A lot of events are identified as mass shootings when they're not. It's at least a real mass shooting. You're right though. It won't deliver the votes/money of a Sandy Hook.

Let's be honest. Let's say I was red flagged and crazy as hell. They took all of my guns. All I'd have to do is go out in the yard a pick some plants or fuel up one of several big trucks I have access to. Look up placards on Google and do some cooking. The only way to stop someone is take them away. People just don't have the stomach for it anymore. Taking guns away is part feel good and part control. It does nothing to the bad guy, but it will control the good guys. The root cause is crazy mfers on happy pills. They help a lot, but a small percentage go off.

I was just in close proximity to a bunch of people with NASA Wednesday. They were having a super in Huntsville, Alabama. I was only challenged once by security and my Wife was able to direct NASA personal without question. It's really not that hard. She's not even in the game and people deferred to her. They were talking about stuff they shouldn't have been at the bar next door and said as much. It was ridiculous. I got to the motel at midnight and found out about the shooting. You have soft targets and you have soft targets. One day someone that's not crazy will do it and a gun is not the most effective way.

GSG STG-44 in .22lr. Picked this up the other day at Outpost for $350. I could tell it had been shot a lot as the chamber face and bolt head were very dirty. Fully disassembled and cleaned, now looks great. All the parts look good. Haven’t had a chance to take it to the range yet but will soon. I didn’t know how hard to find and expensive spare mags are. Glad it had two extra. All three are 24 rounds mags. Would like to find a 10 rounder. I’ve been kinda wanting one of these since they came out back in 2012 . Any of you have one of these?

I also don’t think that it is odd that mass shootings happen with “assault type weapons“. Their design is for rapid shooting and increased damage. Why would somebody choose to do a mass shooting with a lever gun, or a bolt action gun. Bad people want to do bad things to as many people as they can and “assault type weapons“ make that easier. it’s not the weapon’s fault other than that is what they were designed to do.

I'm thinking this guy got into his boat, went down river to some secluded spot and offed himself. It could be quite some time before he's found, if they find him at all. Meanwhile, let's all stay scared and in panic mode just like MSM wants.

In Mississippi, you can legally carry handguns in K-12 schools and colleges with an enhanced MS carry license in addition to not worrying about weapons charges over no gun signs at private or public property. You can also carry in all the courthouses in Mississippi as long as you stay outside the courtrooms with an enhanced MS carry license. I am also pretty sure that if you have an enhanced license and carrying, you cannot be refused entry to MS local/state public property or asked to leave just for concealing a handgun.

There's no such thing as a GEN version on the POF Revolution. It's misleading but I just spoke with POF and it's how they developed this lower. It went through 4 generations of development and design, and the final product is the released lower (GEN4). This lower was made in 2021. I hope that clears up the GEN question.

It is 8.5mm in size meaning it will not work for 30 cal or smaller. Look at the teslong for something similar and you can get down under 22 cal.

I’m not a conspiracy theorist and I don’t attend tin foil hat fashion shows, but I’ve been thinking a lot about how the communists are foaming at the mouth, as someone mentioned, to ban ARs. I’ve come to the point where I’m starting to believe that if it was crossbows and slingshots instead of ARs that the communists wanted to ban, all these mass murders would involve crossbows and slingshots.

No disrespect toward the fallen of course, but it certainly struck me as a false flag operation. Plenty of warning signs that were ignored, hearing voices, in a psych ward. So far it sounds like a gun-control push with the mass casualties in play. Conspiracy and Gun control persons on either side will be at full tilt for this one.

I don't see him as a Red, Yellow, or any other flag color poster boy. It is clearly a failure of the system and LEO not enforcing laws already on the books. He said he had violent tendencies, heard voices, thought about shooting up the military base, and was in a mental institution...what more did they need to keep him secluded from the general population???

I'm not sure how this is any different than the 100 other mass shooting events we've had. Certainly no worse than any of the shootings involving kids. In a week this one won't even be in the news.
