condition. One thing that makes this item unusual is it has the original rear sight. Most people removed the sight and installed a scope. Most were lost. The rear sight alone is rare and quite expensive if you can find one. I believe it was manufactured in 1977. This is a great rifle to add to your collection. Although I have more .22's than I can shoot, I am in no hurry to sell this one. $xxx cash. Must have a Tennessee Carry Permit and/or good feedback on this forum. I live in between Franklin and Bellevue.

  5. That’s why I don’t go to sporting events anymore. Any event where copious amounts of alcohol are involved I’m on edge and can’t enjoy it. My wife and I went to a UT game once and this drunk old man kept falling asleep on my wife and his friends were just laughing at him. Embarrassing for anyone to act like that, especially a grown man.

  6. I have a Glock 19 made in 1991 (33 years old) and it can use a brand new magazine made today in 2024. That's one of the positive features of Glock pistols. Plus they are just about the only firearms company I know of that sells new production pistols chambered in .22LR , 9mm , .380acp, 357sig, .40S&W , .45acp , .45gap, and 10mm.

  7. State has already made it clear that any gun control passed by Memphis would be illegal and invalid. The state will take action if such local laws are passed. But the Memphis city council thinks they're "special" and can do as they please. Claiming Memphis faces greater danger than the rest of the state, so the rules shouldn't apply to them. The election commission tried to refuse the referendum on the ballot as its illegal, but a judge allowed it. The referendum doesn't pass anything. It holds no weight of law. Its merely an opinion poll. I'm hoping the citizens of Memphis vote it down. But considering that most of them are dumb ass liberals, its anybody's guess.

  12. 1969 Colt python 357 Magnum, 6” blue finish, excellent condition. The first owner Bought it in November 1969, test target included with original receipts, original box, papers and warranty card . Asking $3000. General comments: I’m new to this forum, refer to my Newbee introduction. I read through most of the FAQ’s on posting classifieds. I’ve been collecting guns for over 20years and its time to sell. Feel free to DM me with questions or want to talk over the phone ( message your phone number), I like to do business the old fashioned way. I have fair size collection and only post a few pics in the classifieds, if you need any specific picture or information feel free to contact me. Most of the guns I’ve bought I never end up shooting, goes into the safe, so I’m not very knowledgeable of the current pricing trends. My ask prices are mostly based on comparable(s) on gunbroker or other resources on the web. So I’m not going to be offended by comments on my pricing or knowledge of the guns. Are prices negotiable? Absolutely within reason.

  13. 2006 triumph speed triple 1050 with appt 20k tires are good (metzler m3) Pazzo adjustable levers Mivv exhaust ive had over 80 motorcycles and the triple has always been my fav . I actually sold this bike to a guy about eight years ago last year. I decided I wanted another triple showed up to look at this one and realized it was my old bike. He had painted it. It was originally white this gray color. I’ve never dropped it, but I let my buddy Swap bikes with me on a ride. And he dropped my bike right in front of me pulling out of his driveway didn’t hurt anything, but of course it scratched the stater cover, mirror, and frame slider. This bike is almost 20 years old, but it still rides like it should. Could use some fork seals . I’m not gonna say I haven’t written a couple wheelies on this thing but just coming out of turns aggressively I don’t do wheelies for show. This one hurts cause I love the bike, but I never ride it anymore. Nashville it’s just too stupid now with traffic looking to get back into dirt bikes, clean clear Tennessee title in my name probably the coolest bike you’ll buy for $2800. located next to opry mills

  17. The OP came here to pitch a fit, he has said his peace and left, not be back since. If he is in Hermitage he will get into trouble for firing a firearm in the area. County Sheriff, as others have posted, run the jails, serve warrants, and evictions. The work I do puts me in jail at times, more than once I have seen more than a few rather LARGE men dressed in gear getting into a van going out to serve a warrant. MNPD watch the roads and uphold the law.

  19. This is the one spot in Nashville where I sometimes get road rage. It really is not hard to understand what lanes do what but nobody ever gets it right.

  22. I personally think it’s dumb to tear down the goal post tonight but it’s hardly destroying the stadium. Couth unfortunately, seems to be a thing of the past these days. Florida and Alabama are huge rivals for UT and there is a lot of history there. Not excusing UT fan behavior, but it really all depends on who those fans are. Many have never been taught any manners.

  23. Mark In Hermitage, I think maybe you might be under the impression that The Davidson County sheriff and deputies are responsible for law enforcement in this county. They are not. They pretty much just run the jails. May still also do evictions, etc, but general law enforcement in the county is by the metro PD, except in those few areas within the county that still have their own PD, like Goodlettsville, Belle Meade and a few others. Most other county sheriffs enforce the law in parts of their county that doesn’t have city PDs. Sumner County is a good example of that.

  24. Already do. Pot is illegal. The feds just ignore that law in the states it's legal. If they can smoke pot, I should be able to have $1k machineguns.

  26. Are we going to destroy our own stadium every time we beat Bama? If anything, this elevates Bama. Like beating them is a miracle. 2022 was special and worthy of storming the field. This was not. And last week I experienced the opposite. Our fans were trashy. At times most of the stadium was chanting "F*ck you Florida". Just saw a friend on Facebook post that he had to defend an elderly Bama fan in the restroom after the game.

  27. Ours fans tearing down the goalpost again is ridiculous. That should be a once in a generation thing, not every win. I haven't been impressed with TN fans lately. I was at the Florida game last week and some of our fans were acting like trash. I watched a drunk TN fan threaten to arrest some Florida fan for cheering.
