  3. I just took my TX 22 Competition out for another test drive. I used the provided mag loader to stock the 3 mags. I put 16 rounds in each magazine. I was shooting from a standing "semi supported" (Mag plate seated on a stool) hand hold at 12 yards with the open sights that came on the pistol. No FTF/Cycle, somewhat slow fired all 48 rounds, and put every round, but 2, in a 1 1/2" groups on steel. That pistol shot to the sights, and it is very accurate. Really like the pistol.

  4. Here is a big reason for this problem. There are no consequences for breaking the law anymore. Maybe a slap on the wrist.

  5. I leave guns in the house every time I leave the house. The house is locked and alarmed to keep "unwanted persons" from getting them. It's not perfect and can be beaten by a burglar, but why would that make me "irresponsible"? Now change "house" to "vehicle". It's locked and alarmed to keep "unwanted persons" out of it. Vehicles are easier/safer/faster to break into than houses and theft is more likely so we should take extra steps to secure/remove guns from them. But I don't blame the victim of a vehicle theft. The problem with thievery is and always has been the thieves.

  6. Bought two, nice! My only 10mm is a Smith 610 revolver. Cool gun. Someday would like to ad an older Smith auto to that. 1006 or the like.

  7. I think it's rather odd that ammunition has returned and at very reasonable prices- In fact a person can usually find good deals- I am thinking that the primer pricing is intentional and we are being ripped off-after covid or not- If ammo prices have fallen steeply why not then primers and powder-

  13. I just got 5,000 Murom brand small pistol primers from Capital Cartridge for $327.50 delivered (HAZMAT included). That's not old prices, but at $65.50/1000 it is the best that I have seen in a while. I'm just loading for plinking, so as long as they go boom, I'm OK with them.

  19. I have loaded guns in the house also, even when I'm not home. They are accessible but still well hidden. I figure houses are less apt to be broken into than a car, and once a car is broken into there really arent any places in the car that a gun wont be found. A 'smash and grab' can be done in a few seconds. It would take someone quite a while to find any guns in my house, if at all. My intention was not to blame the car owner.

  27. The simple fact is those on our side don't have the motivation to match them at their own game. Say what you want, but they walk the walk and we just do a lot of talking. They have the media to help protect them, but at the end of the day, so long as we sit at home we get what we get. I am not saying I am going to go and protest either, just pointing out the facts. It just isn't as important for most as they like to make it out to be. On the other side and as I have said for a long time. I don't really care about what they do because I am going to live by my own rules regardless. If they eventually come with consequences so be it.

  28. Should be fine without the plate mount. As your not changing the weight of the slide. I wonder if Taurus would sell an undrilled barrel for this. I really like a red dot on this gun. Perfectly made for one. No stress on the red dot. The cheap XP Glass Eagle is preforming perfectly. It’s got all the good features for a fraction of the price. A little hard to find now that their not made anymore.

  29. I really, really like the one I purchased also. Don't plan to put a red dot sight on it, but plan to take the mounting plate off the one I purchased. The plate is too wide and I don't like that about the pistol. I hope the loss of weight will not cause problems with cycling. I have not had any failures with it as of now. Had it out 4 trips to the range, and put 4 boxes through it. WELL worth the money IMO. Edited; Spelling

  32. A- This is a very good price on a M4. Thats without the adjustable stock. Crazy good deal. If you are thinking about getting a 12 gauge seriously consider this one. The biggest selling point for me was someone interviewed a couple of the gunsmiths at Battlefield Vegas and they said: "... before we got the Benelli M4 we did not know much about it. However we heard that marine armorers claim its the most reliable system in their inventory. While we cannot speak for the marines, we can absolutely attest that it is the single most reliable weapon here at Battlefield Vegas beating out AKs, ARs, etc with its durability and longevity..." B- I spoke with a friend who has one and has for several years. He said he has never cleaned it and trusts it with his life. I purchased and while it is easily my most expensive firearm it is the one I trust the most and would be most hesitant to sell. a very good deal. Do yourself a favor and if you are considering it, do it. Seriously that stock alone is worth $400 easy.....

  33. I always tell those who are passing through Memphis to not stop 50 miles on either side of the Mississippi River from Arkansas to Tennessee as the jungle life, lack of credible law enforcement, and political antipathy towards decent people who pay taxes are rampant.

  34. This is the picture I wish we'd see in the mass (liberal) media. These are the ones who would keep AK's if they are banned. These are the ones who won't be remove their brace now that its a caliber increasing death device. Pretty good bet all 3 are felons who cant legally own guns. But expect to see plenty of pics of the law abiding at guns stores instead pm their next anti-gun misinformation post

  35. If the perp is armed? Live by the gun, die by the gun. My M1 Super 90 will launch 8-00 buck faster than they can blink an eye. That’s 72 30 cal projectiles in the air in less than two seconds. Little messy but, oh well. Supreme Court has also said that law enforcement is not responsible for your safety. Chew on that for a while. It’s time folks, it’s time.
