  1. They lost the suit in NAGR vs Garland. The language in the 60+ pg decision is very clear in shutting them down from making what amounts to new laws and circumventing Congress. It applies to so much more than just FRT's

  14. I saw it was on there and almost rented it but may wait until a weekend. Honestly for the price I would spend that or more to go to a theater. On a side note, if anyone needs a kid friendly movie "IF" wasn't bad it is available on Paramount+.

  17. just another option for the 'PEOPLE' to decide that, I think they made some solid choices with the RM1C out of the gate though. truthfully I haven't fired them much yet, just 1 magazine, because of photo needs, but now I can start to shoot them and really get a feel for it.... my initial opinion is based of ergonomics, fit and feel, craftsmanship. I'm not suggesting it's "better" than another in the category, but if it works for you, it works for you is my motto. something else for people to check out.

  18. Search continues for two suspects accused of shooting THP Trooper (wsmv.com) Prayer for his recovery.

  19. I know this trooper. He was a great guy from what I know of him. These two clowns should have been in prison instead of out shooting folks. It's about time we hold some judges and DAs accountable for some of this crap, but how do we go about it?

  21. Will Carry: I was on the Chattooga River, section 4, at the five falls section. One of the five rapids is called "Sock'em Dogs."This rapid has killed some really good paddlers. As we walked downstream to scout the drop at Sock'em Dog, I took one look and said, "I think I will carry this rapid." Then my buddy Joe says "Dang dude, I didn't drive 7 hrs to portage a rapid." I replied, "I didn't drive 7 hrs to die in one." This changed my attitude toward kayaking. I decided that I would portage any rapid I want to. I WILL CARRY! I used to paddle with these guys that were better than me, they were Hair Boaters and every time I paddled with them, I was scared witless. Knowing that I WILL CARRY any rapid I want to, allowed me to enjoy kayaking again. We ran some unbelievable creeks and rivers, my favorites are in East Tennessee, Daddies Creek Canyon, The Tiny Piney River, Crooked Fork Creek to name a few. angit

  24. Not me, just responded. I think I posted on another post like this but will add it here as well. Most guys couldn't pronounce my last name so was just called Sgt O, when another soldier with another hard to pronounce name got assigned, I was called Big O due to my rank. When I started playing call of duty I was going to go with Big O, but it could be construed as a different meaning so went with OMega, now across the net I use Omega, O-Mega or some other variation when the original is not available.

  25. photos look good. Something about it makes it look like an X-Macro, Hellcat, and Glock 19 had some sort of love child. Always good to see more competition in the market.

  26. I said the bumpstock ban was stupid, most reading that would come to the conclusion I consider it to be wrong. Do you understand now? He's made decisions I don't agree with & I imagine he'll continue, but his good decisions far outweigh his bad ones.

  28. Its all show. Trying to convince voters that they're trying to do something about crime. They know very well it'll never fly. But they get that good old victim outrage when it gets publicly shot down. IIRC they tried something along these same lines a couple of years ago and the State Attorney General set 'em straight real quick. I hope he repeats that.

  29. Your photography looks very good. Pics are clean, crisp and show details really well. You do good work. As for the gun, well, I'm the wrong guy to ask. I favor revolvers and 1911s. To me, this is just another piece of plastic. But we gots lots of plastic lovers here. I'm sure they'll be along shortly.

  31. Regardless of constitution, the state claimed all oversight of guns laws several years ago, as you are aware. They know this but are too inept to do anything else. My ideas, as much as I hate to say it, are without a doubt unconstitutional. A big chunk of my birthplace needs to be walled off and forsaken.

  32. I mean, they can try. But their understanding of the constitutional legality of these measures are just as firm as their knowledge of how many counties are in the state of TN.

  34. I think there was a much more recent version of this thread, but since @Omega pulled it from the archives I figured I would respond. Pretty easy Snaveba is A.B. Evans (my initials and last name) backwards. This goes back to trying to create an email address on AOL almost 30 years ago. Everything I tried was taken. AOL kept offering AEvans (and some number) so I just did abevans backwards.

  35. Congress gets to shoot their mouths off for the TV cameras, Cheatle will be sacrificed as the scape goat and then the whole incident will quietly fade out of the news cycle. Meanwhile, the truth and any actual facts will be buried away while internet conspiracy theorist argue how many shooters, where the shots came from, etc and so on for the next 50 years. And in the end, nothing will change. Basically, just another standard government cover up.

  36. I've told the story many times about my wife's arthritis in her hands. She finally settled on a 2" S&W Model 30 in .32 S&W Long. She could shoot it very well and the recoil didn't hurt her hands. If you were to buy something in .327 Fed Magnum, she could shoot .32 S&W Long, .32 H&R Magnum or .327 Federal Magnum all out of the same gun. She could try the various cartridges and settle on whichever one she could shoot and handle the best. I really think that .32s are highly under rated.

  39. Just ran into this thread, better late than never.   I was watching Hawaii Five-O when I registered on TGO. For those who have never seen it, Lt. Commander Steve McGarrett is the main character on the show. I am a big fan of the old detective shows and I also like the new reboot of 5-0.
