  1. Thanks for the replies and info. S I L will get it today. His 31 Y O son, who has "Downs Syndrome", wanted his mother to wrap the pistol box in pink paper. She did. His dad picks at Cody all the time. A little payback never hurts. His whole family will be here at 1:00 for lunch. BBQ and Fried Chicken, cheezie Mack n cheese, baked beans, salad ranch dressing, Coconut cream pie and B Day Cake, you know, Man food guys. My birthday today also, 76 today. Just never figured I would be here for this day. I am blessed by God. Bible says man's normal allotted days, baring accident or health, are three score and 10 (70 Years). Or if blessed four score (80 Y O). I AM TRAVELING BLESSED TIME GUYS. Jesus Christ is the way. (John 3:16-17) For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through Him. Life is good for me today. I have accomplished the things necessary to put myself into the position to be able to take advantage of God's saving grace, through faith, in His Son Jesus. Put simply, I am on the way to heaven, today. Can't wait to see Son In Laws face getting a 12" square Pink Box that he has no Idea what is in it. We goanna have a big laugh, together!

  3. Keep extra decapping pins, especially if using military calibers. nothing sucks more than to plan your alone time to reload, get everything set out and ready, nice cup of coffee ready, good music going and then breaking a pin on a crimped primer or berdan case that snuck in, about 5 cases into it on a Sunday, when nothing is open to get a replacement, you live an hour away from the nearest store that carries such things anyway, and boom. Your done for the day. Ask me how I know. The dog gets to learn some new words. Only other thing i didn't see mentioned was save and USE your books. New books contain good info and I do buy them but the old books contain calibers the new books drop. You end up with quite the library and gives you good cross reference data. Don't think you will save money. You can tell the wife that, but it ain't true, LOL. I load for accuracy and satisfaction not to mention some odd calibers that good factory ammo is not available or difficult to find.

  4. Much like a vehicle you're better off spending more money on one where you can get a record of it's history. There are several equipment auctions in TN or at least this part of the county several times a year and some will provide background. Many times to the original owner. As far as what to look in a private sale look for the things that are "wearable" items. Tires or tracks, hydraulics, joystick controls if it has them, engine hours of course, if tracked look at replacing them and the idlers as if the machine your buying needs them immediately. Many neglect the tracks and allow them to bake in the sun and while they look ok sitting still working it in the dirt is a different story. My brother searched for a long time and we looked at enough machines to make your head spin before he said F it and bought new. He got what he wanted down to the extra attachments but he's also sending them a nice check every month. Maintenance cost can really run up there if you are using it as a "hobby" and have nothing to depreciate or write off. Another item I encounter on the farm and commercial mowing routinely is when something goes from being worked day to day to sitting 1/2 the time is parts that leak simply from sitting. Same as valves that get stuck in your old hot rod from not running it enough it can turn into a PITA real quick if you need it to perform a task at the drop of a hat. I just love needing to bale hay, hays cut, tedded, and dry on the ground, and the baler is having a moment and you spend 2 days repairing it only to have it rain and have to start over lol.

  7. For Sale Spanish FR7 Rifle, 7.62x51, Bolt Action. The FR7 is a Spanish M93 Mauser Variant made in the 1950s. These are neat little rifles with an interesting story behind them. They are a factory mix of Mauser Action and CETME Barrel. They make great truck guns. Selling to help fund another build. Middle Tennessee $425

  9. Walked into the lions den and did an interview with Van Jones, it will air next Sunday night at 8:00 Central. Jones is a Jackson, TN native and a graduate of UT Martin. An avowed communist, his crowning accomplishment was his tenure as Obama's "Green Jobs Czar", (from which he had to resign) now a commentator on CNN. The interview on my part lasted over an hour and a half, I doubt there will be 5 minutes used in the program if that, but I gave as good as I got. This is the trailer...

  10. This is one beautiful Henry 45-70. Side-gate or tube load, large loop gives plenty of room for shooting gloves. Rubber butt pad softens the recoil. Comes in the box with factory paperwork. Quality pics won’t upload for me. Text for more pics and close up video. Must be legal to own a long gun. Text is fastest. 615-504-1491. It’s for sale $1000

  11. “Not bad thinking for an agnostic...” What does that even mean? Politics has no place in meddling with science just as religion has no business in politics.

  12. I’ve tried cropping it. That was the only one I could load. I tried one at a time as well going to try and email it next. I’ve had so many issues with the size the pics with my new iPhone.

  13. That has been around, just thought it was funny, sorry didn't mean to deceive. I did however take a guitar building class years ago and got to keep the clone strat that I built. So it's still a possibility. I'll bet that tele is a bit heavy.

  14. Tons of info both ways on the net. Science says green. Me personally, green. I do have red dots and will sell them when I replace them with green dots.

  15. $1.5 billion in cash on top of $1.4 billion in debt creates more problems than it solves - especially since so many of those underlying deals that Vista did in their roll up had significant debt too. Deals like this look a lot different in a non-zero interest rate world.

  19. In 2013 Midwayusa had a Black Friday sale for a month. One morning Wolf brass boxer primed 223 ammo was $259 per K. Free shipping on 5K. After placing my order I checked again, up to $329. I had to buy a rifle after they got here.

  21. I have 21 rounds of .250 savage ammo that I have no use for. Not sure where I acquired this, maybe it was my grandfathers, not really sure. It is free to whoever wants it. I go from maryville area to Roane county for work, so meet up in that area somewhere. There is some corrosion on some of the cases, but I’m sure it’s all still usable ammo. Looks like mixed Winchester and Remington.

  27. Barely used 2023 model CZ P-01. Comes with 2 15-round magazines and a kydex IWB holster. I also have the original palm swell grips. I’ve shot 30 rounds through it with no issues - it’s a very flat, soft shooter. $550. Spring Hill/Franklin

  29. Exactly. The fight has never been about the bumpstocks themselves. It was and is about the actions taken by the ATF (as instructed by the President at that time) in re-interpreting the law to fit a political end. It isn’t what they did, but how they did it. The only reason the mechanism by which the bumpstock functions matters is that it isn’t in line with the definitions in the text of the statute. It’s a much bigger deal than just these particular accessories. This case combined with Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo, No. 22-451 will hopefully be death of the imperial executive through Chevron Deference. The words in the statute mean specific things and the executive agencies have to be told that they can’t just decide that they mean whatever they want just because they feel like it.

  30. You can never say 100% for sure that any kid-- obedient, disabled, or not -- won't suddenly decide to go snooping in drawers, closets, etc. If there's a kid in the house regularly, I would strongly advise that any gun in the house should be in a safe or gun room, or secure on your person. Cheers, Whisper
