Same. But I'm just carrying my ARs to the range and back too infrequently. If I was still walking Allah's brown earth, something sturdy is called for.3 points

Weeeeell......... you know how you occasionally just HAVE to have a mooch around on Facebook marketplace. Not really looking for anything in particular, but then you see a very tatty, rough looking Sporty with a clean title for $400? It came as rough as a bear's ass. Owner 'claimed' it was running last year..... the fire ant nest inside the cam chest determined that was BS. I've already rebuilt the top end & installed a set of rocker lockers. I've got to pull the clutch today & see if the generator rotor is intact. I found too much magnetic gravel in the primary case & I'm 99% sure the rotor is starting to break apart. After it's whole, it's going in a low, raked hardtail frame & I'm going back to my chopper roots ✌2 points

Great little 22 that I haven’t shot much after buying a 22/45, so selling it to free up some cash.1 point

All of mine are not staked or lock tited- I have not had one back off yet- When I worked at the old Range USA we had 3 AR's that got frequent use and by frequent I mean daily and I did not stake any of those either-1 point

Yeah, this was an unexpected kick in the nards, that's for sure. But hey-ho, gives me something to do No epic story ever started with "so, I bought this bike in minty condition....."1 point

Nossir, it's a 1990 Evo 883 with a 1200 top end. It might look weird to you because I've carved up the cam & sprocket covers into a more esthetically appealing shape. The upwards curve & vertical back of the sprocket cover always looked unfinished to my eye. I've always wanted to try rounding one off, then dropping another curve in where the cases meet to mirror the 'swoop' at the back of the oil filter housing. Meanwhile, lurking behind the clutch...... I just knew there was something expensive going on back there. Time to pull the transmission1 point

Variant#1 I think, at any rate standard sa/da. It comes as from factory with two 15 round magazines. I have the box wrist band, paperwork etc. It is brand new unfired.1 point

UPDATE: Well, I couldn't pass it up. 5 grand, 23k on the clock & a full, detailed, dealer service history & the engine is completely stock. She runs like a sewing machine too. An absolutely perfect example of a tart's handbag. Unfortunately, I have no idea how it rides because the seals blew out of the front master cylinder, unloading it from the trailer But, silver lining, that's given me the time & opportunity to eighty-six all the tassels (there were soooo many tassels!) ditch the front fender & turn signals, & lower the rear end 2" I've got wider, flatter handlebars ordered, a pair of fishtails, air cleaner & carb jets & needles, along with a new rear fender, gas tanks, Le Pera Barebones seat (I sold the original for an obscene amount) & about 4 gallons of black paint. I'd planned on chopping & painting the original tins, but then I saw how much they sold for on ebay (significantly more than half of what I paid for the bike! ) and mine are literally unmarked. Not a single blemish in the paint, at all. This is how she's sitting as of 5pm tonight (minus the seat) About an hour after I took that, the exhaust heat shields got the matte black treatment.1 point

I am a fan of AGM. I have the TC35-384 clip on. I am very happy with it. ATN has gotten a bad reputation over the years. I don't care for the built in battery. If your battery goes bad, you are without until you get it back from being repaired. AGM uses cr123's, both rechargeable and non-rechargeable. Just something to consider.1 point
