  2. My oldest daughter is the tracker in our family. She likes to know where everyone is - and people knowing where she is. I have a deal with my children that goes in the reverse as well. Any of them can text a single letter to me, and they’ll get a phone call a couple of minutes later stating that there is a family emergency at home and that I need to come get them from where they are right now. This gives them an immediate out that’s not on them if they ever find themselves in a situation where they’re uncomfortable - or see it going that way. There are some other adults in my kids lives - and some of other kids in mine who can do this and get a similar immediate response. I’m thankful for the community in my life.

  4. Excellent condition, my wife's S&W 642 with Crimson Trace grips and 80 hand-loaded rounds of 110gr Hornady XTP bullets at +P pressure: $450 firm I bought this for my wife around 2008, and she has never carried it - nor has she shot it very much. A good guess would be under 300 rounds through it from my kids and myself. I'm pretty sure the original box is somewhere in the attic. I should also have the original grips in the box as well. Sale is limited to established members only, so no low post counts. Fraudsters need not try! I'm willing to meet for transaction at either Murfreesboro's, or Lebanon's, police station parking lot if'n ya don't want ta come to my house. PM me if interested. I'll answer any questions that I can, but there isn't much of a history with this one.

  5. Whatever works for you is the best. I tell ya one thing , the Ruger LCP .380 makes it so easy to run to the parts store , grocery store , or dollar store. It fits right in the front pocket with a DeSantis pocket holster. I've been doing this for over 8 years. It's so much easier than belting-up an holstering-up a bigger gun. I will say that when we go to more populated places and pack the bigger tools.

  6. I think I bought your .458 Socom back in 2013. Good to see you around again.

  7. I think of that Ruger every time I think of Jeff lol. Didn't get to shoot it but got to hold it if its the same one you're talking about. IIRC he was working on a 458 socom which would have been a "newish" AR at the time. Wish I could have hauled the entire "build room" back to my place lmao.

  8. I coveted that thing in my heart back in the day. I’m sure David would’ve sold it to me. That thing was just a treat to shoot.

  9. We tracked the kids in high school. From the stories the girls tell on him now, it didn’t stop my son from being a sneaky hell raiser. Now, every family member shares their location if traveling out of town alone. My son had a crazy flight this morning from Gainesville to Miami to New Jersey. He checked in each step of the way, and is currently sharing his location until he arrives back in Gainesville next week. There is no daily tracking. That reeks of insecurity. A complimentary notification of destination is all that’s required between me and the wife when leaving home.

  10. Our kids aren’t old enough to venture out any further than the neighborhood independently, but we do not utilize any sort of personal tracking software at all. Of course the kids (12&7) don’t have any personal electronic devices either.) Have no plans to as of now. I have a pretty immediate and intense visceral repulsion to the idea to be honest.

  15. Just a basic 15-22. I have several .22 rifles and this one is one of my favorites. Only selling because I bought a threaded barrel model to run a suppressor on. I've had this one for a few years and have had zero issues with it. I do have the box. $350 in Lebanon

  19. I used to '67 Corvette, but, you know, Jill and I, we had a fire, and well anyway, with a barrel, we have, in relative terms, a very large plastic and metal in Delaware relative to our population, and then you take evidence with you, I mean c'mon man, it was with my Corvette. But anyway...

  20. Just make sure you have that "don't sell my data" privacy option turned on in life360. That's not foolproof like any other privacy setting. Companies only add options like that when they are legally obligated...but at least that part is obvious if you go look.

  25. This is how we did it. If the kids did not answer a message was left with the warning, "CALL ME, NOW". When they turned 18 we had the talk, "Yall are 18 now, cops do not call me, you have to". Things have gone well, son just turned 33, daughter is 31.

  27. All my family is on Life360. We don't use it to watch people but to let us know where we are. Its been very helpful. Me and the wife do have to intentionally not invade the kids space, but they can see us too. It works for us. My kids are 21, 19, 17, and 14. I think it helped that we started it as a way for them to know where me and my wife were, when they were younger and they couldn't drive. It's good accountability if nothing else.

  30. Two more form 4s submitted today. We will see how long they take. My FFL told me he had an individual form 4 (mine are on a trust) recently come back in three days. He has seen form 4s on a trust come back in three weeks since the ATF updated the e-form system. Fingers crossed.

  31. Finally got to run some rounds through the K6S. It shoots as nice as it looks. The combat grips are a must, if you want to shoot it very much. Carries extremely well. Light, tight, and barely noticeable. I got Garret Holsters to make their Silent Thunder STX 2.0 for it. This is my favorite OWB holster for semi autos.... and now revolvers. 38's were very manageable. Won't say it was .22 light shooting but it wasn't 9mm shooting either. 357 is snappy but not too much to handle. Very impressed with the trigger. DA was very nice and, SA was extremely nice. I did add xs sights and they worked as well as semi auto sights. Best revolver sights ever. It's a keeper.

  33. This was our 120 pound lab. The wife said no dog in the house and absolutely not on the furniture, yet here he is. He passed at only 3 years old from cancer. It's been a a couple of years, but still not ready to replace him, he was a good one.

  36. I'd argue the reverse is more likely. My sister-in-law had twins. They had to induce because the girl had pinched the boy's umbilical cord and his vitals were degrading. My comment was... "so it begins". It wasn't well received.
