Up for sale is an Israeli contract CZ75 compact. These variants are unique in that they are the only known production of alloy frames with a safety. The commercial peer would be the CZ 75 PCR which has the alloy frame but configured with a decocker. Being an import pistol I've baselined it to - Sights have been replaced with Dawson Precision sights (Tritium front and black rear) - new springs from Cajun Gunworks - Came with two 10 round mags and I've added a 15 round mecgar (OEM). - Replaced plastic grips with current production rubber grips (original included). - Also included is a JM Custom Kydex IWB holster ($80) Excellent little shooter and great addition to the CZ collector. $550 for the package, Middle TN area.4 points

Chattanooga $1300 $1200 each, or $2400 for the pair if you're collecting or perhaps setting up a dual wield retro-akimbo setup for the end of the world. Trades welcome as always. This pair of Smith & Wesson 29-2 revolvers are the best expressions of the Model 29 .44 Magnum line. These 8-3/8" barreled, dash-2 revision wheelguns incorporate all of the early product improvements, and none of the cost-cutting revisions of the later versions. They include pinned and recessed barrels, recessed cylinders, the improved ejector rod, and deletion of the 4th screw holding the cylinder stop spring. The Model 29 is best known as the sidearm of choice for "Harry Callahan" from the Dirty Harry movie franchise. I've had three of them for some time, thinking that all three of my kids would like to inherit one, but they've all taken to more practical barrel lengths in .357. So the Model 19's and 686's are staying, and this pair of 29's are hereby released. The third 29-2 stays, 'cause I have a few decades of shooting .44Mag left in me! Good condition, very faint turn rings, extremely low round counts (can't find any powder on either one, and I never shot these two). Strong bluing with very slight/hard to notice imperfections, probably from handling. No muzzle wear; as-new chambers and bore. Desirable target trigger, target hammer, and target sights make both of these "Triple T" guns. *Oops, I left a sticker on the lefthand gun's grip. That's not a blemish. Trivia: Dirty Harry features Model 29's in both 8-3/8" and 6-1/2" lengths, depending on what looked/worked best in each film scene. There's a fair chance these two were probably definitely not in the movie (but maybe not in the sequels, too).2 points

Sig-Sauer P226 9mm, stamped "Made in W. Germany. The chin stamp indicates it was built in Kiel in 1993 (date code KD). I purchased this from the original owner in 2013. I have shot approximately 200 rounds. The condition appears to be very good but I have to admit to being a novice on handgun "condition." I welcome any questions and can provide more detailed photos if needed. I replaced the original sights with LPA adjustable sights but still have the originals (the rear sight was painted green over the original white). It has always been stored in a hard case and well cared for, cleaned after every range visit. Includes the pistol, original box, instruction manual, test target, one 18 round magazine, Safariland duty holster, original and installed LPA sights. Pick-up preferred but shipping can be arranged. I am asking $9252 points

So after years of getting onto my wife about her Amazon shopping, I guess I have gotten just as bad. Bought an Alberta Moose hunt off a non-profit. (I'm not rich, just have good credit and make piss-poor decisions) Anybody been up on one of those hunts? Able to add on a wolf for minimal charge. Plan to fire up the diesel and take it up through the Black Hills into Canadia, yeh. Any advice to plan for? Definitely a bucket list item being checked off (before I'm old and cant do it) 30-06 or 458 WM1 point

I have one to, there pretty bad ass guns.. I know who sold the other Barrett1 point

Sale or trade. $1,000 OBO Beautiful condition Ultra Raptor II. Comes with one Chip McCormick mag because Kimber mags are garbage. Officers model, great for concealed carry. Has really aggressive texturing on front strap, grips and backstrap. Not uncomfortable, but easy to hold on to. Top serration on slide for easy grip and no glare. Great looking and feeling little gun, but I have others in my collection that serve a similar role. Interested in lots of stuff for trade, lever guns, bolt guns, other 1911s (particularly a 5 inch railed model), would consider most anything that might tickle my fancy. Would also consider trades on optics as well.1 point

I like the Ridgeline a lot myself. But to be fair, if I move to smaller it would be a hybrid. When I actually need a truck, I need the 8 foot bed. Most everything will fit in the back of our Buick TourX so it is rare that I need a truck. Most likely I will get an even older Ford than my current 97 F150. I just prefer the older trucks. I see a trend of smaller, turbo engines and it's true, you will not get the long life under hard work. Just a matter of science, smaller builds more heat to produce the torque needed. Adding a turbo just contributes to more heat. We went through the same thing back decades ago going from true truck engines to mid sized car engines. A 4.9 six will outlast a 5.0 V8. Smaller and lighter are the inevitable future with CAFE and emission standards constantly going higher. The only way to avoid it is smaller lighter vehicles. The old Toyota and Datsun trucks were anvils that would last forever given proper maintenence and cleaning. The EARLY Ranger and Mazda were right behind. True, you won't get the ride quality nor the higher interior with small trucks but that's the trade off. I personally think Toyota, Nissan, Ford, GM have all gotten too big for small trucks. but automotive trends to bigger is better until they got over the max. Then you see things like Mustang II, Courier, S10. Cheap stuff to hold market share. If I do get a new small truck, it has to be 4 door so my Dane has a place to ride.1 point

So....remember everything is a test.... If you have 30 people in your class, less than half will make it. I had one that asked me to describe a situation where a person did something that made me proud to be a member of my race. There is one one right answer for that question. I'll ask you a question I was directly asked. If a child was living with you for a year and after that year DCS sent you to a observed visitation with the child's biological father how would you handle it? 1: knowing dad was arrested for sexualy abusing the child. 2: knowing mom was arrested for knowing about it and not reporting it. 3: dad's been a bit violent about it. 4: both are combative with you because you have the kids. What would you do? What if they didn't do it? You will also take days off. Drive for two hours for a visit mom. She will be a no show and you’re so new you actually told your kid they were going to see mom. The disappointment in their eyes will break you down. You will get a newborn. That child will be with you for years. You'll take him to his 1st T-ball game. You are the only Mother and Father he knows.....then.....bo-mom or dad...gets their act together. Your ordered to give your child to a stranger. There's a bunch leading up to that. You know it's coming, but.......they are gone, and that's how it is supposed to work. You have to be able to let everything roll of you back in the moment. You will be called horrible things you you face. You have to control yourself. I've been in court with a man that got 28 years. He was in handcuffs, strapped to a wheelchair, and legs bound. One armed guard with their hands on his shoulders. One man between him and us with his hand on his handgun. Armed officers next to us. We were to look at a particular officer and the meeting was over. That officers job was to look at us the entire time. The dad was 6'4" monster that looked like an man. What he said was the thing. He wanted to be notified when his Daughter passed away and he thanked us. He told us how much he appreciated what we were doing. I allowed him to see his Daughter stand.(something we were told she'd never do)I was the last time he will ever see her. I've never seen so many hard men crying.1 point

Couple of nights ago, we were watching the men's synchronized diving, and I think it was the team from China had a guy named Wang, and a guy named Long. Every time they came up, i would shout to the wife "The Long Wang Team is up" and then proceed to hee haw. She was not as amused as I was https://www.nbcolympics.com/news/long-daoyi-wang-zongyuan-win-mens-3m-secure-chinas-sweep-synchro-diving-events1 point

I have for sale a complete, unfired collection of the second (revised/improved) version of the Automag 2, in every barrel length they manufactured. The original "M" prefix suffered from some flaws with the ball bearing jumping and holding the slide open intermittently. This collection consists of a 3.5" version C prefix (first revision, solving the issue by converting to a hold-open pin), and these 4.7" and 6" "H" prefix pistols are the final series, manufactured by Hi Standard. All are as-new, with two of them still holding the factory original warning labels. I have a 6" that I've fired for many years and I am keeping; these collectibles are for sale or trade. Asking $1600 for all three.1 point

I've got an Aeron size C and it is insanely comfortable compared to the size B. I'm built like an ogre with a long torso and short(er) legs. The C fit me way better than the B did. Plus with it being somewhat wider, I don't snag my gun on the arm rests when I'm carrying and sit or stand. I've also used the Steelcase Leap V2 in an office setting for 4-5 years and really liked it a lot. I would have bought one of those for home if the Aeron hadn't actually been cheaper.1 point

I bought one of these a few years ago. No complaints. https://www.staples.com/tempur-pedic-ergonomic-fabric-swivel-computer-and-desk-chair-black-tp6400-blk/product_2724237 Frame of reference, I'm in IT leadership and have to sit in front of the screen for extended periods. Years later and the foam has held up. I'm 6'2", 230lbs.1 point

Don’t buy one of those X chairs they hawk on the radio. I bought the wife one for a gift, and of course she hates it. It costed a small fortune too.1 point

I’m a big fan of the Steelcase Leap V2 (fully adjustable). It is the pinnacle of office chairs as far as I’m concerned. No more backaches, shoulder aches or other weirdness when desk sitting. Thankfully I didn’t have to pay for the two I have. They are absurdly expensive.1 point

I have no advice on the chairs at all. Just signed in to say that this is what I appreciate this forum for. The off-topic advice on random subjects that don’t pertain to me and would never cross my mind. I will always take the advice over TNGO over any other online mainstream echo chamber. IMHO it’s topics like this that makes it feel more like a community than a trading post. *inset the “The more you know star going left to right”.1 point

Just get a Herman Miller Aeron in XL (Size C as they call it) and be done with it. Have you actually sat in a size C? Size B is likely too small. My buddy who is 5'10", about 330lbs practically lives in that chair and has for several years now. Size B would be like trying to stuff 10lbs of #### in a 5lb bag.1 point
