I listed this one before. It's time for me to thin out my collection with what all I have going on. Here's a Custom Built S&W 25-2 45acp 3.5"Bbl with the K Frame Round Butt Conversion. This one started out as a 6"Bbl Model Target of 1955 and was cut down to a 3.5"Bbl and then had the K Frame Round Butt Conversion done. This one resembles a Jovino or Austin Behlert, but I don't think they did the work. Who ever did it they did a great job on it, I purchased this one from a gentleman who lives in MI. who I've bought a few from. This one came out of his personal collection and he couldn't remember who he got it from. This one will come with everything shown in the pictures. The wooden Presentation Case is not orginal to the gun. Has Roger's Grips Stag Boot Grips and a set of S&W Wood Finger Groved Grips that came on it, also TK Moon Clips, set of S&W Cleaning and Screw Driver. $1350 CASH FTF for everythingshown. I live in the Whitehouse area and can meet locally around Goodlettsville, Hendersonville, Gallatin, and Nashville area but willing to drive a little to meet halfway for FTF.4 points

I live in the Whitehouse area and can meet locally around Goodlettsville, Hendersonville, Gallatin and Nashville area for FTF. Thanks for looking.3 points

I love Sako's. That is why I bought this even though I don't shoot this caliber. Since I never shoot this I thought I would pass it on to someone who would actually use it. It is a 1967 L61R Sako Finnbear in 338 Win Mag. Overall it is in great shape. The bore is nice and shiny. Another reason I bought this is because it had all of the original paperwork from when it was first ordered. Just made it a little more cool in my eyes. It also comes with period scope bases and a box of Hornady Precision Hunter ammo. Not really looking for trades right now. $1000 $9002 points

Tough gun choices are unhealthy. You should find a way to get all of them.2 points

Thanks for the recommendations, all. I knew I'd get solid recommendations to consider. Lots of love for the Taurus', though I can see why. I'll have to whittle down the plethora of TX22 offerings to one I like. Then I'll have to make a choice between a .22LR handgun, or a CZ Scorpion 3+. Tough life for me, folks.2 points

You sir, have excellent taste in style - the feathers would really set the tone. And of course the requisite skipping into the restaurant would make it classy.1 point

I know there's another thread on this topic where I posted but my Googlefu is weak this morning... ETA Found it, I think: https://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/130127-new-tooltoy/#comment-1713754 I have a Taurus 22 compact that I run a Holosun 407 on, had it since July 2023 . I stopped counting rounds somewhere around 5K and probably have between 7-10 K through it at this point. I bring it to the range a couple of times a week and plan to shoot it later today. There have been several "ammo failure to ignite", but it was old questionable .22 RF ammo and happens with any gun...bad RF ammo is bad RF ammo. I've still had the one failure to feed I've mentioned before and that was with Federal Punch. Caleb Giddings warned of that particular ammo in this particular series having difficulty feeding because of the blunt tip/nose. I've run a lot of Mini-mags and Stingers with 100% reliability. Plus lots of bulk Remington, Federal, and multiple other vendor's ammo with no problems. An added plus from my viewpoint if the TX .22 compact fits my Dale Fricke holsters for my Glocks. I remain pleasantly surprised and quite happy with my little bargain .22 pistol. ETA: rereading the linked thread it looks like I had 2 failures to feed...didn't mean to mislead...1 point

Another nod to the TX22. I have several 22 pistols, including a couple of different Mark series Rugers. The TX gets shot more than all of the others combined.1 point

I have a P22 and a Buckmark. No complaints with either. The P22 is a lot lighter, and easier to carry. It likes Minimags.1 point

Do you have anything that will accept a 22 conversion kit ? 1911, Kimber, Glock, etc. Cheap way too add a 22 to the range bag1 point

If you were close to east Tn I would take it Have one like it with fiber optic sights. Love it. So accurate free bump1 point

Hard to beat a S&W Victory. Not much to look at but once you shoot one you’ll see why they’re so popular. Mine with a Vortex Venom on top goes to the range every time. In fact, it stays in the range bag.1 point

The Ruger Mark guns are neat, but to me their design makes disassembly unreasonably difficult. If I were buying a .22 just for fun, I might go with a Ruger Charger.1 point
