I understand the hesitation but I haven't used the factory magazines since I got the Shield mags 3 years ago.2 points

I owned this gun, and I can tell you this it is a tack driver. Who ever gets this one you'll definitely be pleased with it. Free bump for a great rifle.2 points
-
I think not. Your complicating the process to get to the same benefits, while adding weight and balance issues. I've had xl's and macro's and I preferred the XL's2 points

Shovelheads came from the factory with hydraulic lifters, and I found they worked great. I never understood why anyone would switch to solid lifters with all their noise. But to each his own!1 point
-
I'm quite fond of shovel heads myself. Solid lifters. Might sound like it's coming apart but they run awesome and are dependable. Plus, you can use Chevy points if you need to in a pinch.1 point

UPDATE: Well, I couldn't pass it up. 5 grand, 23k on the clock & a full, detailed, dealer service history & the engine is completely stock. She runs like a sewing machine too. An absolutely perfect example of a tart's handbag. Unfortunately, I have no idea how it rides because the seals blew out of the front master cylinder, unloading it from the trailer But, silver lining, that's given me the time & opportunity to eighty-six all the tassels (there were soooo many tassels!) ditch the front fender & turn signals, & lower the rear end 2" I've got wider, flatter handlebars ordered, a pair of fishtails, air cleaner & carb jets & needles, along with a new rear fender, gas tanks, Le Pera Barebones seat (I sold the original for an obscene amount) & about 4 gallons of black paint. I'd planned on chopping & painting the original tins, but then I saw how much they sold for on ebay (significantly more than half of what I paid for the bike! ) and mine are literally unmarked. Not a single blemish in the paint, at all. This is how she's sitting as of 5pm tonight (minus the seat) About an hour after I took that, the exhaust heat shields got the matte black treatment.1 point

I second Jeff43, I have bought most of my steel from https://shootingtargets7.com They use flat rate boxes so their shipping is reasonable but the mailman don't like their boxes much. If you get on their mailing list they send out all their sales, and they have lots of them. They have nice charts to help you buy the right thickness for what you plan to shoot. Since I shoot a bit of everything on my range I color code my targets Green handle anything I own, Yellow carbines and handguns, red .22 only. If you make everything for the biggest caliber they don't ring that well on lower caliber. As long as your buying targets, I found that just buying what ever paint was cheap didn't cover well and in the long run cost more than good paint. I found https://www.rangestore.net that sells high pigment target paint in a bunch of colors. They cover fast and a can last awhile.1 point

Increased consumer spending is just another sign that Bidenomics is working and the economy is booming. If you think otherwise then you are a bigot, racist, transphobe.1 point

I always knew this had been going on a long time. The Bible gives an example which occurred around 600BC. 1 Samuel 13, verses 19-20 "There were no blacksmiths in the land of Israel in those days. The Philistines wouldn't allow them for fear they would make swords and spears for the Hebrews. So whenever the Israelites needed to sharpen their plowshares, picks, axes or sickles, they had to take them to a Philistine blacksmith." Verse 21 talks about the fees (or tax) assessed for sharpening these tools in order to make them functional. 1. Disarm the peasants 2. Limit the ability for peasants, through high cost fees and/or taxes, to maintain any item as personal defensive or offensive weapon 3. Make sure only those loyal to the rulers are armed .gov has been attempting to disarm us for almost 3000 years1 point

Here's a pic of my meager Colt collection. I'm afraid that they only pic of the Python I have currently. That's it at the top. I hear ya about the S&Ws. I have a safe full of 'em and there ain't a single lock in the bunch. I only have one with any MIM parts. S&W ain't what they used to be.1 point

Well, fellas, this one hurts. The only reason I’m selling this is an ongoing legal battle with the douche bag Contractor that screwed me out of a bunch of money . time to pay the lawyer. 03 450 exc (electric or kick start) Clean Tennessee title KKE supermoto wheels with cheap but functional Shinko tires along with factory dirt wheels and tires. It is currently set up in dirt configuration, me and my boy went to the farm to ride last weekend, but I can swap it back to super Moto if you desire it’s fairly easy Bought this probably two years ago it set for a while just didn’t have the time to invest in it. When I got it, I cleaned the carburetor gave an oil change and replaced the sprag clutch on it ( electric start clutch) then let it sit for a while. Started messing around with it about a month ago and I put a new chain and sprocket set on it. Runs good the carb could use a little adjustment But nothing major it ran just fine at the farm. Of course, this thing is a blast in the dirt , but it is an absolute riot and super Moto form. I actually prefer it over my speed triple but my speed triple is sentimental so I can’t let it go. Let me know if you guys have any questions or I can get you more pictures located next to Opry Mills mall SOLD1 point
