  1. Over the years I have seen, observed and reasoned to the conclusion the Conservatives and the United States are we remember it are doomed. Conservatives, for the most part, simply want to live our lives as we see fit and be left alone to do so. Just leave us in peace to do our own thing without interference. Liberals, OTOH, are so absolutely convinced that their way is not just the right way, but the only way to the point that they feel a need, a mandate, an obligation, to convert everyone else to their viewpoint even if they have to use force. An if you won't convert, they'd rather you be dead than oppose them. They work together, not under any organized conspiracy, but simply because they all have the same goals. Like minds supporting each other in every aspect of our society. Then there is our public school system which has been run by liberals for at least the last 30 years or more. The dumbing down of America, revisionist history, condemning moral values and simply failing our children. They don't teach our children how to think, they tell them what to think. Basically, if you're under the age of 40 and a liberal, congratulations! You're exactly what the system intended you to be. A poorly educated, brainwashed drone willfully and blindly following the program. And therein lies the rub. Every year more and more of these drones reach voting age. Before long, us old school Americans are gonna be vastly outnumbered and forced to watch our beloved nation be destroyed from within. And there ain't a damned thing we can do to stop it.

  5. I have a Stingray Carry in 9mm. Only complaints I have is the main spring housing is slick. Added grip tape to the front strap and the main spring housing and it is good to go. Shot it in a small IDPA match last week and managed to take 2nd place overall.

  12. It’s going to be an ugly season I’m afraid. We saw last week that SEC teams are absolutely going to be a problem. Milton still has a rocket launcher for an arm but there has been no improvement in connecting on down field passes…since he started. That’s not entirely on him, but we are going to need to make big plays.

  16. Harris is an idiot. She's only the VP because Joe needed a black woman to round out his liberal ticket. Sadly, she's the best he could get. For the most part, she's kept in the background. When she does surface, she only embarrasses herself and the Dems. So go ahead and put her in charge of this gun violence office. She'll just screw it up like everything else she touches. BTW: rumor is that Joe is looking for a new running mate for 2024.

  23. I thought I'd show off some work that I had done to a spare grip module for my Staccato C2. A gentleman named Zach, who posts as "Grip-It-Customs_" on Instagram (do note the trailing underscore in his name) did this for me last week and I couldn't be happier. Not only is the texture that he laid down perfect for EDC use, but a byproduct of removing the factory grip texture is that the overall circumference of the grip is slightly reduced. Since I'm a size-medium glove wearer, this translates into making the gun really fit my hand better than it already did. And for comparison, this is an old photo of what the gun comes with from the factory... I really couldn't be happier. And since the grip modules on these, while not exactly inexpensive, are replaceable it's not like I have permanently altered the gun in any way. Anyway, I feel like this is an example of plastic surgery gone RIGHT. Lord knows we've seen some stipple jobs on TGO that, no offense meant to the owners of those guns, looked like someone's dog had chewed on them for a few hours.

  26. Shared with permission from Trevor Saunders (co-founder of this match), because he says it better than I ever could: 2023 Legion Memorial Run N Gun is hard to sum up in a single post. I've tried sitting down and writing a post more than once, and stared at a blank screen. Matt Stennett and Jay Roberts did an amazing job this year honoring 5th Group's losses, taking care of our Gold Star Families, and running 4 matches over the course of 3 days. My biggest take away this year - witnessing the community that Trevor Graves started building around this match 7 years ago come together to grieve his loss, honor his memory, and care for each other. Our Legion family spent a lot of time processing lessons learned with Trevor's loss and discussing in-depth what we can do to stop the bleeding from unseen wounds in the warrior community. Jamie Korenoski said it best when he encouraged everyone to be invasive in their friendships. There is a lot of work to be done; but this match and the Legion family truly made last weekend a healing experience for me, and I don't think I'm the only one. Some of the most impactful moments of the match were listening to Pete Jones and Shane Kerwin share their experiences and why they support the match. It's not a business opportunity for them. They don't walk away with profit. They do it because they believe in the mission and it's an opportunity to tell the stories of their brothers. I made new friends, caught up with old friends, and lost a few pounds walking up the hill on Stage 1 about 80 times on Sunday. I can't thank the all-volunteer staff enough for coming back year after year to make this event happen. Cumulatively, we crossed the $100,000 mark in funds raised for Special Forces Association, Chapter 38 over the last 7 years. That's not from "mega donors"; that's from the community showing up, competing, and generously giving. That's from individuals leveraging their talents and resources to raffle off paintings, guns, handmade swords. It's humbling and inspiring at the same time. Thank you Dead Zero Shooting Park for hosting us. Even when M240b's show up unexpectedly, you've still been gracious and accommodating. Spike's Tactical - you've been with us since the beginning and your consistent generosity is a testament to the character of your company. Alan's Arsenal LLC - Thank you for your continued support! Your contributions to the prize table are unreal. And your shirts were outstanding this year! I got to sample product from The Star Spangled Brewing Co. Uptown, another Green Beret owned business, and I can't wait until they break into the Kentucky market! Personal Survival Solutions, Aero Precision, Tomahawk Strategic Solutions, VK Integrated Systems, @Nocturnality Night Vision, Innovative Targets, Samson Manufacturing, @Glock Store Nashville - Thank you all! Trevor Saunders carried Trevor Graves' plate carrier in his ruck this year as tribute. He says "The heaviest part of my ruck was Trevor's plate carrier. My small way of carrying him with me. Stay Classy. "

  27. From Lisa (my dear wife, the photographer): 2023 Legion Memorial Run N Gun photos are up. This year, I was fortunate enough to have a helper on the course taking pictures with me. My daughter joined me for the weekend, so there are more photos than usual to browse through. If you find pictures of yourself, keep looking - there may be more in the album somewhere. (Edit to add: I, as well as my 'helper'/daughter, appreciate you all tolerating our presence on the course. Over the years, these matches have proven to be a great outlet for practicing and learning different photography skill sets. This year, my take-away lesson from shooting Legion would be to pay better attention to my shutter speed, which in turn drives my ISO setting, in different conditions. Here's to grainy photos and lessons learned.) I would recommend viewing and downloading from a laptop or desktop computer as using devices can be problematic. Share and enjoy your photos with family and friends. You must contact me and obtain permissions before any use of these photos for commercial or monetary purposes. 35. Harris: "We all can do something to control guns, held in the hands of those who are in control of their gun. This is crucial, since gun control involves controlling guns, and controlling those who control their guns. This kind of approach to controlling guns will stop the illegal control of guns to do the damage that a controlled gun can do to people who are not in control of their guns."
