  6. Kind of hate to to this but putting this beauty up for sale to help fund some other spending habits.... Dan Wesson DWX Compact. Has a total of 300 rounds through it and is one of my favorite guns of all time. The wonderful feel of a 75 compact paired with a nice, crisp SAO trigger, what's not to love. Comes with original zippered cased, 2 original mags and then 3 more mags complete with the aluminum DW baseplates. Not much more to say other than you won't be disappointed $1600, no trades considered Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

  9. This was certainly a lot to take in and analyze. While I'm sure a lot of statements need to be verified, enough of what was explained seems to fill in the pieces of what we can already observe in the world (in a way that is more than likely rather accurate). Also, I think it provides some context regarding the pushes we see happening in the U.S., especially related to personal freedoms (including firearms) and information. Here is what was on my mind after the interview: The thing about using all manners of coercion against others, under the justification of "for the good of the country" or "to further/secure our interests", is that eventually this mindset will cause a government to redirect these efforts inward. Becoming so drunk with greed and power that, in the end, it will attack its own people with the same measures marketed as necessities for "national security", "public safety", or "quality of life". Many countries have seen this before and I think the U.S. is seeing it now. The fabric of lies and opaque measures designed to cast an illusion for the people - that cloaks any reason to look around and question - is tearing. Because the government allows or is a direct party to harms against the people, it becomes increasingly fearful about losing stability; possibly to the point of internal conflict. Using the bag of "dirty tricks" in an attempt to regain control can become the catalyst for rebellion. However, if the government can successfully control the information space and remove private weapon ownership, it greatly lessens both the chance and duration of any potential uprising. Again, "stability" and "peace" through coercion. Another obvious side of this gets into ethics, etc. and that can be saved for another day (brain needs a break).

  10. 30 06 is what i started at. Now abit older i have been packing a 280AI in a Kimber rifle with a Leupold 4.5-14x40 CDS. 160 Accubonds or 160 Partitons. Works on everything without the recoil.

  12. I own all the flavors of compensated and standard P365's. A little over a dozen of these little runts. I have many other compensated pistols in compact and full size, but the 365 series (and Macro, which is really a compact not a subcompact) are the most carryable and thus the ones I have the most experience with. I live on a ranch, and so I actually draw and fire my CCW on a weekly basis (squirrels, groundhogs, coyotes and other vermin). I find very little perceivable and performance difference in muzzle rize between my compensated and standard pistols. I try to sneak in ear pro, but when I don't get to it, I *do* find that a standard pistol shot without ear pro is tolerable, while two separate single-shot experiences with a compensated barrel convinced me to never do that again. I imagine an unprotected multi-discharge defensive shooting would be even more unhealthy. So unless you plan on telling your attacker to wait while you go retrieve your muffs, I strongly suggest sticking to a standard barrel. The other thing that made me take my comps out of my carry pool is size. A subcompact or micro is already a significant compromise on muzzle velocity for a handgun, and of course a handgun is already a significant compromise for self defense compared to a rifle or shotgun. Giving up another inch (20% or more!) of barrel for a gadget that isn't contributing a noticeable benefit is not attractive to me. It's about 100fps, which is not earth shattering, but I like that 100fps more than I care about reduced muzzle rise on a gun that I never noticed muzzle rize with to begin with. Or, I carry the shorter gun and have more comfort and concealability when sitting, walking, running, and otherwise living my life. Lastly - in my draw-and-shoot practice on the range from concealment, putting 11 rounds downrange, reloading and reholstering is much more uncomfortable with a compensated gun than with a standard gun. One to three rounds, no noticeable difference. But after a mag or so, the compensator feels much hotter inside my pants. There's a joke there somewhere but I'm trying to be serious.

  14. I love going to the games. But I don’t like the talent tax But now you have no alternative to pay more if your going to games in person. Or watch on ESPN which I will do in future. I agree it’s getting like the Professional Football all about money But I will watch on Tv where bathroom is close And drinks aren’t 13:00 dollars.

  15. You need to attend a class at Citizens Safety Academy in Murfreesboro. Aqil Qadir and Tiffany Johnson are some of the best people in the industry, not just in TN, but nationally. EHCP requires no maintenance other than renewal every three years, and it doesn't affect your driver's license. Getting the permit so you can carry in other states is an excellent reason to have one. 18. Get the comp gun and then swap the short barrel for a full length. You'll get the aesthetics you love plus the performance benefit of a longer barrel, without all the noise, flash, and heat. Now it's not a compensator, it's a heat dissipating slide!

  21. Nossir, it's a 1990 Evo 883 with a 1200 top end. It might look weird to you because I've carved up the cam & sprocket covers into a more esthetically appealing shape. The upwards curve & vertical back of the sprocket cover always looked unfinished to my eye. I've always wanted to try rounding one off, then dropping another curve in where the cases meet to mirror the 'swoop' at the back of the oil filter housing. Meanwhile, lurking behind the clutch...... I just knew there was something expensive going on back there. Time to pull the transmission
