  2. Count out 100 rounds, put them on a scale and record then, put the whole lot on the scale and do the math. If 100 weights 10 pounds and the whole lot is 100 pounds than there are 100 lbs/10 lbs=10 x 100 rounds =1000 rounds Yes there numbers are WAY off, but simple for me to use. Found this A case of 223 is about 29 LBS. https://thegunzone.com/what-does-1000-rounds-of-223-ammo-weigh/

  3. Springfield Armory M1A SOCOM II (discontinued in name only) set up in a Tanker configuration before their Tanker existed, including NM trigger pack and op-rod. Also comes with over 10 mags fully loaded (I think it's actually 13 total), mil-surp cleaning kit, Sadlak oversized mag release paddle, sling, wooden stock, synthetic black stock, and an UpLula mag loader. Very accurate, handy rifle. One of my favorites. $2700. Not interested in trades. I hate to let this one go but I have not had a good year job-wise and I never shoot it. Call/Text 615-300-3074 or send me a DM.

  4. ***Sold *** Remington 700 ADL Varmint chambered in 22-250. It’s got a 26in varmint contour barrel and a low round count (less than a box). I keep telling myself I’ll do something with this, but I never do so here we are. Would prefer cash, but if you have a trade send it my way I’m always looking to pick things up.

  8. I have had one AR in .204 Ruger with a White Oak barrel. I didn't put it together. Leroy you have been around long enough you might remember Brent aka @Rightwinger. He built this AR and loved the White Oak barrel. I shot it for a couple of years before I sold it. I was always impressed with the accuracy of the barrel.

  15. I have a HK VP9 OR 9mm w/ HOLOSUN SCS Green Dot Sight. This came as a package deal from HK, it's like NIB. Includes all the paperwork for the SCS Holosun, and HK VP9 Manual, Orginal Box, all the Back Straps, Grip Inserts, two 17rnd Mags w/ Loader. I got this as a partial trade deal I made, it appears unfired or very little. The HOLOSUN SCS does not require batteries it runs on solar power, so no worrying about changing batteries. It's in great overall condition. $700 CASH FTF. I live in the Whitehouse area and can meet locally around Goodletsville, Hendersonville, Gallatin and Nashville area for FTF deal, and I can drive to a half way point to meet and complete the transaction. Thanks for looking, let's give this a new owner.

  20. I have a couple of Ares BTR's. Very happy with them. I've bought new "whiz bang" scopes at lower prices since getting them. Disappointment ensued. https://www.eurooptic.com/Ares-Scopes.aspx

  23. Jeez! A $1000 scope is "budget" optics now? I've always considered $1000 to be a lot of money. But there ya go! I have an Athlon Ares on my 330 Lapua and I'm really happy with it. From what I've read the Strike Eagle line isn't for heavy recoiling rifles, but the Viper seems to be well recommended. Keep us posted on what you find!

  24. That is a list of guns the author would LIKE to own. Not a list of guns TO own. Granted, its a fine list. Some magnificent pieces there. But way, way over my pay grade.

  25. The only gun that's ever "out" is my carry pistol when I'm not carrying it. Even then, it's near me. Outside of that it's the main safe or the quick access safe. Once the kids are gone, I'll probably leave out a rifle and a shotgun. Honestly, I could probably do that now because my kids aren't into it outside of humoring me. I would be more concerned about other kids that they may bring over who don't have their discipline. I never hid it from my kids, so they aren't too impressed. My sons friend though, he's REALLY curious about firearms. I told my son its probably best to exclude my hobby. He looked at me sternly and said "oh... you don't have to worry about that" Good boy.
