  3. After losing my 2 older Shepards in 2023, we brought home this fluff pup to regain some joy. His name is Shadow. He and our remaining shepard, Winchester are inseparable. A 2-year-old and a 2-month-old.....please pray for me LOL.

  7. You can never say 100% for sure that any kid-- obedient, disabled, or not -- won't suddenly decide to go snooping in drawers, closets, etc. If there's a kid in the house regularly, I would strongly advise that any gun in the house should be in a safe or gun room, or secure on your person. Cheers, Whisper

  10. Picked up one of these last show today was the day to take it for a test run. Shot a variety of ammo found it likes CCI and Blazer the best. Hated. Winchester and Remington. nothing but problems failures to feed stovepipes my Ruger mark 4 eats it no problem but not my Sig it has more refined taste. After I changed ammo she ran well the things I didn’t like was the trigger reset feels plastic Factory trigger was Ok definitely could be improved on. and it’s finicky about how you put in ammo you have to stack them not just drop them in they will turn straight up and there a pain to get out The sig came with Two triggers one curved one flat I shot the flat one Shot two targets 50 rounds thru each at 20 yards I won’t discuss the target that had Remington shot at it lol

  11. Barely used 2023 model CZ P-01. Comes with 2 15-round magazines and a kydex IWB holster. I also have the original palm swell grips. I’ve shot 30 rounds through it with no issues - it’s a very flat, soft shooter. $550 Spring Hill/Franklin

  15. This post was perfect timing as I just recently received a suppressor delivery from CA. Very happy with whole process and coming home to a suppressor at the door was great. Calling CA was so much better than calling Silencer Shop. I've got 2 more pending with CA. I used THP MATT PERRY, COLONEL for the law enforcement notification section. You choose who to use when filling out paperwork after purchase. Here's the timeline it took. Purchased 8/1/23 Certified 8/11/23 Approved 2/1/24 Delivered 2/25/24

  16. I finally shot my 1970 Marlin 1895 in 45-70. It didn’t kick quite as hard as I was expecting it to. I also shot the 1893 in 38-55. I like that rifle.

  22. FIFY! To the OP's question, It's just me and Mrs. 'lizard so I have them wherever I want. When we have adult company I make sure they're at least in drawers instead of just sitting on a counter or my desk, etc. In the rare times when a kid is in the house, everything goes in the safe or on me.

  24. Music City 4x4 has it. They diagnosed a worn drag link. Waiting on the part to arrive (RockJock CurrectLync). Should be done Thursday or Friday. Of course on Sunday morning I went to start it up to take it up there and *click* *click* . . . dead battery. I knew it was getting weak. Got an Interstate AGM from Costco and off to the races. Ordered a new AUX battery too. It's been dead/low for a while and likely what killed the main. I'll pull the passenger fender when I get the Jeep back and swap out that one.

  27. I order from SG ammo most of the time. Recently had an incident with the last snow. Ordered 9MM from SG and it was set to be delivered on 1-17 and the big snow happened. UPS was supposed to deliver on that day. The tracker said ammo was here in town, but they were unable to deliver it due to weather. Waited two weeks after and still no ammo. I sent message to SG and they gave me a total refund but told me they would not be able to give me a total refund if I did not take the offer of delivery insurance upon purchasing again. Got home on Feb 16th and the original ammo order was delivered a month late. Turns out United Parcel Service was just backed up and took time to catch up the backlog. I did contact S G Ammo and paid for the original order of ammo. Was the right thing to do. Edited to add; S G Ammo charges tax now but no freight on over 200,00 orders.

  36. You're right. In many circumstances one could just say, "Well, that's what they get for electing the liberal leaders that they do." However, New York state is a different beast. Much of the population of the state are conservative in their views and voting. But, the cesspool of NYC is such a massive juggernaut that it sways the states voting to the left regardless of what the folks in the hinterlands want.

  39. Another point to chew on. EVERYONE needs a permit, including LEO. That is true everywhere in the U.S. Constitutional/permitless carry within 1000 feet of school premises is a federal crime punishable by up to 5 years and/or up to a $5K fine everywhere in the U.S. The exception relevant here is a permit issued by the state (or city or county) in which the school zone is located AND that requires LE to do a check on the licensee to verify that they are qualified to hold the permit. There's also an exception for being on private property within the GFSZ. Careful readers will note that just having a state/city/county issued permit isn't enough. 1. It has to be issued by the state/city/county where the school zone is. If you are carrying out of your home state with your home state permit via reciprocity, be aware that every time you drive within 1000 feet of a school you are committing a federal crime. 2. The permit must be one that requires LE to do a check for eligibility/qualification. If your state/city/county issues permits upon request with no background check required, you are committing a federal crime any time you drive within 1000 feet of a school while carrying.
