  1. Bought this for a specific purpose that never materialized. Scope is in like new condition and will come with a Warne 1pc cantilever mount. The glass on this scope is fantastic for the price, as expected from a Trijicon product. This is a second focal plane scope with a non illuminated bdc target reticle. Comes with box and manual. Asking $350 ftf. Live in Fayetteville and work in Murfreesboro. Shipping negotiable.

  2. I picked up a new old shotgun at an auction recently and I finally got it from my FFL. It is a 1936 Remington Model 11 Sportsman autoloading shotgun, 16 ga. My FIL had a Browning A5 Sweet 16 at one time, sadly it was stolen. I was out bid on the lever guns I was really after and just following the auction and it popped up. The price was good, even with the buyer's premium. It included a period Lyman Cutts compensator with a full choke end. it also has a vintage rubber slip on recoil pad that was hard as a rock. Also, it will be a sweet mate for the 1936 Remington Model 81 autoloading rifle (.35 rem). They look quite similar. I did my normal teardown and deep cleaning, removed the old recoil pad (to find another underneath). The finish on the stock was meh, with obvious wear under the recoil pad. The forend was in good shape. Both pieces ended up with a deep clean/strip and a hand rubbed Danish oil finish. One of these days I will get it (and all the lever guns) to the range for a day of shooting. These photos are from the auction site: These were taken when I removed the recoil pad: These are after I put it all back together. The stock and forend will still get a few more hand rubbed layers of Danish Oil: The Model 81 for Reference:

  5. A beautiful and awesome browning BAR. Semi auto 30-06 rifle with a 4+1 capacity. One of the coolest possible deer rifles I could imagine having to be honest. Looking to condense my inventory to 5.56/223 wylde and this one has to go unfortunately. $1000 obo or trade for a fair quality AR, or really nice complete uppers. will especially consider 223 wylde uppers. will come with Nikon buckmaster 4-12x optic and 40 rounds of federal powershok.

  8. I am also a large guy with no butt and carrying has always been an issue with me. I dang near cut myself in half trying to carry my XDs with an extra mag. The tighter I made my belt the more uncomfortable I was. Then a friend told me about upfitters suspenders. They are awesome. I wear a core belt with IWB holster w/extra mag and my belt at a very comfortable light tension and do not run around pulling my pants up all the time. Game changer for me.

  9. Howdy fellers! I just made a trade. Part of that trade was a Zastava cz99. It looks like a great little pistol. About the size of a Glock 19. Looks almost identical to an Sig p226. Other than trigger guard I dont see a difference. Maybe a clone? Any info on this pistol would be great. Thanks

  10. I have a CX4 in 9mm that uses the Beretta 92 mags and I like it a lot. Very well built. Accurate. Reliable. You can switch the charging handle and mag release to work for righty or lefty, which has been very handy. I haven't felt the need to accessorize it in any way. I was going to put a red dot sight on it, but the standard peep sight works so well, I just haven't felt the urgency to put an optic on. My wife and my son enjoy shooting it, too. It is the home defense/ranch varmint rifle at the moment since it is so handy & easy to operate. I'd like to get a second one now that prices have come down. For a while there back in 2018/2019, these guns were scarce & prices were pushing into the $900 range. To get one for $600 seems like a "must buy" deal. You won't be disappointed & it's an easy sell if you tire of it and decide to move on.

  11. I have a Maxpedition Neat Freak which is great for a full size handgun 3 I also have a Maxpedition Compact Admin Pouch which will JUST fit a Sig P365 (original size w/ pinky extension. The problem is both scream "look at my tactical bag with a gun inside". So I mostly wear wide suspenders that clip to my belt loops. It's the most comfy setup I ever tried and the wide straps stay on your shoulders. I always wear mine under my shirt, not over w/ or w/out an undershirt. If you're looking for something more minimal, I can't say enough good things about these Hikers hidden suspenders. I forget I have them on most of the time and they give me enough support to go beltless for even an IWB holster. They're my favorite

  14. I've had a couple and they are certainly a unique carbine. Reliable and accurate enough. I don't often shoot it because I find it awkward to deal with the thumbhole style stock. It's impossible to shift my hand forward enough to activate the the mag catch. I need to reverse the mag catch so I can hit it with my trigger finger. It can take either PX4 or 92 style magazines. There's a kit that can convert from one style to the other, I think I did it on the PX4 version I had. For what it's worth, I find the Ruger a much more handy and modular PCC in every way.

  15. Never owned one but about 10 years ago they were fairly commonly seen in the 'budget pistol' case in many shops. Retail price at the time was $350-450. I read a review in Dillon's Blue Press magazine and the one thing I remember was the accuracy was not good, like 4-5" at 10 yards.

  26. I somehow messed up in creating this post. The Garand is for sale as well. It was a hand select from the Greek imports around 15 yrs ago. It has the original grenade launcher sight holes and after market GL sights. The unfortunate scratch was from my safe. $1800

  28. It's a clone mix. Zastava made these in the 90's to replace the m57 for the Yugo military. The design mostly mirrors a p226 while also taking some notes from Walther's p88. That's just what I've been able to find through some googling. Not much about these pistols it seems.

  29. “Once upon a time I aimed to build "minuteman packages" with a rifle, shotgun and handgun in a range bag with the intention of handing them off to family and neighbors, should the end of the world come. I accomplished that, and then the apocalypse never came.” Just thought I’d share that I think of this quote from time to time. I’ve said more or less this to people that don’t understand why you would ever need more than “X-amount” or firearms. Grab the bags get in the truck and drive. It’s somewhat dreamer/poetic.

  30. Surprised I missed this. Hope you are doing well and catching up. I don't have a big collection, just a few odd pieces. Mostly odd since I like odd things. Told my wife when I die, sell everything she doesn't want. Not giving them to anyone so none of the kids will get "more" than another. Part of my life insurance. Yeah, they are a useable investment. Wish I were in a position to buy, a Wingmaster is on my list. Used my hunting buddy's on rabbit many years ago. Good luck and enjoy!

  31. Outpost Armory Murfreesboro is giving a free 3-month membership to On Target customers with proof of membership there. I noticed it on one of the social media pages. Fortunately, I had my OT receipt and went this morning. You get a "Gold" membership which is their middle package. It's $525/year, so that's pretty a nice touch to get free for 3 months.
