  2. He won't spend a day in jail. Probation, maybe a fine and after the election Daddy will pardon him. He'll get a light slap on the wrist. If it was one of us, they'd put us under the jail.

  4. Up for sale is a Winchester Model 1894 born in 1907. The rifle is chambered in 30WCF and has a 26” half round barrel with a short magazine tube. The walnut stock and forend have a hand rubbed oil finish with a crescent butt plate. The bluing on the barrel is still somewhat there, having turned to a brownish patina. The receiver has a mottled brown patina. The front and rear sights are by DW King. At some point in its life, a sight of some sort was mounted to the left side of the receiver. There are two threaded holes which are currently plugged. This was on a different 1894 (SRC) i already sold. There are not any non0factoryt holes drilled in this receiver. $1100 obo face to face in Nashville/Middle Tennessee region (I do travel to both west and east TN at times). Must be a Tennessee Resident able to legally own a firearm. DL or HCP flash.

  9. IIRC those old big block Chevys were known for wearing down cam lobes. Considering the cost of gas these days, I'd sell it as is for whatever you can get. You said it was inherited, so you won't be losing much. I'd consider that a much better option than throwing a bunch of money into a gas guzzler.

  11. I listed this one before. It's time for me to thin out my collection with what all I have going on. Here's a Custom Built S&W 25-2 45acp 3.5"Bbl with the K Frame Round Butt Conversion. This one started out as a 6"Bbl Model Target of 1955 and was cut down to a 3.5"Bbl and then had the K Frame Round Butt Conversion done. This one resembles a Jovino or Austin Behlert, but I don't think they did the work. Who ever did it they did a great job on it, I purchased this one from a gentleman who lives in MI. who I've bought a few from. This one came out of his personal collection and he couldn't remember who he got it from. This one will come with everything shown in the pictures. The wooden Presentation Case is not orginal to the gun. Has Roger's Grips Stag Boot Grips and a set of S&W Wood Finger Groved Grips that came on it, also TK Moon Clips, set of S&W Cleaning and Screw Driver. $1350 CASH FTF for everythingshown. I live in the Whitehouse area and can meet locally around Goodlettsville, Hendersonville, Gallatin, and Nashville area but willing to drive a little to meet halfway for FTF.

  20. If you are a TFA Member, you are not subject to the new "rule", we, along with GOA joined Ken Paxton in their lawsuit (I am the named plaintiff in Tennessee) and we won the issue of gaining the temporary injunction. Members of either TFA or GOA or the Virginia 2A group are protected for now. I don't see how this stands. From the TRO issued by the Texas Court. TRO issued by Texas Court Here, three organizations (GOA, TFA, and VCDL) count Tormey — who has standing —as a member. ECF No.16-3 at 2. Moreover, TFA and VCDL have provided declarations evidencing that they have specific members “who will be impacted [by the Final Rule] because they have . . . bought and resold firearms, and wish to do so in the future without being improperly labeled as a ‘dealer’ in firearms.” ECF No. 16-5 at 3 (Declaration of C. Richard Archie); ECF No. 16-6 at 3–4 (Declaration of Philip Van Cleave). The same holds true for GOF. See ECF No. 16-4 at 4 (Declaration of Erich M. Pratt). And the GOA describes a former FFL whose retirement savings are now frozen in unsellable inventory. We are in a fight for our rights!

  28. You would think that putting a couple of large concrete block in front and rear to prevent this would be a reasonable expense. Of course, a good camera system with off-site storage is critical as well! I feel for these small business owners who are being targeted!

  29. I get that retail space isn't always easy to come by but it continues to amaze me how many gun stores are in traditional retail spaces with large panes of glass at the front that, even with security screens, are easily compromised. Especially being in the firearms business, security should be a higher priority. Security complacency is rampant all over many sectors and all it takes is one incident and when that complacency is visually obvious, it makes you a more likely target.

  30. Guns stores need to beef up their security, big time. Need to lock their guns in safe rooms. Theo owner of Specialty Arms did that after they robbed him and a thug burned him out. He has a safe room that is great. Concrete with rebar 2 ft thick on all sides with a big bank vault type door. He has not had any problems since he constructed that room. Edited to add; The Supreme Court has ruled you cannot shoot someone for stealing mere-property, not that I would want too, and the states will not do much to thief's even if they catch them.

  31. Just to add an observation. I ALWAYS want to get the red dot mounted as low as possible on a handgun. Adapter plates are a good mounting solution, but proper slide. milling seems to give the most desirable results From my point of view anyway

  36. They're keeping quiet about details, but rumors abound. Rumor has it that they got some major tax breaks by coming to Memphis. Politicians at work. New business makes them look good, but I have my doubts about this helping the local economy. Rumors also says they will be moving into the old Electrolux factory in SW Memphis and they got it pretty cheap. Not exactly a good part of town. I hope XAI will have armed security. I caught one little blurb on the news that said the place will require one million gallons of water and a poop load of electricity. I wish them luck with that. Just imagine. Artificial intelligence surrounded by natural stupidity.

  40. As a guy who has had a couple bad days, I'd suggest any "bad day" kit should focus on stuff for a long walk. 1 - for feet: Comfortable shoes, several pair of socks, moleskin, duct tape, foot powder, extra shoelaces. 2 - hydration: containers w/ at least 3 quarts of water, filter or iodine for more. 3 - clothing: season-appropriate outfit for long walk outdoors, hat, sunblock, and bug spray. 4 - medicine: stuff to treat pain, diarrhea, fatigue, and itching, also a minimal first aid kit and chap stick. 5 - general: TP. Flashlight. Radio. Rope or cord. Multi tool. Map of your area. Compass. Protractor. Money. Some food. An inexpensive general issue assault pack or backpack will normally hold this stuff.

  41. Two mom & pop gun stores were broken into recently. Looks like both happened in the early AM hours on two recent Saturday mornings. In both robberies the thieves drove stolen cars through the front of the store and cleaned out most of the guns/ammo. I wouldn't be surprised if it was the same crew. The owners of The Southern Bunker go to my church and they've only been open a little over a year. In fact, he was just getting his inventory built up and now they have no income until they get the repairs done and restock their shelves. It really sucks to see these scumbags make off with enough weapons/ammo to use in other crimes. The Southern Buner break in Bullseye Gun and Range break in
