  1. I wouldn't help the atf find lost starving orphans in the forest. I'd go find the orphans, but I wouldn't help the atf do it. LOL

  5. GSG STG-44 in .22lr. Picked this up the other day at Outpost for $350. I could tell it had been shot a lot as the chamber face and bolt head were very dirty. Fully disassembled and cleaned, now looks great. All the parts look good. Haven’t had a chance to take it to the range yet but will soon. I didn’t know how hard to find and expensive spare mags are. Glad it had two extra. All three are 24 rounds mags. Would like to find a 10 rounder. I’ve been kinda wanting one of these since they came out back in 2012 . Any of you have one of these?

  7. Here is what I submitted.....Red Flag Laws are arguably unconstitutional. You should never be able to have your property seized without legal due process in court. Unless strong safeguards are put in place to keep people from frivolously using the red flag law as a means of harassing gun owners, this will end up being the "angry ex girlfriend law". NO RED FLAG LAWS !

  9. Just picked up this carry piece Ruger Mk IV with a little Turnbull magic. I've been lusting after one for awhile and noticed they had one in stock so I jumped on it. Can't wait to try it out. Figured there have to be others on TGO who appreciate what Turnbull can do.

  11. LOL! Many moons ago, on our first wedding anniversary, the bride and I ventured up to the Biltmore for a little getaway. I stopped at a decent looking hotel and inquired about reserving a room for a couple of nights. The desk clerk looked at me indignantly and said I’d be better served across the street at the Motel 6. He was probably right, but at the time, it pissed me off. 28 years later, I’m retired. I bet that arrogant SOB is still working.

  15. I agree. Soups, chili, and spagetti sauces all taste better with time add to the mix. Gives the ingredients a chance to blend all their flavors together. Makes for good eating!

  19. A few years ago I decided to get a C&R and initially I regretted it (for I am now on the government's radar) but this last year I have acquired six vintage weapons that I have had shipped to my home. They are: Mk1 No 5 Enfield Jungle Carbine, Savage 1917, Remington model 12 pump, Remington model 121 pump, Broomhandle Mauser and a Remington model 51. Jim

  20. Started feeding birds 2 weeks ago. Been having problems with Black Birds eating all the feed and the songbirds not getting any. I was feeding a mixture of Classic Pennington Wild Bird Feed, Black Oil Sunflower Seeds, and Suet. I just put out the Sunflower Seed and the Black Birds and starlings don't like them, so they are leaving the feeders alone. You would not believe how many songbirds we have. My wife and I are loving it. Purple Finches, Titmouse, Black Capped Chickadees, Woodpeckers, Blue Jays, Cardinals, and a few more, are visiting regularly.

  28. I only feed the song birds in the cold weather as most of the black birds and starlings have flown further south but not going to feed any seed eating birds until I get my Rodent problem under control. This is the first time in my life of feeding birds that I have had a rodent issue. I thought I might catch a few in traps and solve my problem but after catching 8 and still having issues I have a professional exterminating service coming to the house today to see what needs to be done to eradicate the problem. They have got to smart for the traps and will set them off without getting caught and eat the bait off it. I have tried Decon tablets in the holes they hide in but they just push them out of the holes and onto the floor and won't eat them. The man coming out today guarantees his work and says he will get rid of them so I guess we will see. He offers a money back guarantee if he can't rid me of the problem.

  32. My wife makes chicken soup about every month. She uses a Costco rotisserie chicken that we cut from for a day or two then she boils it, removes the remaining meat and then slow cooks the carcass for about 10 hours. Makes the best broth. She always changes up what veggies added to it. I really think eating chicken soup on a regular basis has kept us from getting colds.

  33. I make Burgoo all year round. It's between a soup and stew. I make my own BBQ with my old school homemade open pit. I cook pork , deer , and mutton on it and mixed up all those meats and put them into my Burgoo . It some of the best stew/soup you'll ever eat.

  39. I run Rexing dash cams in all my vehicles. Can wifi footage to my phone. I run a Garmin (syncs to my GPS and phone) and also a Kenwood (syncs to my flat panel radio) in my motorhome. Monitoring front and rear. All cameras have the largest, high quality, SD card they can run. Being in insurance I cannot stress how important it is to have some type of proof in accident situations. The number of innocent people left holding the bag just might startle you.
