  8. Safety Reminder for Buyers and Sellers This is an automatic reply meant to protect you as a buyer and a seller on TGO. Use the Buyer/Seller Feedback feature to research who you are dealing with. Please come back and leave feedback for each other after the transaction is complete. Your experience will help others. Never agree to use an electronic form of payment to buy or sell a gun! None of the electronic payment services will protect you against fraud in a firearms transaction. They all have terms of service FORBIDDING the use of their services to buy/sell guns. DON'T DO IT. Be very wary of anyone who insists on brokering a deal in private or outside of TGO. Scammers almost always prefer to operate out of the public eye. The complete Trading Post Rules and also some more helpful suggestions can be found by clicking this link. Everyone should read them at least once! ~~~ This was an automatic reply ~~~

  13. Here's another one you don't see often. $1500 CASH FTF. This started out a 1980 THE 1955 MODEL TARGET it's Bbl. has been shortened to 3" THE 1955 TARGET MODEL was not stamped on the Bbl. it's my understanding that most were not Re-Stamped due to the 3"Bbl. and the N Frame Square Butt was converted to the K Frame Round Butt so K Frame Grips are what fit it. No Box. I've had a few S&W pepole say that it could be a Jovino or Austin Behlert but I do know that a few other gunsmith did this type of conversations in the late 60' to the late 80's. I don't know for sure who done the work, but it was done correctly and looks good. I live in the Whitehouse area and can meet locally around Goodlettsville, Hendersonville, Gallatin and N Nashville area's, but I can drive half way to meet if your serious about buying it. Thanks for looking. Here's some pictures of it. There is some marks on the right side of the Bbl. from taking it out of the safe and has the S&W Cylinder Turn Ring on it as shown in pics. Rnd. Count is unknown but from the pictures it wasn't fired much from what I can tell.

  14. I haven’t played golf in several years until this week. I got my shoulder rebuilt earlier this year and was curious to see how it would react to swinging a club. I played nine holes earlier this week and was sore as hell, so me not being the smartest kid in class, I went and played again. Sore again. I think my days of 300 yard drives are finished and my putter wasn’t working, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I would like to get back into it again, but between my daughter’s soccer team and my addiction to competitive shooting, it will be tough to do.

  17. Solid flex. I know you don’t need me to tell you, but the Fulton M-14s are the premier M-14 pattern rifles. Leagues above the M1A. I’ve got a Bula myself, but sometimes still wish I’d sprung for the extra grand for a Fulton.

  23. Lots of good info on the hide about the M21, M25, and other variants. A couple of issued stocks have popped up over the years and if I found one.. I'd do a clone 100% build. https://www.snipershide.com/shooting/threads/any-love-out-there-for-the-springfield-armory-m21.7030802/

  24. I bought this rifle while ago because I didn’t have one and thought it was cool. I have a weakness for classic deer rifles and wanted a semi auto .308. The problem is I have to many deer rifles and this one will never get used. I am hoping somebody here will be able to put this classic to use. It is a first year from 1961with a 22” barrel. It is good shape with the normal rubs you would expect from an old deer rifle. There is no rust. The scope is an old Leupold in a weaver hinged mount. The scope can rotate to the side if you want to use the iron sights. I have an extra magazine(so a total of 2) that comes with it. $700

  25. Just here to pile on that suspenders are the answer to this. I recently embraced the truth myself, and I now carry much more comfortably than ever before. Also, no more hiking up my pants because I'm asking more than any belt could ever provide.

  26. For the record, that solar eclipse sucked. I was in Utah for it right along the full path. It was nothing like a total eclipse. We traveled out there for fall break to do the 5 National Parks. The fact that the eclipse happened at the end of the trip was just a bonus. We didn't plan for it. But if we had and built our whole trip around it and traveled out into the middle of nowhere on BLM or NPS land , I'd be more than a little disappointed.
