  1. SOLD! HK P7M13 comes with 3 magazines and wood grips. I bought this in 2000 in Knoxville when the range on Lovell Road was Guncrafter. According to online research one of the importers refinished these in hard chrome. I'm asking $2500. I will entertain offers. I am willing to trade for a Marlin 1895 Trapper in 45-70.

  2. We need to look in the mirror to understand what is wrong and why greed has closed so many good company's. As a people we want a "better" price on what we buy. "Value engineering" has and will be the down fall of "Made in America"! I AM AS GUILTY AS THE NEXT MAN!

  3. These two are made from 3mm thick (just shy of 1/8") 4116 Stainless Steel. OAL is 8 1/4" with a blade of 3 3/4". $130 each and includes kydex/leather sheath and shipping. 4116 Stainless is a fine grained stainless steel made by ThyssenKrupp in Germany. It was initially designed for hygienic applications for knives in the food, medical and pharmaceutical industries. This steel has characteristics similar to 420HC steel. Some manufacturers such as Cold Steel use it for it's excellent corrosion resistance and affordable price. Cols Steel say it has better wear resistance than 420HC. 4116 features excellent corrosion resistance, good edge retention and wear resistance. You also don't have to be professional knife sharprner to sharpen it to a keen edge. 1. Sold to jeremiah Roasted curly maple handle with G10 accents and liners. Brass pins. 2. Sold to Patriotsson Cocobolo handle with African blackwood and G10 accents and liners. Brass pins. Thanks for lookin'!!

  4. I've had the worst luck with Samsung TVs. One had a power supply issue, one had a backlight go out, and another had the mainboard go out. It could be coincidence, but I lost faith in them. Since I don't play video games, I don't have a 2K source for watching movies, let alone a 4K, and I can't hardly tell the difference in a really good picture or a mediocre picture due to having crappy eyes, I just buy what's on sale nowadays. That's great for me because I save a ton of money buying Vizio, Insignia, etc.

  7. What Mista Triple GGG said. The 357 SIG gives the actual performance that was promised by the 9mm revolution cheerleaders. Only the 9mm P plus plus can come close, no matter what the " experts " say. It is inherently accurate and extremely reliable due to the bottleneck design. I have two of em. It is an excellent cartridge that simply didn't catch on. leroy...

  8. I've stopped trying to understand the television quality terms. I think we are getting to a point where the tv can display finer that what our eyes can see. I have officially became a LG brandwhore for all tv's in the house. They have lasted with zero issues and I like the layout of my remotes lol.

  9. You should be aware of privacy issues on some of the Samsung smart TV’s before you buy one. Make sure you know what you’re signing up for.

  12. LG UHD 55” is a top tv. Model listed below I copied and pasted that’s why the text is bigger and under $500 most places. I’m not yelling at you. I’m an LG loyalist these days. With 2 OLED tv’s hanging on the wall it’s very hard to drop back a level. LED technology is fantastic and cheap (in a good way). Stick with the household names and most anything will be great. 55UQ7570PUJ

  13. It's a business at this point. It's no different than us changing jobs for better pay. It's sad, but there is little reason to be loyal to a school now. It's actually been a business for a long time but the difference is that players are finally getting their piece of the pie.

  15. probably the nicest 04 4x4 tahoe you will find around. very well kept . motor was rebuilt @210k by Currently 230k miles previous owner who I know personally. New heads ,water pump, throttle body etc. I bought this truck from my doctor for my wife to drive. She loves it but she doesn’t like driving it. She likes driving little four-door sedans better. I would drive it but I already have a truck and I’m not in a good spot financially to keep a second truck. 4x4 LT with tan leather interior in great shape. everything works like it should . New open country A/T tires have around 2k miles on them. Aftermarket radio with built in backup camera. Bose system. 3rd row seating with 2nd row captains chairs. 1 small dent in rear tailgate. Rides very smooth . Previous owner used it to commute to knoxville from nashville every third day so mostly highway miles. SOLD

  18. Sorry, no. This got pulled back into the herd. It was buried so deep on this forum, I just forgot to pull it. Glad I did, took a deer with it two weeks ago. Fourth deer with a .35, I'm really growing fond of this old caliber. Thumps 'em hard.

  27. You may want to check out the reviews on the LG A2 line. Just know it may be hard to tell the difference in a big box store under their lighting as well. If you are looking for the best bang for buck, you may want to visit Electronic Express or at a Best Buy and find the TV geek to help you select one in this budget. If you were looking for great quality at a higher price point, I’d steer you to the LG C3 line-up (or an older C1 or C2, if you could find one). Just for general reference. Picture quality will usually be as listed below (in descending order of quality) - - QD-OLED - Quantum Dot OLED, new and expensive - - OLED Organic Light-Emitting Diode, not quite as bright as QLED but better blacks - - QLED – Quantum Dot LED - - Others

  29. Yeah, this actually took place this summer. They didn't bring anyone over. The group that bought them basically bought them for the name. The new owners will leverage the fact that most people won't know or care that they're not the classic company. They'll shift all of the manufacturing for whatever lines they keep overseas and "cut costs" to increase their return.

  30. The kneeling thing was the nail in the coffin for me continuing to watch NFL football, but I was already extremely tired of NFL players refusing to practice etc because they demanded $20 million instead of $18 million, or they weren’t the highest paid running back, or whatever. College football didn’t have all that. I assume that will change.

  35. I'm afraid the .30SC was DOA. It was introduced right in the middle of covid with minimal fan fare. I think there are only two guns chambered for it? The makers didn't make much fuss, so why should customers? Besides, it didn't offer much over existing .32 caliber rounds except for being much more expensive. and harder to find.

  40. I picked this poor thing up a couple of months ago. Hy Hunter Frontier Six Shooter in .22LR. According to the internet, these were actually made by J.P. Sauer & Sohn in West Germany and imported during the 1960s under the Hy Hunter name in Hollywood. CA. This poor thing was a mess when I got it. The barrel was loose, the firing pin was about to fall out and there was an occasional hitch in the action. Plus the grips were completely wrong for this gun. I really don't know how they managed to stay on. And on top of all that, the finish was very badly worn. But it seemed to have good bones and I only gave $30 for it. This is what I started with: The mechanical issues were fairly easy to fix. I found a set of close grips on the internet, but had to fit them some. The problem was in the finish. As near as I could tell, most of this gun is made of Zamak or a similar alloy. So finish options were limited. I decided to go with Brownell's Alumahyde II. Its a spray on, paint like, finish made specifically for alloy guns. I took the gun completely apart, sanded the parts and sprayed the individual pieces. The instructions said it dries to the touch in 1-2 hours, BUT needs 1-2 weeks to cure completely. Of course I tried to rush it and messed up a piece. I re-did that one and then gave the finish the full two weeks to cure completely. Got it all back together and I think it came out pretty good. I took it to the range today. I fired a little over 100 rounds of 7 different types of ammo. It ain't no tack driver, but its minute of tin can with ammo it likes. Not too shabby for a decrepit old man and those tiny fixed sights. All told, I have right at $80 in it. I think it was worth it.
