It's nice to say I'll just buy everything I can afford, but like food gone to waste, I don't like the idea of buying guns that just sit there, especially new ones. Aside from taking up space, getting a CZ isn't a one time contained purchase considering I'd put at least a micro red dot on it. A decent plinker of a .22LR pistol is easier on cost, and diversifies my stable more than a Scorpion would. But yeah, I'll get the Scorpion too someday.4 points

Just read an article, in the Dillion Blue Press magazine/catalog. Do you know what to say or how to react if ATF showed up at your front door. This lawyer from Arizona, within the discussion, says it happens more than most people think. Would you know how to respond? I wouldn't. He gives 2 things to remember, after you have checked out the persons/agent's credentials and not just look at his or her badge. Make them show you their credentials. Then remember you have a right to not answer any questions, "Period", and most defiantly you should not. Then you do not have to agree to an on-property search of your house without a valid search warrant. He also advised to not allow them into your house at all and just close the door. Etiquette is not required nor being rude doesn't count either. Simply close the door. He says one must remember they are not there for a joyous evening tea or to just to chew the fat, so to speak. If they are on your front porch then they are on business, and by answering questions or allowing a search, without a valid search warrant, you will most likely end up only hurting yourself. Sounds good to me.3 points

Just remember lying to a federal government official is a federal crime that can receive up to 5 years in prison. Not giving advice here but if I had a fed do a knock and talk, as soon as they identified themselves, I would say I have nothing to say please leave my property and close the door.3 points

Ruger New Model Blackhawk "Buckeye" Edition For those unfamiliar this was a limited run issued by Ruger for Buckeye Sports in what I believe to be 1988-1989. As usual with limited runs they quoted only 500 of this model exists but I've never done the leg work to verify. I just know this one is new in the box and have been in my Ruger collection for a long time. Time to see if someone else wants to add it to theirs. Chambered for 38-40 / 10mm. The 10mm cylinder has never been spun and only left the wrap long enough for a pic. 6.5" barrel. It has the Buckeye blossom etched into the top strap to indicate the limited model and has a SN special to this run. Box isn't mint but really good for it's age. Only trade interest would be a collectible on my short list and those are pretty specific anymore. $1500 I'm in east tn but travel occasionally and I'm also not against shipping it if that's whats needed.2 points

That're worth about 800 bucks! Ain't screwin' with em when aftermarket are less than 2 bills & some elbow grease! A full set of good condition, original matching tins with caps, lights & fender tips is worth about 3½ GRAND right now! I'm occasionally dumb, but never knowingly stupid2 points

Great condition and a great shooter. Comes with 3 mags, Shadow Systems case, and angle adapting back straps. This is the Elite model with the slide cut windows, forward serrations, top serrations, optics cut, suppressor height sights, and bronze spiral fluted barrel. I will include a Polecraft OWB holster on a Tek-Lok adjustable belt attachment.1 point

I listed this one before. It's time for me to thin out my collection with what all I have going on. Here's a Custom Built S&W 25-2 45acp 3.5"Bbl with the K Frame Round Butt Conversion. This one started out as a 6"Bbl Model Target of 1955 and was cut down to a 3.5"Bbl and then had the K Frame Round Butt Conversion done. This one resembles a Jovino or Austin Behlert, but I don't think they did the work. Who ever did it they did a great job on it, I purchased this one from a gentleman who lives in MI. who I've bought a few from. This one came out of his personal collection and he couldn't remember who he got it from. This one will come with everything shown in the pictures. The wooden Presentation Case is not orginal to the gun. Has Roger's Grips Stag Boot Grips and a set of S&W Wood Finger Groved Grips that came on it, also TK Moon Clips, set of S&W Cleaning and Screw Driver. $1350 CASH FTF for everythingshown. I live in the Whitehouse area and can meet locally around Goodlettsville, Hendersonville, Gallatin, and Nashville area but willing to drive a little to meet halfway for FTF.1 point

My Winchester 94 finally arrived home Wednesday, after I freed it from layaway (along with a S&W I-Frame .32 long). I plan to refinish it. So @Snavebaexpect some questions from me, when I get started on this project. The serial number (188XXXX) indicates it was produced in 1952.1 point

I’ll toss out another vote for the Taurus TX22! Bought one several years ago and it quickly became my favorite .22. So much so, that I gave my Ruger MkII Target pistol to my dad. I just never shot it anymore, after buying the Taurus. I’m very interested in buying the TX22 Compact model now.1 point

I have a SW MP22c and the glock 44. I really enjoy my MP22c and it is a great suppressor host too. The glock 44 was a great training aid but I don't shoot it much as I am slowly moving away from glock and selling them off. Zero issues with the glock 44 but I would do the MP22c over it.1 point

Tough gun choices are unhealthy. You should find a way to get all of them.1 point

I grabbed a TX22 when they first came out years ago......what a great little gun. I have large hands and the grip fits very well. It is accurate and a fun plinker for just a few Benjamins.1 point

Of all the 22 pistols I’ve had my TX22’s are the most fun. Eyeballing the new TORO now. Addictive.1 point

Another nod to the TX22. I have several 22 pistols, including a couple of different Mark series Rugers. The TX gets shot more than all of the others combined.1 point

I was faced with the same decision recently and went with the TX-22. It gobbles up even the standard velocity .22 fodder without a hiccup.1 point

Taurus TX22. They just released their revised TORO version. I like it far better than my Sig P322 and it's cheaper.1 point

For fun and plinking uses, I like to Ruger Mark Series. The S&W Victory is pretty good too. Taurus TX22 is a pretty good gun too, and is a little better as a training aid in my opinion; if that’s something you are looking for1 point
