  4. Maybe if the Shelby County Election Commission’s website was not such a worthless POS people could study a sample ballot before going to the polls. Not that the average person would do so but it would be a start. There should also be sample ballots printed out on the wall of every voting location for people to review before making a final decision.

  8. The election commission's answer is to print out the gun referendum, laminate it and pass it around to the people in line to vote so they can read it while waiting. Yeah, like that's gonna work. Thankfully, I don't live in Memphis and have to deal with this stupidity.

  13. I went into North Ga Reloading couple weeks ago. No more reloads and now down to 2 locations from 3. It's now just a little gun store with some ammo, few reloading supplies and some Trump gear. I sure do miss the days of 500 rounds of 9mm reloads for $69.99

  16. Yes. My iPad Pro is 11 inches tall and it fits, but it’s tight. A pad or spiral is flexible so should fit easier than my iPad. I don’t carry my iPad out much and there’s plenty of room. I like mine so far.

  19. Been there, done that, got the pics 14 day land/sea combination cruise. Land was bus, train, then to the ship for the other half. Amazing time, excellent food, accommodations were spot on. Mind you this was pre covid and major changes in the travel industry have taken place since then. Let me know if you need any help

  20. Carrying concealed gives one a tactical advantage if a problem requiring use of your gun comes up. If it's important to you to give up that tactical advantage, then go ahead. Just remember that none of the nationally prominent firearms trainers recommend open carry. That could be considered a clue. Cheers, Whisper

  21. Last year I did exactly that. So worth it. I will be doing several more versions of this taking different routes, i.e. more northern or central. My basic route was Middle TN -> Northern NM -> Moab UT -> Grand Canyon NP -> RT66 to Las Vegas -> Death Valley NP -> Joshua Tree NP -> San Diego, CA -> Junction, TX -> Jacksonville Beach Florida -> Richmond, VA -> Middle TN. 17 days, 7300 miles.

  23. Bowen is indeed a true master. But I'm betting he's backed up at least a year, maybe two. All you need is a simple trigger job. The SA Army isn't that complicated. Watch a couple of YouTube videos and you can do it yourself.

  24. Downsizing & streamlining things so this one's up for sale. Bought it new years back. Haven't shot it much at all. Tiny bit of holster wear on both the grip & manual safeties. Otherwise in pristine shape. These are some of my favorite 1911's & as far as I know they are no longer producing this 5" railed model in black. I have 4-5 Chip McCormick magazines, 1 Wilson Combat 10-rounder, a Craft Holsters custom shoulder holster & a black Galco OWB holster. I had a Surefire X-300 OU attached to the rail & a Tier One Concealed OWB holster in MCB, too. Those can be had to an additional cost, if you like. I paid right about $1700 for the pistol out the door. I'll sell it with everything but the X300/T1C for $1400.
