  2. PSA: If you request me to hold something for you because you need to save up the funds, there will be a 50% nonrefundable deposit. I hate to do this because I expect more from this community but a couple of you have asked me to hold something for weeks only to then attempt a ghosting and/or come back with some Spaceballs-level financial excuse. So, moving forward, any holds longer than 24 hours will require a 50% nonrefundable deposit. Your excuses, no matter how tragic or absurd, will not suffice. You will also provide me with an email address and sign a deposit agreement stating such. I pay to be a part of this community with the understanding that we are above the rabble on other websites. Act accordingly.

  4. Are you too cool for an AR-15? Do you already have too many of them? Do you need more classic wood stocked goodness in your life? This is the gun for you. Has less than 200 rounds, comes with sling. No mag with it so I’m reducing price by $50. Depending on what you want mags are $14-$30.

  6. Sky is the limit on what you "could" get for lures....seriously, you could spend some cash just grabbing the color you like in every lure. 1 of each can become 100 lures easily. Go to Walmart, grab a few things and go fishing. If you like the looks of it or it's your favorite color or you saw a YouTuber use it, buy it and go fishing. If fishing is going to be a relaxing time waster, than waste time fishing with worms, corn, bread or biscuit dough. Don't need fancy lures to catch fish.....

  20. Bad news and good news. The bad news is that I had a baffle strike last range trip. The good news is that Silencerco has great warranty service. I got an RMA from them and shipped it off not sure what to expect. They received it Tuesday and sent it back my way today, Thursday! It's scheduled for delivery on Wednesday next week. Thats crazy fast! I went shooting with the wife and shot a couple hundred rounds of 300 Blackout with no problem. Then I attached the piston and shot maybe another 200 rounds of 9mm. I checked the suppressor for tightness after each magazine. I didn't notice anything until we were packing up. When I removed it, the end cap had 2 distinct notches where it was impacted. I didn't check the baffles until I got home as it was still pretty hot and we were traveling. When I got home and disassembled it the next day I took of the end cap and to my relief there seemed to be no damage. Then I removed the extension baffles and there was a strike on the one baffle. I don't understand how the 3rd from the last baffle was struck but not the 2 in the extension. Weird! Glad I'll have it repaired and back in my hands soon. Kudos to Silencerco for the crazy fast turnaround. -southernasylum

  25. If you're bringing them in town and don't mind a drive, have them stay at the Opryland Hotel. Most folks are in awe of it. You can drink, dine, party or "shudder" walk to the mall. You'll pay a pretty penny downtown anyways, why not pay the same and have a tourist attraction that's more than just honky tonks and dirty glasses? Make 2nd/broad an excursion with an uber.

  26. You can rest assured that no Board Member or Director of TFA draws one penny from our funds. They are used to support good candidates, oppose bad ones and for our litigation only. All of the trips I make to Nashville, all of the speeches I give across the state are on my own dime and own time. I do not get reimbursed for gas, meals or hotels.

  28. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics only 1.7% of workers make minimum wage. The harm of raising minimum wage isn't just in forcing companies to pay more for labor than it's worth for under 2% of the workforce. The harm is that most union labor contracts contain automatic pay increases when minimum wage increase and the industries that rely on unskilled minimum wage labor see drastic hits on their labor costs, forcing huge price increases that consumers won't pay (resulting in fewer jobs for unskilled workers).

  31. Last time I went I just used worms. Like I said I'm just trying to find more relaxing hobbies that don't drain the bank. Plus, my daughter went a few times and liked it and I get to laugh at her messing with the worms. A neighbor gave her a gave her a kids pole and a full size bright purple rod. I was rocking the bright purple figured I need to get one she will be ready for the full size soon enough.

  34. Thanks for the replies and info. S I L will get it today. His 31 Y O son, who has "Downs Syndrome", wanted his mother to wrap the pistol box in pink paper. She did. His dad picks at Cody all the time. A little payback never hurts. His whole family will be here at 1:00 for lunch. BBQ and Fried Chicken, cheezie Mack n cheese, baked beans, salad ranch dressing, Coconut cream pie and B Day Cake, you know, Man food guys. My birthday today also, 76 today. Just never figured I would be here for this day. I am blessed by God. Bible says man's normal allotted days, baring accident or health, are three score and 10 (70 Years). Or if blessed four score (80 Y O). I AM TRAVELING BLESSED TIME GUYS. Jesus Christ is the way. (John 3:16-17) For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through Him. Life is good for me today. I have accomplished the things necessary to put myself into the position to be able to take advantage of God's saving grace, through faith, in His Son Jesus. Put simply, I am on the way to heaven, today. Can't wait to see Son In Laws face getting a 12" square Pink Box that he has no Idea what is in it. We goanna have a big laugh, together!

  35. I picked up a Rossi rs22. light weight, shoots fine and I don't care if it gets beat up. I did find the mag had some burrs that had to be cleaned up before it would run reliably. Have yet to try the Mossberg mags to see if they are better.
