  1. A couple more followed me home. Pictures as soon as they are cleaned up. 1907 Winchester model 1894 in 38-55. 25” octagonal barrel with full length mag tube. Well used with most of the blueing gone to a brown patina. 1927 Winchester Model 94 on 30wcf. 22” octagonal barrel, 3/4 length mag tube. Better condition, the barrel is beautiful (possibly a re-barrel sometime in its past). It is actually a buddies but I am cleaning it up. Soon to be here a really really ugly and rough 1951 Marlin 336RC. Should be a waffle top. Not sure and don’t know if it has been tapped for a scope (hope not) as there were no photos of the top of the receiver. “Gunsmith special”. It was a bit of a gamble. But should be a fun project.

  5. The sheaths have been wet molded to that specific knife. Care much be taken when installing/removing the knife as to not cut/damage the leather. I've removed and installed the knives at least 15 times so I know it can be done. The sheath and knife come as package for $155 each. Additionally, knives should never be stored in leather sheaths for extended periods as leather holds moisture and will rust carbon steel knives and may even discolor/stain SS knives. Let's face it SS means "stain less" and not "stain proof". 4.2 MM thick Bohler SS with a Rockwell hardness of 59-60. Each knife is 8 3/4" long with a blade of 4". N690 steel is cobalt-enriched stainless steel manufactured by Bohler, an Austria steel company. This steel is high in carbon and chromium elements with the addition of cobalt for consistency. N690 steel alloy contains high amounts of chromium making it stainless steel. It also has fine grain composition that enables the blade steel to remain sharp for a long time even after exposure to prolonged tough applications. Bohler N690 steel’s ability to withstand stress is a favorite choice for knife makers. It is used to make outdoor knives including, tactical, camping, hunting, and bushcraft knives. 1. 8. Price dropped to $600. Looking to move my Colt Detective Special. The colt serial lookup dates it as a 1969. Carried a lot in a pocket holster, shot very little. Its a post-66 short frame, good shape, some bluing wear from carry, and a ding in the right side stock. Shoots good, and a dandy pocket gun or collectible. Moving on to different things. $600 around Knoxville, Lenoir City, Oak Ridge, etc.

  9. Excellent condition, my wife's S&W 642 with Crimson Trace grips and 80 hand-loaded rounds of 110gr Hornady XTP bullets at +P pressure: $450 firm I bought this for my wife around 2008, and she has never carried it - nor has she shot it very much. A good guess would be under 300 rounds through it from my kids and myself. I'm pretty sure the original box is somewhere in the attic. I should also have the original grips in the box as well. Sale is limited to established members only, so no low post counts. Fraudsters need not try! I'm willing to meet for transaction at either Murfreesboro's, or Lebanon's, police station parking lot if'n ya don't want ta come to my house. PM me if interested. I'll answer any questions that I can, but there isn't much of a history with this one.

  11. Been looking for good . 357 carry revolver and was curious about the K6S or a King Cobra. Willis68 had both and I got to handle them both and both are fantastic. The K6S was just so light, thin, slim, and modern feeling. At the same time, it felt solid and tight. I really liked the looks of the 2" barrel but really liked the increased ballistics of the 3". I got to say this is the most carriable 3" revolver I've ever held. Excited to get it to the range.

  16. Thanks for the replies so far. Just learned that this will probably be gifted to me instead of me purchasing it. The owner is a recent widow and I have done some odd jobs for her so this is her appreciation for my help. If I do accept it, I will probably list it here in the classifieds. Really do not need a another .38. Please keep the replies coming! Thanks again

  22. IMO you would be lucky to get the revolver for $200. That would be a bargain. I would say more like $350. to 450. this day in time. Just purchased a new in the box S W 686 + 3" and shelled out 999,00. The revolver is worth whatever you decide to pay for it. If you want it, purchase it and don't look back. IMO worth more than the 2 mark, but it is your "Lollie" at stake here.

  24. Length Height Width Weight G19 Gen5 7.28 in 5.04 in 1.34 in 23.81 oz MR920 7.13 in 5.25 in 1.25 in 21.5 oz Yes. I have both and carry the MR920. Height difference is the site height. From slide down to the end of the grip they are the same. Will it drop into a G19/17 holster? Depends on the manufacture really. For the most part leather is 100% fine and kydex sometimes maybe.

  30. I didn't get sued, but the guy lived due to our actions. He should not have. He died in the ambulance on the way to life flight and died in the helicopter, but they got him back. His parents left a message crying and thanking us. We bounced without giving our name, but someone tracked us down.

  34. I'm kind of the opposite, but then again I don't have a whole lot of revolver attachment. I was torn between a western style SA revolver to go with my lever gun (.357) and a pragmatic revolver in .357 to pair with my lever gun. The modern feel of the K6S was a huge bonus for me, even though I like the looks of the western style. Particularly over the feel of the King Cobra. If I got stuck with one rifle and long gun platform and ammo wasn't an issue, I would go with this setup. A .357 revolver and a 16" .357 lever.

  35. This is one beautiful Henry 45-70. Side-gate or tube load, large loop gives plenty of room for shooting gloves. Rubber butt pad softens the recoil. Comes in the box with factory paperwork. Quality pics won’t upload for me. Text for more pics and close up video. Must be legal to own a long gun. Text is fastest. 615-504-1491. It’s for sale $1000

  36. Yesterday, six friends and myself, piled into a van and went to Louisville, KY. for the annual "Show of Shows" at the Ky Expo Center. We went last year and were hooked. It is absolutely unbelievable. Anyway, while there, I channeled my inner "Snaveba" and found this Winchester 1886 in 45 - 70 at a price I could not pass up. I have been wanting to get something in that caliber for some time, so this sort of allowed me to scratch a couple of itches at once. Have not shot it yet, but hopefully that will be in near future. I want to add a tang sight and Marbles makes a really nice one that allows adjustment for both elevation and windage. However, it is going to require drilling a hole in the tang and they recommend a gunsmith to do this. I am not set up for such an endeavor. Do any of you know of a good and reliable gunsmith in mid-state area that might do this?

  38. I SHOULD like revolvers. I have every reason TO like them. Reliability and accuracy alone speak for themselves. Plus, what's cooler than a .357 really? See, now I want one. Can someone please convince my wife?

  39. I am a revolver guy. Like yours a bunch, Smith. I recently purchased a new 686 + from outpost in the Boro. It is stainless and IS a 7 shot with a 3" brl also. My EDC is a 7 shot Taurus 617 38/357 2" brl which I carry Corbon DPX 357 ammo in. The 686 is a little large for pocket carry. I pocket carry the Taurus when I am out of bed. I have an alloy frame 617 which is much lighter 7 shot, but only in 38 Spl. If I feel a need for more ammo on board, I carry a S W MP 9C 9MM IWB 15 shot and 4" brl or a Ruger Max 9 13 shot in my pocket. I do not feel under gunned with the 7 round revolver and I also carry one reload, always, in a strip in my back pocket. This is my current carry firearms and has been for 4 years. Practice with all 3, but not on the same days. I always concentrate on one at a time. "Smitty", hope you enjoy your new revolver. Looks fine guy!

  40. I'm not a revolver guy, but I like that a lot! How about a range report? *edit* Looked it up. $1200!!! See this is why I'll never own a revolver. I want one but that's to much for my own novelty.
