Good morning and happy holidays! I've had a box of stuff I never use sitting in the closet for ~10 years and just simply don't need it. Some of it is junk but some good stuff here (says a guy about his box of junk). As far as the holsters, from top left is: 2 1911 polymer holsters(don't know brand, screws rusting on one slightly, other one is like new), Wilson Combat leather 1911, Galco 1911 leather. Bottom row: El Cheapo Glock 19, and both a De Santis and CQC holster that will fit a J-Frame or SP101, etc. In the box is a laser target set (probably needs batteries but barely used), some rando revolver grips (SP101?), a picatinny 10/22 mount with scope ring (M-223XR, whatever that is), and the lesser of two M1 bayonets I have (1950s vintage, smells funny, just like some of us...kidding!!!!). In the spirit of the holidays, I could sell this piecemeal but frankly I'd rather go to Lost Pizza in Collierville and have a beer this afternoon instead of worrying about all that. So, free to a better home than I have been! Stipulations - must be able to meet at Lost Pizza in Collierville this afternoon around 1:30, where I will be having a beer as stated. First to reply in the comments that can do this - it's yours! (No DMs please, so everyone knows I'm not hooking up my highschool buddies.) All the best! William15 points

You'll like them. I have 3 of their line. Banish 30 Gold, Banish 22 and a Banish 45. Depending on your needs, they can be swapped between guns with the Banish adapters as long as their rated for the caliber.2 points

probably the nicest 04 4x4 tahoe you will find around. very well kept . motor was rebuilt @210k by Currently 230k miles previous owner who I know personally. New heads ,water pump, throttle body etc. I bought this truck from my doctor for my wife to drive. She loves it but she doesn’t like driving it. She likes driving little four-door sedans better. I would drive it but I already have a truck and I’m not in a good spot financially to keep a second truck. 4x4 LT with tan leather interior in great shape. everything works like it should . New open country A/T tires have around 2k miles on them. Aftermarket radio with built in backup camera. Bose system. 3rd row seating with 2nd row captains chairs. 1 small dent in rear tailgate. Rides very smooth . Previous owner used it to commute to knoxville from nashville every third day so mostly highway miles. SOLD1 point

Here's a brand new never fired Staccato C DPO Optic Ready 9mm Single Stack 10rnd. Mags, three included thats how they sent them out. I ordered this one from a vendor on another forum I belong to, I had him add DLC Coating to the Barrel and to have them install a Single Side Thumb Saftey to it(I prefer those over the Dual set up) Staccato does not make this model anymore. Price Reduction $1900 CASH FTF. In the Whitehouse, Goodlettsville, Hendersonville, Nashville area but can drive a little to meet and complete the transaction. Please PM me any questions about it or if you need some more pictures. Thanks for looking. No trades at this time.1 point

So you can carry legally across state lines. I have had a permit for 25 years, I was going to Whitefish Montana, so I checked to see what states honored a Tenn. carry permit. I went through Kentucky, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Wyoming and Montana. Only Illinois did not.1 point

So I finally took the plunge and ordered my 1st (and 2nd) suppressor today. A Banish 30 from silencer central for my 308, AK-P, and 300 B.O. AR. Mike made the process so easy and fast. Hopefully now they get me approved in under a year. They took care of the forms, set up a trust, and when approved they will ship my suppressors straight to me. If you're in the market they have a bogo sale going on right now with a free 22 suppressor. If you are interested in ordering I can give you Mike's contact number and he will get you set up and on your way. I will update this thread as my status changes to give an idea of current lead times.1 point

Left hand is just the change of a lever. Not any harder to do than right hand. Even metric isn’t any harder, it’s more about what kind of lathe they have and if it has a universal gear box or the right change gears for the metric thread.1 point

I plan on it going between a 308 a 300 blackout and a 7.62x39. If all works well I'll be saving up for a dedicated 5.56 and 45 suppressor1 point

Not that there are many Montana Grizzly fans here, but growing up in Montana and with my wife and I both being UM alumni, I'm very excited that they made it to the championship. https://www.montanasports.com/college/montana-grizzlies/frisco-bound-montana-marches-into-fcs-title-game-with-ot-victory-over-north-dakota-state1 point

Good afternoon! I picked up this PC carbine on here a while back and haven't shot it nearly as much as I thought I would. I have only put a couple hundred rounds through it, and I'm not sure about before. It looks to be in excellent condition. Since I don't use it much, I thought someone else might. Included: Ruger PC Carbine Semi-Auto Rifle with Magpul M-LOK Default Ruger Stock, Ruger and Glock magazine adapters, and Ruger Magazine Volquartsen Ruger PC Carbine TG9 Trigger Assembly: https://www.midwestgunworks.com/page/mgwi/prod/vctg9-b MI Chassis for Ruger PC Carbine: https://midwestindustriesinc.com/mi-chassis-compatible-with-ruger-pc-carbine/ Ruger PC Carbine Shock Buffer: https://www.mcarbo.com/ruger-pc-carbine-shock-buffer.aspx 3 Glock 17-round magazines My asking price is $850, this does not include the sight or sling. I'm also interested in trades for a modern sporting rifle (AR, AK, etc.), braced Carbine pistols, or historic rifles/ handguns. The worst thing I can do to an offer is say no. If you are interested, please be ready to bring your license and sign a written bill of sale. Thanks! Grampy1 point

A buddy of mine went and bought an SVT-40 receiver. Don’t know if he’s going to build it or what. You never know what you will drag home.1 point
-
Absolutely. Mostly depends on how big the headstock of the lathe is as mentioned above. There are a lot of ways to do it, some better than others but anyone who has done many should have the tools to do it. There are various types of jigs to hold the action and be able to adjust runout. I agree with SlickRick that you want someone who knows what they are doing, but it isn’t hard to get a barrel dialed in to thread it. It just takes a little patience.1 point

Safety Reminder for Buyers and Sellers This is an automatic reply meant to protect you as a buyer and a seller on TGO. Use the Buyer/Seller Feedback feature to research who you are dealing with. Please come back and leave feedback for each other after the transaction is complete. Your experience will help others. Never agree to use an electronic form of payment to buy or sell a gun! None of the electronic payment services will protect you against fraud in a firearms transaction. They all have terms of service FORBIDDING the use of their services to buy/sell guns. DON'T DO IT. The Wraith is sold already pending payment. The Aero is the enhanced handguard, it comes with the barrel nut to attach it to a normal upper. It will mount directly to Aero’s enhanced upper receivers.1 point

You can cut and paste, but on the lower left it will pop up a link to convert it to plain text. Using it will make the text normal IMO a handgun is just to get to your rifle, but in a pinch can make a difference, no mater the caliber. Even the lowly .22 has been used to good affect on the most dangerous targets. Bella Twin, the .22 Used to Take the 1953 World Record Grizzly1 point

My brother received the same variation of Model 94 rifle with case hardened receiver/saddle ring as a Future Farmers of America "American Farmer" award in 1972. The banquet / award ceremony was held in the High School gym and the rifle was handed to him on stage and he carried it home. How times have changed.1 point

Yes. That was standard on that model along with the case colored receiver1 point

There is more need for drivers training than handgun training IMO, and driving is a privilege that can have legislation put in place to force the training without violating the constitution.1 point

I won't belittle Grand Torino's knives by calling them a "deal." They are quality pieces that GT offers to us at a fair price. I believe I remember his stating once these were origionally just a hobby. But as I see it, it has progressed beyond that to a retired man's new job. His work and quality exceed the pricing he gives us all. As the owner of a dozen, I can say this for certain. I can't speak from a knowledgeable knife collectors viewpoint...just as a person who appreciates the works of this good man.1 point

I just got stranding Memphis in a hybrid rental while on my way to Texas. Hertz sucks by the way. And for the other thread...... we had a AR10 in 338 fed, 308 Q fix, 6.8 ar15, Seekins 5.56 ar15, Evolve 5.56 ar15, Glock 9mm, and a sig 365x macro. All of that ended up at the airport while exchanging the hybrid for a gas only engine. Moving the gun was kinda funny. I'm pretty excited we didn't end up on the news.0 points
