Picked this up this summer, Royal Enfield Shotgun 650. I've put about 1600 miles on it so far, it's my first motorcycle and I was immediately hooked!4 points

For sale: Tikka T3x Varmint Heavy 23.7" Barrel Blued - Not Threaded .223 Remington Excellent Condition 1-8" Twist I purchased this from a fellow TGO member a few years ago. I have enjoyed shooting 60 gr. Hornady V-Max through it. With the 1-8" Twist, it stabilizes heavier bullets well. It comes with a flush magazine as well as a higher capacity magazine (it needs a new spring). Tikka actions are buttery smooth. Low mileage and in wonderful condition. Scope and rings do not come with the rifle. 11/21 - I will throw in Hornady 60 gr. V-Max Bullets (150 each) and Nosler Brass (131 each 1x fired and 85 2x - all fired in this rifle). Plus, Sierra 69 gr. HPBT and 77 gr. HPBT bullets (98 each - I used two of each to determine COAL for loads I never worked up). $600 Cash OBO Would consider 6mm ARC Dies, Brass, etc. as partial trade Must have a Tennessee Carry Permit and/or good feedback on this forum.2 points

No. 230+ years of laws and decisions say so. What does nullify Memphis’ waste of time is our new state preemption.2 points

My name is Scott and I retired from HBO in NY and moved to TN. I love guns and Jeeps and neither one was welcome in NY. I love military guns and own a 30 carbine and a 1944 1911. They go with my 1951 Willys M38.1 point

Marlin M-1 .22 LR Restored For Sale I acquired this rifle in very worn exterior condition. Although the bluing on the barrel is excellent, the finish on the wood and receiver were poor. I refinished the walnut with Tru-Oil. It came out beautiful. I removed the finish off of the receiver and applied Brownells Aluma-Hyde in Semi-Gloss Black. This product appears to be very durable. No scratches on the gun. I replaced the main spring. The gun is in wonderful condition. One thing that makes this item unusual is it has the original rear sight. Most people removed the sight and installed a scope. Most were lost. The rear sight alone is rare and quite expensive if you can find one. I believe it was manufactured in 1977. This is a great rifle to add to your collection. Although I have more .22's than I can shoot, I am in no hurry to sell this one. $xxx cash. Must have a Tennessee Carry Permit and/or good feedback on this forum. I live in between Franklin and Bellevue.1 point

If it’s students tearing down the goal post I have no problem with that. Let them have their fun. As far as fan behavior, I have seen far, far worse from Florida fans. They literally are trash from my experience.1 point

Ours fans tearing down the goalpost again is ridiculous. That should be a once in a generation thing, not every win. I haven't been impressed with TN fans lately. I was at the Florida game last week and some of our fans were acting like trash. I watched a drunk TN fan threaten to arrest some Florida fan for cheering.1 point

14 penalties for both sides so 28 it accounted for over 500 yards. And 103,400 were in attendance I knew it was capacity but I was curious how much over.1 point

I’m not sure if you’re asking a question or informing, but I can state with certainty that a sheriff’s deputy is by no measure a legal scholar.1 point

Figured I would sale another one of these guys. Brand knew never fired. Only upgrades on this one is the front grip, ambi safety and mlok panels. Meprolite BUS with tritium. I did install a used BCM VLTOR ambi charging handle on this one. All other parts and components are new. Complete BCM rifle front to back. Not a build. Will come as pictured. Need to sale this one so no trades. Again, in my opinion, there isn’t a better rifle available. Just more expensive and more complex. Knoxville/Chattanooga area meet. 1400 firm. This is posted on other sites also but I will always give preference to TGO members.1 point

General Services District rules changed for discharging on your property. They were revised to require prior permission from homeowners or tenants within 500’ from where you discharge. I’ve attached a screenshot from the municipal website. Final action on the revision dated 6/20/23. Dave Rosenberg, Erin Evan’s and Joy Stiles sponsored the revision. This appears to apply whether hunting on your private property or just plinking. I made an initial Nashville HUB submission to verify Section 11.12.080 Municipal Code and was told INCORRECTLY that “No shooting anywhere in Davidson County unless it’s at an indoor range. I now know that’s only true in the Urban Services District. See attached. Also know that the Davidson County Sheriff was no help in clarifying the erroneous statement from the Nashville HUB. They referred me back to Metro saying, “Our agency does not arrest or enforce firearm laws within the County/City.”. My advice is to study the District Services Map, to ensure you’re NOT in the Urban Services District and then start schmoozing your neighbors.0 points

I know the title says 1973. But we used to buy it at some dive grocery stores on the Edge of the French Quarter in 1972...I think We couldn't afford fine wines like Mad Dog! Sleep a bit in Jackson Square the next morning. Even the bums wouldn't bother us.0 points
