  1. I know it's a long shot here, but I'd rather deal with most TGO folk than the general public. Starts easy and runs good, is not rideable as both the front and rear brakes need service. Clear title in hand, I can probably answer any specific questions. $12,000. Absolutely no trades. More pics available upon request.

  6. 2012 Toyota Tundra Crewmax. Other than a low payload rating and the inability to pass a gas station I really like it. With the price of newer vehicles I'll probably drive it for at least 20 years. I drive 9 miles each way to work so the gas bill isn't too bad.

  16. I use Sta-Bil fuel stabilizer. Readily available at most auto parts stores. Helpful tip: label your fuel cans with the date they were filled. Use to oldest first.

  20. 2023 GX460, traded in the '18 F150 FX4 before I started having issues with the F150. Still needed something to tow the boat with, and '23 was the last year for the reportedly bulletproof GX 460 with V8. I'm retired as well, so it sits out in the garage a lot. Not much difference in MPG's between the two, just the amount of "junk" I can carry at anyone time.

  22. Right. Desantis' team actually used an AI photo of Trump hugging fauci during his campaign. It was easy to spot, but it probably fooled a lot of people. Not an NPR fan, just pulled the first link from a search https://www.npr.org/2023/06/08/1181097435/desantis-campaign-shares-apparent-ai-generated-fake-images-of-trump-and-fauci

  25. I don't blame you for firing back in your own defense. Perfectly natural. No hard feelings from my end. I also don't get the obsession with her, but that's fame right? If only people could be so dedicated to better efforts in life. Myself included....

  26. I'd agree with that last statement. The controls that are / will be added are meant to prevent it. Want to be clear I am not promoting "porn", rather I am curious what some will do and what they will do despite the best efforts of the developers. Its how it evolves going forward. This idea of what is porn is too easy to trip over and there is a great deal of subjectivity to it. There will be mis-steps, but in the end it will end in a better place. I think the problem many have is how realistic some of these may look. It does not matter its fake, its just to close. In my mind I know its fake so I don't weight it heavily. Not to the point of having an impact on mankind. But I can respect some will see that differently. Photoshop is an example of something that has been around that allows this kind of thing, worse with real images. It has no bounds except the skill of the user. I bring that up as an example of the limited damage it has done. There is a parallel here. Tool vs person Bad actors taking something and doing a bad thing to have it censored or banned. Sound a little familiar.

  27. I’m actually with NBS here. The ability to use AI to create sexualized images of folks isn’t so much an exercise in misogyny as an affront to human dignity. It’s immaterial to whether the subject is male or female, creating p*rn of someone without their consent is wrong. Full stop.

  28. You know the weak never speak like that about anything in person They hide on the internet Remember when folks would be at the bar and someone said something like that? Then you watched them get broken bones I miss those days of on the spot physical litigation

  30. I’m late to the party, but thought I’d chime in for posterity. The definition of school in the state refers to public schools and state owned universities. As mentioned above, private locations such as preschools have the leeway to set forth their own policies. However, any location used as a school retains is prohibited status regardless of the presence of students. This includes offsite storage of athletic equipment in the summer. Additionally, any normally permissive location where school activities are taking place (such as a field trip) immediately becomes a prohibited location for the duration of the visit.

  36. 100LE AvGas is expensive but has a shelf life of 10+ years without additives. I try to keep 6-10 Gallons on hand and another 5 or so gallons of alcohol free gas that I add additives to. In our area many places carry alcohol free gas at a lower price than AvGas. Most smaller airports will sell you AvGas. Even though AvGas its 100 octane it burns fine in small engines and older engines, I run it in my Honda generator and chainsaw (with oil added), I use to ruin it in my 1949 8N tractor till I moved where corn free gas was easier to get. Since it has lead added don't use it in anything that has a catalytic converter.

  37. The liberals have hit a new, all time low. They're posting on social media that Toby was a racist, fascist and they're glad he's dead. Just shows you that liberals have no respect for anybody that disagrees with them, even the dead. "F" 'em!

  38. I guess Ontario was an “American company” in principle - but you’d have to stretch to really call It that. To my knowledge pretty much every knife they made was outsourced to China years ago. Now, there are some Chinese producers that are making decent production knives for cheap - and Ontario lost all their margin. That's a game you’ll never win

  40. I believe RRA's Chuck and Mark Larson learned their 1911 craft under Les Baer when they were all working in the Springfield Custom shop, then later when they joined Les when he started his own shop. Mark passed away back in 2013 but RRA survives. I have a 6" RRA and it's an excellent shooter, as you would expect.
