  7. Putting this back up for sale: I have a pretty darn nice, lightly used Smith & Wesson M&P10 in .308 Winchester or 7.62x51NATO that I am putting up on the for sale. I have shot probably 50 rounds through it, would be surprised if the previous owner shot many more. Looks like almost new, some handling marks. I'm not an AR afficionato so I don't know much about it or what to look for. I have disassembled to remove the bolt and look at it but that is it. It has a nice floating heat shield installed but comes with the stock one. M-Lock angled foregrip installed on it. Has some nice Troy Industries flip up sights that will go with it as well. 5 Mags with 1 all metal 10 round mag. It is a nice rifle, with everything included, in the bag, ready to go, first $1,300.00 takes it OBO. Trade interest: Benelli/HK 12 guage semi-auto

  10. For sale only. No trades. I traded for this bike last October and I love it but times are hard and I need to free up some cash. The bike is in near-perfect shape (a few small scratches but no damage). May have had some tuning done by a previous owner, given the Screamin' Eagle box in the saddle bag. The 96 engine honestly is smoother than the 103 on my Fat Bob. I love riding this thing; it's like riding a Lay-Z Boy recliner. It's tricked out with cruise control, passing lamps, and all the saddle bags, back rest, engine guards, bag guards, Vance and Hines pro pipes, clear windscreen faring, etc. that you see here. It has two keys and a security key fob that works perfectly. I'll even throw in a Harley XL leather jacket. This is the ultimate in old school cool. I earnestly believe the Road King to be the best HD motorcycle available; it's the smallest of the touring chasses yet it has none of the "modern" features of the Street Glides or Road Glides. All that cool whiz bang digital tech is cool but, let's be honest, in a few years, most of it will be outmoded. The Road King Classic is just that: CLASSIC. No digital stuff or satellite crap to get outdated and useless in six years. Nothing to obscure your view of the road (yes, it has the clear windscreen faring that can be attached). Just you, the machine, and the open road. There's a real "romance" to the Road King Classic that makes it timeless in its vintage awesomeness. Mileage: 15,051 Clean and clear title in hand. Asking price is $12,000. These are collectible and will appreciate if you take care of it. I don't ride the Road King Classic as much as I thought I would. Most of my trips are an hour or so and I find myself taking the Fat Bob more often than not. The 105th Anniversary bikes with the "Duracell" paint job were special editions that Harley would do. This one is one of those limited editions; it's #1888 of 3000 they made that year. Honestly, they'll never make them like this again. There are zero problems with the bike. I am not selling it because I want to dump it; I need the funds. I had it inspected by Moonshine Harley last year and also had them pull the service record. I can provide all of those as well. It is in tip-top shape. This is a great legacy bike that has plenty of decades left in its lifespan and many tens of thousands of miles before you'll need to do anything other than change the oil (and probably the tires at some point). I have put maybe 3K miles on it since I've owned it. It floats on the road. I thought I'd take it on longer trips but I just don't have the time and the Duracell color is not my vibe. But it shifts and accelerates smoother than my Fat Bob and has no trouble keeping up with traffic on the interstate. You can test ride it if you have your M Class and are willing to part with a damage deposit in case you drop it. I honestly don't think I need to mention that, since most people who are interested in these are probably HD aficionados and have been riding for years. But you never know and it can't hurt to say it, so here we are. Message me through here or call/text 615-300-3074 for a faster response. Bike is located in Spring Hill. I'm willing to answer any questions you might have.

  17. If it's a currently or recently produced piece, 90% of the time you can find it cheaper online somewhere. Not necessarily here but there are plenty of "like new" private party firearms available where the asking price is higher than new from an online retailer. Haggling is a dead art form and humans are a pain to deal with so ordering a mass produced pew pew from a faceless website and having it shipped to my local FFL who I end up BSing with for hours every time he has a transfer for me. The choice is simple. If it's out of production, well, good luck and godspeed.

  19. thought I'd kick this out. I read the funny stuff every day. A few members had commented on a Muscle car pic posted. I was 7 years old when Hot Wheels came out, I had some of the originals until my second divorce. I grew up with muscle cars, hot rods and choppers. (and long hair, bell bottoms, and all the other stuff) I am a machine nut. I love mechanical stuff for whatever reason. I have seen all of these cars new, ridden in a lot, and even drove a few. I remember all of the styles we have gone through. Read Hot Rod and Car Craft religously in my younger days. Looking back at some of the stuff makes me cringe but it was whatever was in style at the time. One post I read today was about keeping these old rides original specifically tire/wheel combos. And if that is what you like great! I was a hot rodder, nothing stayed factory original if I owned it and 99% of the old cars were modified. On the specific of tire/wheel combos, remember, a LOT of the muscle cars were ordered with the cheapest OE stuff because they were getting aftermarket "mags" on the day after delivery. There's a segment now that is rebuilding these as "day two" street cars with air shocks and tires sticking out 4 inces from the quarter panels. I remember this and don't like it. We have the skills and tech to keep the ride height down and narrow the rear so that it all fits. And this actually WORKS better so if you are going to modify, why not do it the way it SHOULD have been originally? That's just my opinion of course. Anyway, I could never buy an original survivor or restored muscle car because I'd modify it and drive the hell out of it. That's what they were built for. Same reasoning for my not buying unfired collectable firearms that I would love to own, I'd shoot it. So after all the rambling, what is your favorite muscle car and why? Would you restore original or modify it? Yes, the 1970 Coronet R/T is the top of my list without question or Challenger. 70 Challenger is in the top 5 as is 70 Cyclone. And all MUST have a big block.
