I don't know who is telling the truth or not , if this is real , fabricated or anything. But I'll tell you that I'm a police officer and I have worked through 3 major disasters in my city. 2 major tornados and 1 huge flood. We never turned down help nor supplies. We appreciated everything the volunteers did and welcomed them.4 points

I am the second owner of this fine rifle. I bought this from the family of the original owner after he passed. It is a 1953 Winchester 70 Super Grade in .270 Winchester. It is in immaculate condition. There is no scratches or rust on this rifle. It is in such good condition I could never get myself to take it out to hunt with it. It has sat in my safe for the last couple of years. It is time to move this on to someone who will appreciate and use this fine piece of craftsmanship. The last couple of 1953 Super Grades, not in as good of condition as this one, that sold on gun broker went for $3500. Let's keep this one in Tennessee. $3,000. I am in Nashville but will drive some for the right deal.3 points

Unfortunately many of those reports are true and this is based on the amount of direct contact with family and friends, first hand eye witness myself, etc. I have to say I'm appalled at how this area is being ignored in so many ways. You can ignore the fancy press releases. Most I've read are basically outright lies. On the flip side, people from all over have been a godsend. The amount of volunteers, support, goods received have saved countless lives. Below is a post from one of my clients. Basically spot on with what I've heard and experienced.3 points

Vegas sets the odds so that the house wins either way. Those who bet bet against one another. The house takes a cut for brokering the deal.2 points

I have two Leupold Rimfire scopes for sale. Both are in gloss finish and in excellent condition. Leupold Rimfire Special, 4X, 1 inch tube, no rings (but I have some Weaver tip off that works well with grooved receivers that I'll throw in), nice gloss finish, made in 1990, fine duplex reticle, $300 Leupold Rimfire, 4X, 1 inch tube, no rings (but I have some Weaver tip off that works well with grooved receivers that I'll throw in), nice gloss finish, made in 2009, rare Hunt-Flex duplex reticle, with Leupold neoprene cover, $300 The scopes are in excellent condition and hold zero well. All glass and optics are in excellent condition also. These really look and work great on vintage rimfire rifles. I can meet close to the Oak Ridge/Knoxville area, and maybe a few other nearby places. I'm near Oak Ridge, otherwise, I'll have to charge a little extra for shipping. Research these scopes and I think you'll find that my prices are very reasonable. Additional photos are available if needed. Any questions, please send me a PM or reply to this ad... Thanks...!1 point

I really, really really like my Max 9 Micro pistol. It is thin(1"), size wise it is excellent and fits most pockets with an extended mag. If the pocket is tight, it has a flush mount with 2 rounds less. It does not print as bad as my 7-shot revolver. My hand fits the extended mag much better because the flush mount only holds half my pinkie finger. I do prefer a full finger grip as, for me, it adds to controllability. With Winchester + P 147 gr self-defense ammo it is a handful. That ammo really whacks the Steel I have on my shooting range. The thinness of the pistol makes it slide in and out of my pockets really easy and with the extended mag it comes out with an excellent grip which I do not need to adjust once the pistol is presented. Caliber wise I have confidence in the 9 MM so as to stop a thug, as that is/would be my goal, not necessarily to kill someone. I feel it may take more than one good hit, but I feel that way with my 357 Mag also. I am not naive enough to know that death could "very possibly" happen, however that would not be my goal. Just stop them from hurting my family, or myself, is. I pray often that I am never faced with evil again and be forced to use my tools. I realize that scenario would be my very last resort if all else fails. I know there are several other brands of Micro pistols on the market now. At the behest of my daughter, I went to Outpost Armory with her, and we picked out a Hellcat for my S-I-L's birthday, this year. I hope to get with him and fire that Micro pistol in the future. IMO, the Micro Size is a very good size pistol for concealed carry with tools that are "formattable/adequate" in power, and very comfortable and concealable. I haven't purchased a pistol, in the past, that I have that much confidence in lately. I carry mine in a DeSantis Nemesis pocket holster and it keeps the grip upright and ready for a fast hand retrieve should I have a pressing emergency. My first love are revolvers because that is what I grew up with. I have personally witnessed their success, on several occasions, at stopping evil without firing a shot, and yes, they are very effective deterrents, however one must possess the mindset to use them if forced too. I have a 7-shot revolver in my pocket as I type this, and yes, I carry at home always. Life taught me a good/valuable lesson a few years back. I never get out of bed, and go outside without it, ever since my date with evil, in my own front yard, has passed. Just some of my thoughts on Micros as I had mine out on the range a couple weeks ago. My Max nine fills my cup, guys. Edited to add content.1 point

Safety Reminder for Buyers and Sellers This is an automatic reply meant to protect you as a buyer and a seller on TGO. Use the Buyer/Seller Feedback feature to research who you are dealing with. Please come back and leave feedback for each other after the transaction is complete. Your experience will help others. Never agree to use an electronic form of payment to buy or sell a gun! None of the electronic payment services will protect you against fraud in a firearms transaction. They all have terms of service FORBIDDING the use of their services to buy/sell guns. DON'T DO IT. Be very wary of anyone who insists on brokering a deal in private or outside of TGO. Scammers almost always prefer to operate out of the public eye. Let me ask this question then. If someone were to post a question asking what the members thought about the new Chevy 3500 diesel pickup truck….would an appropriate reply be “Well diesel is just a more expensive gasoline, think bout that.” Idk why that would even be a topic that comes up, when in my question I was asking for thoughts on a specific firearm… not anyone’s opinion on this caliber vs that caliber. To me, it’s a crazy way to reply to anything. I have 22mags and I have 5.7s. I’m full aware of the cost of each, and full aware of the abilities of each. I know for myself that 5.7 isn’t just “overpriced 22wmr”. Sure, it’s more expensive but it does more. Velocity, energy, reliability in ignition because it’s not a rimfire, feeding from a magazine because it’s not a rimmed cartridge, etc. Based any metric you want to evaluate it by, it’s not a true statement other than the fact that they are both .22 caliber projectiles and one round does typical cost more than the other. Other than that, they are wildly different cartridges.1 point

I've seen a bunch of em. Looks like a Pontiac Aztec bred a DeLorean. Not enough bed to be a useful truck. A decent status symbol or climate change virtue signal I guess.1 point

Free bump for a guy so torn up about selling this revolver that he wept tears into the gun's box - and was honest about it. J/k. That is one bad bad weapon! GLWS.0 points

The model 45 is a 9mm, the 44 is a .22, the 22 is a .40, and the 40 is a 10mm. What’s the issue?0 points
